Seems to line up as Iwane's last few episodes are JN056, 063, and 070.

I had a feeling that this match would happen in August. Anyway, I think Gengar and Lucario will be the stars here. I am curious to see who Ash's faces next, so far he has been battling returning characters in chronological order going by the generations. Going by this theory, Gen 3 should be next, but there is no really standout character for Ash to battle, so I wonder if they just skip that and resolve the Bea storyline.

I hope this is where we upgrade to 3v3s now that we’re in the Hyper Class. I feel like Pikachu and Lucario are pretty likely. If it is a 3v3, I do believe that Gengar is the most likely option for a third member. Revealing him to have Dazzling Gleam over Psychic in the 1-hour special would make more sense if he was about to battle. Plus, he already battled an Electric-type specialist before.

Considering most of the time Ash has a big battle, Goh watches it from the sidelines with another character to commentate (like Chuck or Drayden). I wonder who it will be this time. I hope it’s Flint and they set him and Ash up for a rematch.

And, why won't they just swap the Alola and this episode and make it a Sinnoh 3-parter. It makes no sense for me they go to Alola, only to go straight back to Sinnoh.

FINALLY another big PWC Ash episode! Based on that title, this is very likely Volkner's return! I'm actually excited to see Volkner again. Hoping Lucario gets to FINALLY do something again and get a legit PWC win after not winning anything in PWC since that Electabuzz trainer. Maybe Gengar also. Gengar could also use a battle.

I'm holding my fingers crossed Surge and Sabrina were two of them. Surge because of what Visquez said after Ash's battle with her, and Sabrina because it'd be fun to see how she's changed since season 1.
