This is absolutely the Watergate scandal of our generation, and it needs to be treated even more severely than that was taken. I honestly think impeachment hearings should start again. Trump is not getting impeached, as he'll be out of office in the next 15 days.
 
Hoping this holds. If Rev. Warnock and Jon Ossof can win, Mitch McConnel loses power and Joe Biden will have an easier time undoing all the damage Trump has done.
 
The Dems are over performing by as much as a percent over what was forecast in some areas. Not. Going to get TOO comfortable, but it’s looking good.
 
This comes as Perdue and Loeffler are leading in the votes.
 
I think that it's possible that only Warnock wins of the two, while Ossoff still loses to Perdue.
 
Big vote drop from DeKalb County puts Warnock back in the lead, Ossoff within 2500 votes.

Edit: Decision Desk HQ has called it for Warnock.
 
Warnock seemed to have a significant lead so this isnt too surprising. Ossoff vs Purdue seems like it will be a closer race.
 
Hoping Jon Ossof can somehow reclaim the lead. We need both to win so we can strip Mitch McConnel of the power he does not deserve. Even if we get a 49-51 split and Joe Biden can convince any Republicans to vote yes for a bill, Mitch McConnel can block anything he wants, and he is gonna make it a personal mission to not give Biden a chance to accomplish anything significant. He's not even gonna let the Democrats get in a position where Kamala Harris can break the tie.

Still no word for Jon Ossof, but I hear Dekalb County still has 19K votes to count, and they've been leaning largely Democrat.

Edit: Jon Ossof now leads by nearly 10K votes. If this holds, we did it! Mitch McConnel's reign of terror on the Senate has ended for the time being and Joe Biden will have an easier time undoing the damage Trump has done! 2021 is coming in strong!

Just the fact that the Senate will no longer be outright blocking almost every bill passed by the House will be a huge deal. Now the Republican senators will have to actually vote for or against them (and they're far from a united front). They can't hide behind McConnel anymore.

Oh, and go fuck yourself McConnel too, you necrotic turtle. This is what you get for kissing Trump's ass for 4 years.
