Sitting at just under 2k as of right now, but I've got a thee hour stint of nothing between my last class and my local today, so I can probably manage to bump that up.

Going for a looser take on the theme. The message in my story takes the form of a painting by an amateur artist. Won't say too much more as I'm still fleshing it out, but I'm looking forward to all of you reading it.
