Story Event: Pasio Friendiversary

Players will join Lear & Hoopa in this new story event as they celebrate their Friendiversary, which will continue in-game through tro March 16th at 9:59pm. Completing missions within this event will unlock special stories for the May, Skyla, and Raihan Anniversary Sync Pairs that will be made available in their own separate Poké Fair Scouts alongside this event. Players will earn Event Voucher L, M, and N items for completing stages within the event, which can be exchanged for a variety of in-game rewards. Special badges and other in-game rewards, including BP Points and up to 2120 gems, can also be earned from battle completion rewards and for completing missions in this event.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of two x1.6 sync pairs and a x1.2 sync pair would grant a combined +140% (x2.4) rewards. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:
A number of areas will be added and removed during the course of this event. The schedule of these changes can be found below.
March 1st:

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1, 2, and 3 are reset every day at 10:00pm (PST).
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
  • Remaining Event Voucher L, M, and N will be automatically converted to coins at the end of this event, with 10 coins per remaining item being delivered to players in their Present Boxes.
Poké Fair Scouts for May, Skyla, and Raihan
The three new Anniversary Sync Pairs will each debut in their own separate Poké Fair Scout over the course of March.

MastersEX_May_Anniversary2022.PNG

Already revealed a while back, May touches down on Pasio with a new partner in Latias, and a new outfit to her name. This Poké Fair scout is available right now, and will run through until March 30th at 9:59pm (PST). 5★ Sync Pairs have a 10% chance of appearing in this scout. As usual, other 5★ sync pairs will still appear as normal in this Poké Fair Scout, although May (Anniversary 2022) & Latias have a higher chance of appearing than other sync pairs. For more information on the rates for specific characters, go to the Offering Rate section on the Sync Pair Scout screen. Fair-exclusive pairs may reappear in future Poké Fair Scouts.

May (Anniversary 2022) & Latias is a Fair-exclusive 5★ Psychic-type Tech Sync Pair with an expanded Sync Grid, and the potential to be powered up into a 6★ EX, which changes May's outfit to a Purple and Black dress. May (Anniversary 2022) & Latias can turn the field of play into Psychic Terrian thanks to Psychic Wish. Their Best Friends! move allows them to apply a +2 Defense, +2 Sp Def, and +3 Critical hit rate buff to their stats, and apply the Move Gauge Acceleration to the allies' field of play. They can also use Sp Atk All Move, making them a sync pair that can excel both offensive-wise and defensively as well. After using their sync move, May's Latias Mega Evolves, changing her On a Roll 1 passive skill to Unexpected Benefit x2, which will allow her Mist Ball attack to lower the enemies Sp. Atk by two stats guaranteed. This goes well with her other passive skill, Added Insult, which powers up her attack the more her opponents Sp Atk and Sp Def is lowered, allowing the pair to boost their attack stat more and more with every assault.

MastersEX_Skyla_Anniversary2022.PNG
Ready to take flight once again Skyla returns to Paiso along with her partner Tornadus, and a new outfit. Skyla (Anniversary 2022) & Tornadus will debut in their own Poké Fair banner on March 1st at 10:00pm (PST), and will remain up until March 30th at 9:59pm (PST). They are a Fair-exclusive 5★ Flying-Type Tech Sync Pair with an expanded Sync Grid, and the potential to be powered up into a 6★ EX. Skyla (Anniversary 2022) & Tornadus can set up Flying Zone, boosting flying type moves by 50% to help enable other flying-type sync pairs such as Blue & Pidgeot, Lysandere & Yveltal, and Steven (Anniversary 2021) & Rayquaza. In addition to this, the pair can restore the HP of all allies with their mini potion all move, and their passive skill can leave the opponent to be flinched or leave the opponent confused. This makes Skyla (Anniversary 2022) & Tornadus a sync pair that can heal support their allies, or disrupt their enemies.

MastersEX_Raihan_Anniversary2022.PNG
Taking the heat of the Sandstrom head-on, Raihan joins the fray with his partner Flygon and a new outfit. Raihan (Anniversary 2022) & Flygon's Poké Fair banner will debut on March 3rd at 10:00pm (PST), and will remain up until March 30th at 9:59pm (PST). Raihan is a air-exclusive 5★ Dragon-type Tech Sync Pair with an expanded Sync Grid, and the potential to be powered up into a 6★ EX. Raihan (Anniversary 2022) & Flygon can use Sandstrom and Max Flare, enabling weather conditions for other sync pairs to use. Their Trainer Move Can't Be Tamed! raises their Sp. Atk and Critical Hit Rate, and also applies the Super Effective UP Next effect to all allied sync pairs. Their passive also buffs their Attack, Defense, Sp Atk, Sp Def, and Speed by 30%, but only when weather conditions are in effect, making them a sync pair that is powerful under weather.

Additional 2.5-Year Special Sync Pair Scouts
The following three Scouts will be opening at 10:00pm (PST) on February 28th, March 2nd, and March 4th respectively.
  • 5★-Select Seasonal Scout x11 A

Additional missions focused on Flying- and Dragon-type Pokémon will be added at 10:00pm (PST) on March 1st and 3rd respectively. Teams with the specified Type theme for each mission will receive Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def bonuses, giving them an easier time in completing stages.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
