I was reading through the shipping confessions thread and someone just called us AdvanceShippers obnoxious and arrogant and called our thread a huge joke compared to Serebii's. I'm slightly offended by the comment but, guys, please don't go over there and flame. I don't want any of you getting infracted. Sorry, I just needed to get that out of my system...again. I get easily offended, just thought I should let you guys know. Gosh...I feel like a messenger of bad news...XD

On-topic:
If Ash proposes to May when (like a special date)and where will he do it?

He might propose to May while they are on Cerulean Cape (Its in Cerulean City and legend states that if you come here you'll find true love...At least I'm pretty sure that's what it says XD)while May is visiting Ash after they have been going steady for a couple of years.

Wow, I've been using XD alot lately haven't I?

TBH Serebii's thread is better. Just because it's not active like this thread doesn't mean it's crap. That thread ,as I remember it, was active as hell before. Now it's calm over there and almost everybody follows the rules. Here it's really active and wild, the exact opposite of Serebii's thread. Some of the posts were spammy. And hell I'll even admit I did spam a bit in this thread. My posts weren't that constructive or anything but spam. I'm not even offended cause almost everything *insert name of person here* said was true.

I remember answering this a while back. I have an affinity to video game music, and if the song has lyrics and implicates romance in any way, I see if I can match it with a particular ship. So far, "Back In Time" from the Sonic R soundtrack (url is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jles_BMgynE) fits the most to Advanceshipping, imo. Specifically, it fits when May is traveling alone in Johto while Ash in Sinnoh - the lyrics are meant to portray May as if she was bored traveling in Johto, and would much rather start traveling with Ash once more. I had planned to make an AMV out of this even.

Back in Time is the one that I affiliate Advanceshipping to the most - nothing else in my library compares, really.

I think Cross My Heart by S Club 7 would be good for Advanceshipping, since the lyrics portray how May leaves for Johto but she still cares for Ash and that she'll come back to him someday...typical romance. ^^

It's "how strong are you now", it's about a girl who leaves a guy. The guy is all fine when she leaves and shows no emotion, even though the girl kinda did. Then when she's actually gone, he falls apart and is horibly sad... =( It has Ash writen all over it!... Don't you think? I mean the emotion he showed when May left! You could tell how badly he missed her when she returned...
