Bulbacast Season 2 - Episode 2

The second season of BulbaCast has now started and the second episode of the season has been released. The entire cast is back again and is taking your calls! BulbaCast is a community effort supported by Bulbagarden, PokemonPalace.net, &removed* and others designed to give you current and relevant information on exciting Pokemon topics you want to know about.

The BulbaCast regulars assemble at 7PM EST/EDT on Saturday evenings to talk about everything a Pokemon fan wants to know about - new episodes, new movies, new games, current issues, new Pokemon, and maybe even which character looks best in a bikini. And, since it's a podcast, you can download it to your iPod using iTunes or just listen to it on your computer.

On top of that, if you'd rather join in the discussion than just listen, you can! All you need is a microphone, Skype, and show up in the *removed* and you too can be a part of the Bulbacast.

Season 2 - Episode 2 includes:
Hosts: Archaic (Bulbagarden), PPN (PokemonPalace.net), TSS_Killer *removed*, and Pie (Bulbagarden Staff).
Discussion: Favorite Pokemon and episode, Popularity of US D/P release speculation, the amount of times the Magikarp salesman has appeared in the anime, using the same anime models for unknown characters.

The casts seem too short now. I liked the in-depth discussions from last season. I'm not saying they should be more than an hour, but maybe 45 minutes? Even 35 or 40 minutes would allow quite a bit more. Also, the intro music is way too long.

Well, this wasn't a full-length cast because all of the set topics were recorded on the previous day. Episode 2 is more of a "Welcome Back" cast.

The intro song was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long, but everything else was good. The 'cast seemed to be more organized, and everyone wasn't interrupting each other as much as they used to.

Yeah I really enjoyed this episode too, but I do agree that it's too short, as was the previous one. I hope to see them get longer as you said in order to have, as Argy also said, more in depth conversations.

We'll likely end up having in-depth conversations on things when we can arrange to have an entire cast devoted to just that one topic.

Instead of adding one permanent host, you guys should rotate hosts every week. You know, recruit a few different people and let them alternate.
