Re: The In-Game Team Review Thread
I already have the Eevee, so I can't exactly breed for nature or hidden power (and even if I could, I suck at that anyway). Still, Jolteon it is, then.
Re: The In-Game Team Review Thread
Doing a nuzlocke in Fire Red, and so far my team is Charizard (lvl 36), Graveler (lvl 35), Vileplume (lvl 36), and Persian (lvl 35). I just got an Eevee - what should I evolve it into? I kind of want to try for a Poliwag once I get a better rod, so I'm kinda...
Re: The Complete My Team Thread
Do you plan on making this competitive? If so, you're going to need to decide whether or not you want to run all singles or all doubles.
Areodactyl should lead, in any case, so you get your rocks up. Sky Attack is fine if you can predict and charge up when...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Since I did mention I haven't actually started to build the team yet, I don't have movesets.
Also, I'm kinda concerned about how late in the game you can obtain some of these pokemon, notably Dusclops and Wailord. You don't get the Good Rod until...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
I haven't even beaten the Elite Four in my most recent Emerald playthrough yet, and I'm already thinking about my next team. Keep in mind, I'm trying to use pokemon that I haven't used (or haven't used very much).
Sceptile
Wailord
Torkoal
Dusclops...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
I ended up doing exactly that (Calm Minding with Gardevoir, that is)...hooray for Luvdisc being abysmally weak. Yeah, Mightyena's item was just left over from traveling, and as for Bite...I've been looking to replace it. It's Hidden Power is...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
In Emerald, going to face Juan.
Blaziken lvl 43@Charcoal
Lax
-- Double Kick
-- Slash
-- Bulk Up
-- Flamethrower
Gardevoir, lvl 44@Quick Claw (I know, I just needed to free up space in my bag)
Timid
-- Calm Mind
-- Confusion
-- Psychic
-- Thunderbolt...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
I'm pretty sure if you want your Battle Tower teams rated, no one will bitch at you for making it's own thread.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Ah, I tried using Clefairy and Clefable in my last playthrough...I even managed to catch two with really good natures (Bold and Adamant), but...they didn't really work for me. :-/ This is the team I'm thinking of so far:
Venusaur (I always have to have...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Can someone suggest pokemon I can use for a walkthrough of FireRed I'm planning? I want to use things that, generally, not many people use.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
That actually looks really good. If you want, you could add Wish in there somewhere to help you heal as you spam Calm Mind, but overall, the set looks good.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Well, I broke down and caught myself a Sableye in Emerald to deal with Brawley, so I've raised it up. The problem is, I'm now about to go through Victory Road, and Wallace is going to thoroughly rape me -- after Drake's softened me up a bit. Here's my...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Just restarted Emerald, and have twice failed to beat Brawly (specifically, his f-ing Makuhita). This is my team:
Combusken (lvl 20)
Mild nature
-- Scratch
-- Double Kick
-- Peck
-- Ember
Lombre (lvl 18)
Rash nature
-- Astonish
-- Growl
-- Absorb
--...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Just SRed a pretty sweet Kabuto in my FR version: Adamant, Swift Swim, perfect Attack IV, and not a single other IV under 20 (22 / 31 / 20 - 24 / 25 / 21 / 28). I'm thinking of either using it as a lead or Swords Dancer, but it's definitely getting...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Flux, I disagree with Phoenicks on only one point -- Surf is NOT a useless HM. That move alone can completely sweep Flint, especially in Platinum.
Playing through Fire Red for the first time! Tips on my team? I just got to Celedon City
Ivysaur (lvl...
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
^ If you want to evolve your Piloswine, bring a heart scale to the move relearner in Pastoria and teach it Ancient Power. Also, you've got Dragon Dance on Gyarados, but no physical moves, and it's special attack sucks. Give it Waterfall and let it...
