Notice A new era begins for Anime...and another one ends

You've probably noticed that, for the better part of a month now, we've had some new blood in the Anime staff in the form of @Pokemaster97; and @Neo Blaze;, both of whom were appointed following the recent staff drive. I think that they've both been doing a fantastic job so far, so I hope you'll join me in welcoming them to the staff, and in congratulating them for making such a promising start.

Next up, congratulations to @Hidden Mew;, who was recently promoted to s-mod in recognition of all the great work that she's done for Anime for the past two years. I couldn't have asked for a better right-hand mod within that time.

And finally, that era I refer to which is now ending is...my own. I have been giving it a lot of thought, and I've decided that the time has definitely come for me to step down as Anime head, and from the Anime staff, period. This wasn't an easy decision, as I have been an Anime mod for almost three years now and I've really enjoyed taking such an active role in helping to support Bulbagarden, but my circumstances are changing, and I find that I no longer have the enthusiasm for the anime that I used to, nor the time to commit to being Anime head. I had wanted to remain on the Anime staff while the new mods were still finding their feet, and now that I'm confident that the forum will be in good hands, I'm finally going public with my plans. Some good news (or possibly bad, depending on your perspective) is that I was recently promoted to an admin position, so you haven't seen the last of me around here. Even better news is that Hidden Mew will be taking over from where I'm leaving off as Anime head, so be sure to congratulate her twice over.
