Re: The In-Game Team Review Thread
Because I recently put a new internal battery in my Crystal Version, I was able to play it again, and I've been doing just that (on my good ol' Game Boy Color, no less) for the past few days. Just last night, I defeated the Pokémon League and tweeted up a...
Re: Best Heart Gold Team Ever?
JakeALakeALake
This is clearly an in-game team, and as such, it belongs in this thread. That's where I'm moving this now.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
This is for the Battle Subway, so it's technically an in-game team. I know Sandstorm teams are overused as all get-out, but I felt like making one, anyway. Tell me what you think.
Tyranitar
Brave / Lum Berry / Sand Stream

Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
^ While Latios doesn't win any defensive awards, base 110 Speed and 130 Sp. Attack is nothing to sneeze at, especially with the options it has.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
From what I can see, this team looks awfully Weavile-weak. Luke suffers from Brick Break, Latios dies to Night Slash, and Garchomp takes an awfully big wound from Ice Shard (if it doesn't die, of course). I'm not saying the weasel could sweep by itself...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
You'll need a higher-level Flying-type (or maybe that Feraligatr) to bait T-bolt/Volt Tackle. Red's Pikachu might actually use Quick Attack on a little Pidgey.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
If it really is for the Frontier, ditch them both. Rayquaza can't get in, and Mightyena's just crap in general. If it's for the Trainer Tower (where their Ubers are allowed), just ditch Mightyena. Rayquaza's kinda good, though Fly isn't the best of...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Pretty good, actually. Though I should point out: on a Psychic-type like Mew, Psychic is anything but unpredictable.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Latios: Having Luster Purge and Psychic is just pointless. And since Psychic is infinitely more useful than Luster Purge, I suggest replacing Luster Purge with Dragon Claw or maybe Thunderbolt. (Dragon Claw's Special in Gen. III.)

Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Try changing Hidden Power for Waterfall, instead. Hidden Power's power varies between 30 and 70, and it's highly unlikely to get 70.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Like I said, Nasty Plot is nice, but Sunny SolarBeam might be better.
As for Venomoth, in-game + Roost = unnecessary, as I stated earlier. Toxic can hurt high-defense foes, and SolarBeam might not be good if Abomasnow's Hail is up. How 'bout Energy Ball?
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Triple-post alert!
Typhlosion could work, but Infernape's faster, and it's strong in both spectrums, Physical and Special.
