I like Alolan Ninetales better only because Soki gave me a shiny Alolan Vulpix I ended up using during my playthrough of Ultra Sun lol. I prefer Fier-types usually, but Alolan Ninetales has a nicer colour and beautiful eyes.

I suppose Heart Gold is the next best. It does lack some Lugia in the main plot, but it does have Growlithe instead of Vulpix so that's good. Def prefer a beautiful Arcanine over Nintetales (I like Ninetales too, don't worry, Nintetales fans).

Soul Silver is the best and must be played with care (and a Wooper) That is all gl hf. EDIT: Oh and you should totally do a Nuzlocke at some point if it's getting easy. Those are fun and evil at the same time :b
