Mafia Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Day 6 - BAD END - ENDGAME MAFIA WIN

Re: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Night 5 - Justice Lost

Phase over, update pending, but I might not be in the mood of updating the game today.

Re: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Night 5 - Justice Lost

this isn't so much me suspecting you as much as just wanting to clarify. I know I suspected harryhart too but why did you suspect and also vote him? Is it just cause of what he said about you?

No, I wouldn't vote someone because they questioned me. I had been suspicious of harryheart for these reasons:

Squall Leonhart said:
He's had no reads even though there'd been 15 pages at the time and overall seems to be trying hard to blend in, not taking any chances. And then there's you, harryheart, who I also think is suspicious for pretty much the same reasons.

and at an earlier time said:
harryheart is going with the flow too much-- looking like he's trying to blend in.

And then there was what Mijzelffan said, which just gave me more of a reason to vote him.

Flaze said:
Marius first voted for a no lynch, but then she switched to harryhart, this is weird cause at first she said that she would keep her no lynch until more people talked, then she just randomly jumped into the bandwagon for harryhart, citing that if he ended up being town they could just get someone else in the next phase. Except that no, we're now at a critical point where losing one more town member could end up making us lose the game overall. And it ended up being a mislynch no less.

You make good points about Marius (specifically the one I quoted here), although I disagree with your points about her asking Zunorai, since I don't think it's weird to question him not having any reads. There were more than enough pages to analyze.

@Marius; You don't have anything to say about his other points?

Re: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Night 5 - Justice Lost

I'm honestly not sure, to be honest. I keep getting accused of fence-sitting, but all I've been doing was trying to be more active while sticking to my usual playstyle. It's true that I don't like taking sides, because I'm always afraid I'll screw myself over and get mislynched, which would be a loss for me and the town, which I don't want to happen.

There's really no good, evidentiary answer for an accusation based on behavioral habits, because there's no way to prove or disprove what someone on the other side of a screen claims is going on inside their head. For all you know, I could be lying, and I wouldn't blame you for thinking so because that's how these games work. I do believe the behavior you guys are accusing me of was unconscious, and I'm sorry if I made you suspicious. ^.^

Also, either you have it wrong or I forgot to put this in there, but my 'No Lynch' vote was to wait until some evidence was brought forward, because I wasn't eager for a mislynch, especially one that occurred for next to no reason. Waiting seemed like the reasonable thing to do. The counterclaim seemed to be reason enough to remove it and vote harryheart.

@Flaze; @Squall Leonhart;

Re: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Night 5 - Justice Lost

Phase will be extended for another 24 hours, will end at 10pm gmt plus 1. You can change any actions you may have placed.

Re: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Night 5 - Justice Lost

Finally caught up.

So night 2 the strongman is active and rather than kill the cop they kill the ascetic because CF is such a larger threat. And no one had counter claimed cop and hey there was a miller so there must be a cop right. Like in bible mafia where I was godfather this by that logic there was a cop to counter me, named Mijz who turned out not to be cop and was actually a mafia traitor which thus by that logic one can assume that maybe there is no cop and that maybe Mijz is fake claiming again, because seriously living past night two with a strongman in the game. Yeah I doubt it. No to mention his refusal to state who he checked town on when that means nothing until godfather is dead and then conveniently being roleblocked. Not to mention the moment I subbed in he was trying to get my claim, though that wouldn't be that strange if not for how he seems so desparate in the PMs and I refused him saying I want to catch up first, so what does he do? Posts in thread saying I refuse to play, when he knew before anyone that I just lost my ceiling. For reference here are our PMs

Mijzelffan said:
hey ariana could you claim your role to me? your claim is the only one I don't have yet.
No because I don't know if I can trust you. I haven't gotten the chance to read the mafia at all and probably won't till tonight if I'm lucky or Monday.

I'm literally the confirmed cop with everyone's claim but yours.
And I want to wait till I read through the thread before I do anything. I just spent my day cleaning my house after my ceiling fell down. So sorry but I'm not doing anything till I get to read the thread, hopefully tonight.

He seems desparate and then the obvious lie in thread about me. Almost as if he feels threatened by me which he should. Look at the night kills. They are all people who supported Mijz. Oh and the case of Momoka-mafia will butt heads to look town. Also they will bus each other for practically no reason. So tell me what has he done to prove himself as town? Nothing. CF died the night she claimed to him as another note and she had a pretty good role.

And to tack on, Marius voting him but assuring him she would invite him after he spoke seems like mafia assuringb fellow mafia they weren't out to lynch them. And she hasn't done anything else, plus gibs died when votes were tied.

And lastly the way Squall was suspicious of anyone who doubted Mijzs cop claim is just strange.

And this last part correct me if I'm wrong, but Joltik hasn't spoken much so maybe she has been silenced and the way she was confirming what happened with Mijz and yato and Zima seemed like confusion. I know if I was real cop then I wouldn't tell the fake, and even if she isn't, the fact that its one f the inactives that conveniently counterclaimed HS is just strange. Again what if she is silenced thus making her an easy lynch.

The way you worded this was odd. It probably doesn't mean anything, but when you say it like that, it comes across as scummy.

There's really no good, evidentiary answer for an accusation based on behavioral habits, because there's no way to prove or disprove what someone on the other side of a screen claims is going on inside their head.

While yes that's true, that could be said for pretty much anything really.

Also, either you have it wrong or I forgot to put this in there, but my 'No Lynch' vote was to wait until some evidence was brought forward, because I wasn't eager for a mislynch, especially one that occurred for next to no reason. Waiting seemed like the reasonable thing to do.

Well instead of waiting for evidence, you could have looked back in the thread for something. Being rash and reckless is dangerous for the town, but just waiting and going with the flow isn't helping it either. All in all, your post didn’t clear up much for me or help your case.

Midorikawa said:
And lastly the way Squall was suspicious of anyone who doubted Mijzs cop claim is just strange.

He claimed cop and hadn't been counterclaimed- there was no reason for me not to trust him. So I was suspicious of everyone who doubted him, because it just seemed like an attempt to get everyone suspicious of him and hope he would get voted. Which would have been an easy to get the cop out.

Also they will bus each other for practically no reason.

I'm not sure where you're getting that. Why would they bus each other for no reason?

EDIT:

And this last part correct me if I'm wrong, but Joltik hasn't spoken much so maybe she has been silenced and the way she was confirming what happened with Mijz and yato and Zima seemed like confusion. Joltik has claimed bulletproof, which is what harryheart was. She pretty much has to be mafia, and even with the possibility of a silencer, I don't know why they would choose to keep silencing her. Also, I can't think of a character that would even be fit to be a silencer.

Re: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Night 5 - Justice Lost

I meant mafia will bus for little reason or actually to clear themselves. Also did Joltik claim that to you or just Mijz, which regardless I do t see either of you as town. There is the possibility of there being NO cop.

Re: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Night 5 - Justice Lost

Also did Joltik claim that to you or just Mijz, which regardless I do t see either of you as town. There is the possibility of there being NO cop.

She claimed to Mijzelffan.

We have to consider the fact that this is an Ace Attorney game. There are at least two characters left that I could see being the cop. Unless the mafia somehow knows everything, I don't know why they would assume the town has no cop, and then has one of them go out and claim cop in the open. It's too risky of a plan.

@Joltik; It would help if you spoke up on your claim or anything really?

Re: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Night 5 - Justice Lost

Well considering Mijz and Momo were butting heads then it's possible they were trying to Kure the real one out. Or maybe for all we know they already did and then killed them and tailored their role becaise really Momo's role seems like it would have been tailored. Strongman and rolecop are important roles for the mafia yet two in one? That means the moment that person dies they lose both. It doesn't make sense since its detrimental to them

Re: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Mafia - Night 5 - Justice Lost

I'm x1 buiietproof, maybe there are just more then one in the game? It could be a trick to make things harder for the town.

Day 6 - Bad End

It was time to give up. The end was to come sooner or later after letting the majority arrest Apollo Justice. Arresting justice was like destroying hope, so it was time for the end...

Phoenix Wright, ace attorney, had now disappeared forever.

Dear Squall Leonhart,

You are:

Phoenix Wright
160px-PhoenixWright-AA5.png
Objection!

The main protagonist of the whole series, you are a legendary lawyer who has caught many criminals and faced many hardships along the way. You are also the head of the Wright Agency. Eight years ago, you accidentally used falsified evidence, and thus had your lawyer's badge along with your job taken away from you. Just this year you were fortunately able to get your badge back after proving you were tricked into using said falsified evidence, and thus bringing you back to court defending. You believe trusting your client is the most important thing to do good in court, and that by working together you are more likely to win. You also possess the Magatama, which can tell you if somebody has a secret and how deep that secret is by the amount of invisible locks you see surrounding the person.

As you know how to defend yourself and your arguments very well in court, you are 1x Lynchproof. If you were to be lynched during the Day Phase, you would survive and thus still be able to play.

You are allied with Justice. To win you must defeat the Unjust.

Squall Leonhart was arrested. They were allied with Justice.

One person who outlived their stay was targeted to be arrested...

The newest lawyer in the Wright Agency, having just become one at the age of 18, you are considered to be a prodigy. You became a lawyer to help save a friend from prison, having studied hard abroad. Thanks to your studies in psychology, you were able to graduate earlier, and even develop a tool that senses the emotions somebody is feeling. Your energetic behaviour sometimes gets the best of you, and you try to stand up to yourself by not letting what others say bring you down.

With your ability to sense emotions, you are the Cop. You spend a whole night analysing what somebody feels to know whether they are Just or Unjust, and what they're doing as you now having legal access to do so. To use this ability, simply PM both hosts Cop Check: PLAYER during the Night Phase, were you will receive the result and thus know their alignment at the end of the phase.

You are allied with Justice. To win you must defeat the Unjust

Mijzelffan has been Vigilante Killed. They were allied with Justice.

The Unjust took their opportunity at the now almost empty courthouse and concluded that justice was served... when it really wasn't... Thus the two allied with Justice went home, but felt they didn't get the right ending.

Dear Flaze,

You are:

You are a prosecutor who has been arrested for murder. Despite this, you still have a job you can do as a prosecutor. You are expected to face your death sentence for having killed somebody around nine years ago. Even though you have confessed, it is not true that you killed anyone and are lying to protect who you think is the true culprit. You are cocky and can be very psychologically manipulative, which you use to your advantage in court to have things go your way, and if anyone is somehow trying to cheat, you use your pet hawk to set them straight to make things fair for you.

With how well you prosecute people, during the Night Phase, and only once, you can pick a player and remove them from the game by PMing both hosts Vigilante: PLAYER. With your pet hawk Taka you can also choose to protect somebody during the Night Phase from being killed by PMing both hosts Protect: PLAYER. Thus you are both a 1x Vigilante and 1x Doctor. You can not use both of these roles in the same night, meaning you can't pick somebody to kill and somebody to protect at the same time.

You are allied with Justice. To win you must defeat the Unjust.

Flaze has made it to endgame without fulfilling their win condition. They were allied with Justice.

Clay Terran cried at how his best friend was arrested, and maybe even to be executed...

Dear Midorikawa,

You are:

Clay Terran
150px-DaichiOA.png
"I'm fine!"

You are an aspiring astronaut working with the Cosmos Space Center and Apollo Justice's best friend. Recently, you were about to get launched to space in a rocket, finally achieving your dream, but a bombing unfortunately happened in that day and in the same day, your role model and mentor, Solomon Starbuck, was murdered during the explosion by somebody. You are a happy and upbeat person, who has found happiness with Apollo's motto "I'm fine!", having become best friends with Apollo by sharing your hardships. You were also defended and saved by Apollo in court after being accused of having murdered Solomon.

With your tough body and will to protect others in the risk of your own life, you are the Bodyguard. You can choose to protect somebody during the Night Phase if that player is targeted to be killed, you will die instead. To use this ability just PM both hosts Bodyguard: PLAYER during the Night Phase and that player will be protected.

You are allied with Justice. To win you must defeat the Unjust.

ZunoRai./Midorikawa has made it to endgame without fulfilling their win condition. They were allied with Justice.

The remaining villains were proud they could now walk free with no threats in their way...

Dear Joltik,

You are:

Ted Tonate
150px-Ted_Tonate.png

The murderer of Candice Arme and a bomb disposal specialist with a nearly obsessive passion towards your work, you are Ted Tonate, name coming from a rather nifty pun off “detonate.” You seem to have an undying love for bombs and the like, hence your job, considering that you seemed entranced by the beauty and power of the explosives you worked with. This, perhaps, is what lead to you beginning to sell bombs on the black market. In any case, you certainly seem to be adept with machinery and the like as well, not just bombs, as you had modified the police-assigned goggles to become what you wear now. Not to mention that you possess extremely keen hearing, shown when you saved people from being bombed in a courtroom simply because you had managed to hear the bomb ticking from your seat in the gallery.

Given your love and aptitude with bombs, when you are killed or lynched, you passively set off a bomb in retaliation. If killed at night, your killer will die with you, and if lynched, you may select one person that voted you to kill. That person may not be mafia, and you may set who you will kill along with you at any time by PMing both hosts with “Bomb Target: [Player].” However, if you fail to set a target, the person killed by the bomb will be selected randomly, although it will still not hit any of your partners.

Best of luck, and have fun!

You are allied with the Unjust. You win when you outnumber those allied with Justice.

Joltik has made it to endgame and fulfilled their win condition. They have won beating Justice!

Dear Zexy/Lysandre,

You are:

Florent L'Belle
200px-ShuuichiBiyouin.PNG

Aide to the mayor of Tenma Town, Damian Tenma. you are Florent L'Belle, an excessively narcissistic and flamboyant man. Despite your flamboyancy, confidence, and appearance saying otherwise, you are actually quite poor due to all the money you spent on advertising your beauty products, as you never did allow the public to buy any of your products. This led to an incredibly overwhelming need for money, which forced you to blackmail the mayor into merging Tenma Town with Nine-Tails Vale so that you could steal the gold hidden in Nine-Tails Vale to pay off your debts. As such, it's quite clear that you have nearly no morals and are incredibly selfish, which may lead to your demise.

You are a roleblocker. Every night, you may PM both posts with “Night X: Roleblock [Player],” and that player's action will not have any effect. This roleblock will block passive actions and will count against day actions as well, but will not prevent the player from voting.

Best of luck, and have fun!

You are allied with the Unjust. You win when you outnumber those allied with Justice.

Zexy/Lysandre has made it to endgame and fulfilled their win condition! They have won beating Justice!

Dear Marius,

You are:

Phantom.png

The Phantom

I don't remember what my face looks like, or even what my personality was like. My face, memories, personality, beliefs, emotions, and soul... I left them all behind. I have no "self." I am no one. I am nothing but an endless abyss.

Known only as an international spy that had been plaguing the nation for years, you are the phantom, the murderer of countless innocent people whom you likely killed simply to impersonate them. These guises, however, have inflicted ruin upon your life, as you can no longer remember who you used to be in the slightest, and it's gotten to the point where your one and only fear is of your identity being uncovered. That alone is rather notable, as it is one of your only lingering emotions due to the fact that you've lost nearly all semblance of emotional fluctuation after having to repeatedly hide them for your assignments.

Being that you can guise as anyone you desire and have evaded the police for numerous years, even faking evidence to assure that you are not caught, you are both a godfather and a framer. Upon being checked by a cop, you will appear to be allied with Justice. Those you frame, however, will appear to be allied with the Unjust for that night only, thus making a false positive. Your godfather ability is passive, but as for your framing, you must send a PM to both hosts dictating who you wish to frame, preferably in the format of “Night X: Frame [Player].”

Best of luck, and have fun!

You are allied with the Unjust. You win when you outnumber those allied with the Justice.

Marius has made it to endgame and fulfilled their win condition! They have won beating Justice!

GAME OVER - MAFIA WIN
CONGRATULATIONS MARIUS, JOLTIK, ZEXY, MOMOKA AND LYSANDRE

harryheart had the hidden ability that if Clay Terran died, they would gain an extra life that even if the Strongman targeted them they wouldn't kill them, just removing their extra life.

Questions:

1. Did you enjoy the game?

2. Did you think the roles were balanced?

3. Whose FT did you enjoy reading the most?

4. Where do you think we can improve?

5. Do you want a rating of your play in the game?

6. What rating would you give this game overall?

YES!

Wow, a Vig Doctor... well, we had Godfather Framer and Strongman Rolecop, should have expected a similar crazy thing :)
I am amazed that our little Joltik did not get vig-killed... but suspecting Mijz at the last moment did the trick xD

1. Definitely! bwahahahahaha

2. I think they were, Town had lots of things to go with. You don't get Ascetics, Bodyguards and Roleblockers in most games. Not having a Rolecop around during my stay may have made me think so, though.

3. I have not read them all consistently, because of being a sub :(

4. The hosting was good. Thanks!

5. Wow, I have never seen this question before from a host. I don't think asking for one will change much, scum won :)

6. 9/10. Hosting and roles were good, but I don't want to give it a 10 just because I won, it ended up a bit one-sided after all.

WOW. YAY WE DID IT GUYS!

1. Did you enjoy the game?
Yes it was very fun and I love being mafia.

2. Did you think the roles were balanced?
Mafia may have been a little teensy bit OP.

3. Whose FT did you enjoy reading the most?
The magician girl? Trucy? I liked hers.

4. Where do you think we can improve?
I think it was a great game all on its own, and I really like my role, but I do think Mafia was just a smidge OP.

5. Do you want a rating of your play in the game?
Yes please.

6. What rating would you give this game overall?
9/10

Good work, mafia! I'm glad to see we won. Town was doing pretty well too, although the decision to kill the cop was a little odd. XD Thanks for hosting, Human and III!

Did you enjoy the game?
Yes! The game was very enjoyable and I had fun while I was in the game.

Did you think the roles were balanced?
I think they were.

Whose FT did you enjoy reading the most?
I'd need to go back and reread all the FT, I admit I missed reading some for the phases where I was out.

Where do you think we can improve?
Mm, I can't think of anything!

Do you want a rating of your play in the game?
Yeah, that'd be interesting to see.

What rating would you give this game overall?
8/10. There were a few players that could have been more active.

by the way i hate to bring this up since it finished a while back but my vote on gliscorman wasn't a revenge vote i was tired that day and knew i was going to be out before the phase was over and i couldn't think of anyone else to vote to tie the votes

@Zexy; we were going after Joltik originally actually, and if Ihad we still would've lost anyway now that I think about it, if only I was surer of my suspicion of Marius it would've worked better.

1. Did you enjoy the game?
I really liked it, I wish I could've been a lot more active from the start and that I could've paid more attention to things.

2. Did you think the roles were balanced?
Hmmmmm....I'm not quite sure there to be honest, I think both sides had enough powers that countered each other out, but I do think mafia may have had a little more in their favor

3. Whose FT did you enjoy reading the most?
The Apollo one was really sad xD

4. Where do you think we can improve?
Hmmm, I´m not quite sure, I think the game was pretty good in it's own right, plus I also think it was handled pretty well.

5. Do you want a rating of your play in the game?
Yes please.

6. What rating would you give this game overall?
9/10

HumanDawn, can I change my answer to question 5 to a yes?
I would like to see how would you rate us on our plays.
