Actually most Pokémon with durable tails learn Aqua Tail via Move Tutor unless they’re also like Fire-type or something incompatible. As long as Grookey’s tail gets bigger, I could see it learning the move. Water Pulse, on the other hand, isn’t learned by many Grass-types.

To be fair, there’s only been 2 of them and we know how GameFreak loves their gender norms. It took us 6 generations just to get a Female Bug specialist.

I can’t find it, but there was a list of Pokémon somewhere that were all banned from the GTS at some point for having banned words in their actual names and Latias was on it. I think it might contain a swear in another language, but idk.

Neither of those things really demonstrates ambition from GF. Those were moves made by Nintendo.

GameFreak is not “incredibly lazy” lol. Lack of ambition maybe. Not lazy in any sense of the word.
