California AG Xavier Becerra has been chosen as the next Secretary of Health and Human Services.
I think he's the first Latino to serve in this position if confirmed, also he was picked because of his help passing the ACA and leading its defense in California. Yay for more diversity in the cabinet.

Also, Biden officially announced Dr. Anthony Fauci to lead as Chief Medical Advisor.

I don't know if the Senate will even confirm Biden's cabinet picks, as I expect it to stay in Republican hands.

While I really hope that both Georgia runoffs go to the Democrats so we can strip Mitch McConnel of the power he does not deserve, I hope at least one goes blue because there are senators Joe Biden might be able to convince to agree, like Lisa Murkowski or Mitt Romney, who are among the few Republicans in DC to acknowledge him as President-Elect. Then with 50, Kamala Harris can be the tiebreaker.

Biden's not stupid. He and his team have probably gamed all of this out before making his selections.

There's at least 25 Republicans who have acknowledged Biden's win, to be honest I think they're also sick and tired of this stupid thing and they'll probably confirm the picks to just get back to work as soon as possible. It's extremely likely that Mitt Romney will probably vote for the picks since he's one of few Republicans to have sense during the past four years so holding my breath for the other 24 to go with him.

Is this the plot of some South Park episode or something? Things have been getting pretty ridiculous.

Well, depending on the madness and how it'll get in my head, I might have to break-in to a Build-a-Bear's even if my handiwork would probably be really shitty. Can't say no when one of the 'bears' is a sharky.

Hopefully you're right. I really do.

Because right now it seems that the GOP has no intention of getting rid of one-term Donny. Instead, they're allowing the complete hijacking of their party by the MAGA fanatics.

When will the undemocratic and traitorous GOP just give it up. Trump LOST. There is ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE of mass voter fraud. Mail-in/absentee ballots are perfectly legal and have never been an issue until now. It wasn't even close. The will of the American people was 4 years of Joe Biden, not 4 more years of Trump. The actions of the GOP have reached new lows. This is not how an election works. I don't even think they pulled this shit when George H. W. Bush lost. GOP led states pushing to sue states Biden flipped so they can block electors is sickening. This is why I despise the GOP.

When Trump himself admits he lost. Which means never.

GOP politicians will continue to bend over to him as long as they are terrified of how much control he has over the MAGA zealots.

The next four years we will see how many Republicans will be willing to enter the primary race against Trump. (Spoilers: They'll all end up like Jeb!)

The Republican party is the Trump party.

Yeah. Luckily for us, most of their anti-Democracy maneuvers have been laughed out of court, with even Trump's own appointees not supporting the President. Disputing this election for far too long will actually result in Nancy Pelosi taking the office of President.

Me, I despise the GOP mostly because of their blatantly immoral beliefs and policies. It then follows that a party supporting such immorality might also be one of hypocrisy and cheating, and indeed that rings true.

Four years ago (and ever since) we never heard the end of the fact that Trump won. "He won, you lost. Get over it.", "This is democracy/the will of the people", "He is YOUR president". (You know despite the fact that... the people did not actually vote for Trump, the electoral college did.)

Surprise, that exact same group of people that said all of that is now throwing one of the largest temper tantrums in all of recent US history that their candidate lost. Is anyone actually surprised? The party of hypocrisy is being hypocrites as per usual.

Yeah. Democrats gave them a taste of their own medicine, and they are not happy.

Get ready everyone for Trump's next big tantrum. I thought this was gonna go to Dr. Anthony Fauci, but at least they awarded him Guardian of The Year. Either way, I'm happy. Its gonna piss off Trump so much. At this point we're just rubbing salt in Trump's wounds lmao.
