Now, I was talking to a friend, and they brought up the thought that if characters like Pluto are actually animals, what does that make Mickey, Goofy, etc.?
And they said that basically, they could be the Disney World performers in the furry costumes big suits.

That would allow not only the animals to be actual animals, but explains the existence of things like the cars, nuns, and other human inventions in A Goofy Movie (implying the existence of Mickey Christ).
Additionally, this also means that Kingdom Hearts makes a lot more sense from a anatomical perspective, since all sentient beings share the same basic body plan, then. Furthermore, this also allows Aerith and Goofy to have Max without any biological, moral, or legal issues. And it furthermore allows me to ship Sephiroth and Donald Duck without having to resort to ridiculous logic.

It’s not quite a thing, but not quite not. I made this up with a hazy memory of that joke, then searched it up with absolutely no knowledge of Kingdom Hearts, and was surprised when something actually showed up.
