Hi everyone,

recently it has come to the moderators' attention that a lot of people have been asking or complaining about a certain thing. This concerns the fact that a lot of review threads for episodes are put up late nowadays, sometimes days after airing.

The moderators do everything in their power to make sure there's a thread up as soon as possible, so people can discuss all they want. But you should also understand that moderators also have lives outside the forums. Just as everyone else, we have our hands full with school, college, work, hobbies, social life, and everything else daily life asks of us. We're not always available to open those threads immediately after an episode has aired, as much as we would like.

Opening a review thread is not mod-exclusive. In fact, everyone can do it. If (but only if) an episode has aired, and there's no eligible thread yet, feel free to open one. A few demands though:

- Make sure there's not a thread already.
- Preferably the opening post contains a link to the Bulbapedia page of the episode.
- Dub-threads only: add a request not to spoil any future events.

The only problem is that regular members can't stick threads. Stickying a thread means it will appear in the top row with the most important threads of the section. This isn't a huge problem, a thread only won't be as notable.

Us moderators will still make sure to open a thread as soon as possible, as long as our lives outside of the forums allow it. The same goes for stickying a thread. You can also always inform one of us anime moderators when there's no thread up yet or a thread needs to be stickied, but the same thing applies here: we have lives outside of the forums, and there's no guarantee we will be able to act right away.

We hope to have informed you enough,

~ the Anime staff.
