Well, that bit of "continuity" simply happened because they still had the Sun/Moon frames in easy access and no one wanted to draw an entire newspaper.And people complain about the lack of continuity lol
In Japan/Kanto newpapers are read from right-to-left.Oddly enough they did seem to flip which page was which on the newspaper.
