Full priced video remakes should not be a thing anymore. Ports, collections and sequels are all we need

Disagree. What should end is low-effort remakes being sold for full-price. Major remakes such as Final Fantasy VII are perfectly valid and honestly probably deserve full-price (even if full-price should be lower than it is). It's remakes that're mostly just graphical reworks without actually making significant changes to the game itself that should be cheaper than full-price, not even stopped as a concept just cheaper.

2D animation tends to look better than 3D.
