So either this is filler, or it is Battle Pike Part Two. The orienteering would fit, but the title of the last episode sounds like the battle is then.

I wonder who Ash, May and Brock will race on this time. Brock doesn't have Onix anymore. May really has nothing she can ride on. Ash could possibly call his Bayleef to race on again like he did before...but eh.

You mean never. None of the 4th gen Pokemon will evolve. That would defeat the whole purpose of them being on the main characters team in the first place. Why would they turn new Pokemon back into old Pokemon again? That makes no sense.

In a few years, once the D/P hype is over, a Sudowoodo would be a good Pokémon for Brock.

Trekking, basically. Finding your way through some unfamilliar place - often woods or mountains - using only a Map/Compass etc.

In this case, it'd probably be Pokemon.
