First and formost, I am not an artist. I doodle every month or so. Yeah, and those doodles are about a square inch. But lately I have been trying to draw my FB team. Yeah, and my mom was watching once and said for me to draw bigger. The picture turned out great and became my first official "drawing", yes.

So, I have drawn two other pictures since then, large breaks in between and no practice really.

So, here is my artsy fartsy junk so far.

Bo, my tangela:

Wallace Q. Oxenfree, my spinda:

Batteries, my magnemite:

So, look and critique or whatever they say for art.

I think these actually look really good... They're not refined artworks, but these Pokémon show a lot of personality, and I really like that ;)

Hey, someone finally noticed!

Heh, yep unrefined. I don't how to refine it really. I don't draw to try to ink it so I could colour it in photoshop or something, also it is too late given as I coloured some in with pencil. Not a professional you see? And I am not artist enough to use computers or whatever they use to draw.

I am glad I managed to show personality, cause that is really the whole point of the pictures. And I managed! Nice.

I happened to have drawn some more pictures if anyone is curious to see more.

Wobbelina "Lina" the wynaut: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40000231/?qo=1&q=by:zazar&qh=sort:time+-in:scraps

Emotone, hanged in the sky:

Yeah, also drawing my last team member and I inspired by some news I have heard about DP. So, I'll have some more pictures later maybe.

Aww, I just love this new Emotone picture... okay, I'm partial to Lunatones, but I found this one somewhat cute. A morbid way of cute, of course... can't really explain, but I like it ^^

I can suggest you a way to refine your pictures directly with the computer, no need to ink them since your pencil lineart is not messy or dirty. You'd just have to play around with the levels of brightness and contrast of the image, and it would look just as good as an inked one. I guess most programs can do that, even the free ones, not only Photoshop.
Anyway, never say things like "I'm not artist enough"... I think that everyone who enjoys drawing may have the potential to become a good artist :)
(and this is coming from a mediocre one...)

Heh, I actually do have photoshop. Somehow.

Wish I could find some tutorial, but I guess I can try out on some of the easier pictures to refine. Although, usually, it just makes folds and eraser marks stand out. I'll try though, maybe with my future pictures.

Thanks for the compliment.
