With the information that May will be doing contests, It seems very unlikely that the BF will end by November. I'd personally die of shock if the writers were able to cram 7 battle frontier challenges plus X number of pokemon contests and a Grand Festival into only 20 something episodes.

Haruka is doing contests in Kanto because it's quite obvious that the writers plan to keep her for a long time. They wouldn't go as far to create Contests for her to battle in for no reason at all.

Whenever the D/P region starts, I'm pretty sure Ash and May will be done again with their respective leagues.

Pokemon D/P have just been confirmed to be coming out in 2006.

So yeah, I guess they will have time for May's contests now.

They could always use that time to extend the Battle Frontier, but never mind. One thing they could have is a Contest symbol - which would mean only one contest in the saga. But with seven Battle areas, fillers, and contest episodes, they will still be a bit pushed for time. It really depends on when next year it is released.

Well, FireRed/LeafGreen already hinted that there were Contests in Kanto that we just couldn't participate in. Unless Daisy Oak travels a heckuva long way to get to competitions on a regular basis.

Maybe well have a fast paced saga with few fillers ^_^. That would be awesome.

From the translation is seems that Noland really does battle with Articuno.

This week they aired movie 7 in the run-up to movie 8's release tomorrow. Has it aired on Japanese TV before? It's interesting that it is at the point America is at now, and the movie aired on American TV 6 months ago.

Pretty sure it hasn't. It's only half a year since the DVD release, airing it earlier wouldn't be good for the sales. Also, it's a tradition to air the previous Pocket Monsters movie right before the premiere of a new one.
