Welcome to the fourth annual War Room Awards! It’s that time of year again. This is your chance to acknowledge all our esteemed contributors and decide the best of the best. So let’s get started!
Rules (make sure you read carefully):
— All games nominated must be completed by the time the thread goes up (August 2nd, 2014).
— Due to the lack of Non-Mafia games this year, only Mafia games will be eligible for nomination. Games that are eligible to win an award must have been completed after August 2nd 2013. Eligible games are listed at the end of this post for your convenience.
— Voters must have participated in at least one game, which must be completed in order to be eligible for an award.
— Both Setra and CrackFox are eligible to receive awards.
— Voters are not permitted to vote for themselves or for a banned user.
— You may not vote for best town/mafia performance if you were in that group in that game.
— Voting will be public and in the nominations thread only. Voters can only vote for one person per category.
— Voters can give the reasoning behind their votes with a small explanation, but it's not mandatory. Voters must provide the title of the game or games which prompted their vote.
— Two further awards - Best Player and Best Host - will be awarded to the person who accumulated the highest number of votes across the categories of the Player Tier and the Host Tier respectively. Should the winners of the Best Player Award and the Best Host Award win more than half the categories in their respective tier, they would solely win that respective award, and their other awards would go to the person that has garnered the second highest number of votes in those categories.
— You are not required to vote in all categories, you can vote in one or you can vote in them all. As long as you vote only once, in each.
— Two new awards 'best newcomer' are now present in the host and player categories. This is for users who have joined TWR in the last year. In addition, the award for best contributor to The Situation Room has been dropped due to lack of activity.
— The voting period of two weeks will end on August 16th.
