Hello there,

Not finding a thread about this, I created one.

I did so because, in my understanding, the Mankey from SS015 are colored differently.

They have, above their eyes, little grey spots that normal mankeys do not have. However did not find it in the official bulbapedia list as an alternately colored pokémon.

The topic, of course, is up to debate!

Would be nice to see him again, was rather disappointed we didn't see his Shiny Swinub or Slakoth as we haven't seen a normal Swinub or Slakoth in the anime for a while
I rather have the anime follow his goal than Go's to be honest. I only put shiny in Poke Home. And I really feel a little bit like him. I want a pokédex only filled with them. Therefore, I really, really hope he does not get thrown into a character that we saw once. And only once.

I'm going to admit it: I effing hate shiny Pokemon especially in the context of the anime. I've never found them to be interesting or cool or anything special so whenever one shows up I just roll my eyes. What annoys me the most is when people debate about whether a differently colored Pokemon is meant to be shiny, like that Gengar that people were arguing over because some people actually believe it's a shiny just because it's a shade lighter than past Gengars.

Shiny pokemon are like lobsters. We do have them in real life. Makes sense to have them. You have half colored lobsters. Shiny pokémon are one of the most real things about pokémon. Do not undestand the hate honestly.
