AG171, 172 - ポケモンレンジャー！デオキシス・クライシス！！Pokémon Ranger! Deoxys Crisis
サトシたちは、山岳地帯でオーロラを目撃するが、同時にポケモンたちに異変が起き、モンスターボールが使用不能になってしまう！異常事態を解決すべく、ポケモンレンジャーのヒナタがやってくるが、そこにデオキシスが現れた！
At the same time Satoshi-tachi witness an aurora over a mountain region, the Monster Balls containing everyone's Pokémon become unusable! (unsure about this past sentence) As Pokémon Ranger Hinata turned up trying to solve the unusual situation, there Deoxys appeared!

AG173 - ウソッキー！黄金伝説！？ Usokkie! Gold Legend!?
森の中でキラキラと輝く黄金のウソッキーに出くわしたサトシたち。あまりの珍しさにゲットを狙うサトシだったが、結局逃げられてしまう。近くの食堂に立ち寄ったサトシたちがその話をすると、目の色を変えた男たちが「ウソッキーの場所を教えろ」と迫ってきて…。
In the middle of a forest, Satoshi-tachi come across a glittering golden Usokkie (Sudowoodo). (Something about Satoshi catching it but letting it go, not sure). When Satoshi-tachi stop by a nearby cafeteria to tell their story, (men who changed eye color..."Teach Usokkie's location"...draw near)

５つ目のリボンゲットをめざし、カジノキのポケモンコンテストに出場したハルカ。すでにグランドフェスティバルへの出場を決めたライバルのハーリーにプレッシャーをかけられ、どうしても負けられないハルカは猛特訓を開始する。
Aiming to get her fifth ribbon, Haruka participated in the Kajinoki Pokémon Contest. (Already...decided to appear at the Grand Festival...Rival Harley...pressure...Haruka starts to train hard not to lose by any means)

ハーリーとロケット団の妨害にも負けず、ハルカはコンテストの１次予選通過を決めた。しかし、それでもハーリーたちの妨害工作はとどまるところを知らない。
(Disturbance of Harley and Team Rocket...Haruka decided first qualifying round...However...Harley-tachi's sabotage...place it stops...uknown)

Of course, better translations would be appreciated, but at least you all (hopefully) have an idea of what the next five episodes are about.

Sudowoodo is a pokemon that demands the best animation team. Those gifs people post with Brock totally prove it.

It's always good to see Ash or May training. Perhaps Eevee will learn a move that would be good for appeals (I won't give up on Moonlight yet). Squirtle has done the appeals so many times, I'd actually like to see it take the battle portion again.

By the last one, I think Harley's desperate for May to NOT make it in the Grand Festival (because of his humiliation last time), so he joins up temporarily to make sure she doesn't get the last ribbon.

How did you manage to type those Kanji? Was the text somewhere on the internet?

I used Jim Breen's Multiradical Kanji lookup combined with search results on this site for words containing Kanji I already knew. Although, there were a few points where I was about ready to give up and wait for NewType to update their website.

Harley hates May's guts, it's not just that he finally got his win. If this is indeed the final Contest given in Kanto, Harley is going out of his way to help Jessie beat May, to prevent her from entering the GF.

At least we know Harley isn't going to turn into a nice guy.
