It is clear. They said they will announce something, so they will. That's as clear as it gets. It may be anime related, or it may be something else. We just need to wait and see. But regardless of it is, we at least know that something is coming.

Even if nothing comes today, at least we know there is going to be an announcement for something on the 31st, so that's still something to be happy about imo :)

I thought that Project Eevee tweet was cute because I could totally see it being a hint for an announcement (assuming the translation is accurate). It might be nothing, but even still I think it's quite clever :)

Totally agreed with this and in addition, I'd love to see some moments between the player and their entire team. I know the starter is the first/special Pokemon, but I'd enjoy seeing the rest of the party get some love as well. I love how ORAS's ending could represent any player's Pokemon and...

Sounds plausible honestly, but still gonna go with fake just because. Also, it would seem weird to me if Pikachu and Eevee weren't the starters, but were just gift Pokemon. Why name the games after them if they aren't going to be the actual starters?
