Ranked Battles Series 11 regulations announced; to begin on October 31st

The Pokémon Company International has announced the regulations for Ranked Battles Series 11 in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, which will begin on October 31, 2021.

Ranked Battles Series 11 will use the same rules as Ranked Battles Series 8, in which Trainers will be allowed to have one of their Pokémon Dynamax or Gigantamax during battle and one Pokémon from a list of Restricted Pokémon can be included on their Battle Team. Apart from Mythical Pokémon, all Pokémon from the Galar Pokédex, the Isle of Armor Pokédex, and the Crown Tundra Pokédex are permitted, along with "certain other Pokémon"; Pokémon must have either the Galar symbol, or the battle-ready symbol. Duplicate Pokémon and duplicate held items are not allowed. All Pokémon will be set to Lv. 50, including Pokémon below Lv. 50.

Each battle begins with a 90-second Team Preview phase. In each battle, players will have the following time limits:

• 7 minutes of Your Time
• 45 seconds of Move Time
• 20 minutes of Game Time
