Anabel & Snorlax debut in Poké Fair scout, alongside new Challenge the Hope of Kalos Extreme Battle Event, and a 5★-Select Special Scout

Continuing on from the launch of the final part of the Kalos Chapter of Villain Arc earlier this week, a brand new Extreme Battle event, Challenge the Hope of Kalos, has now begun in Pokémon Masters EX. This event will be running through to March 5th. Also running alongside this new event are a one-time only 5★-Select Special Scout, and the Poke Fair Scout for Anabel & Snorlax that was previously announced.

Anabel & Snorlax Poké Fair Scout
Anabel & Snorlax are making their Pokémon Masters EX Debut in a limited-time Poké Fair Scout. This pair has an expanded sync grid, as well as the ability to be raised to 6★ EX. Raising the pair to 6★ changes Anabel's outfit to match Snorlax's palette.

Anabel & Snorlax are a Fair-Exclusive Normal-type Support sync pair. The pair's moves center primarily on placing defensive field effects and buffs for their allies with a variety of limited-use moves. The single use Requesting Backup! move for example allows them to place down the Critical-Hit Defense, Status Condition Defense, and Special Damage Reduction field effects, while also raising their Attack stat by 2 stat ranks. The pair can use the move a second time after Gigantamaxing and using their G-Max Replenish move, which restores 1 MP for all their moves. Extreme Battle Event: Challenge the Hope of Kalos
Players will face off against Serena and Calem in this latest Extreme Battle. Sync Pairs from Kalos in player's teams will receive boosts to their Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense, with this strength bonus increasing with difficulty level.

In addition to the areas available from the beginning of the event, two additional areas will be added for players to challenge on February 16th, at 10:00pm (PST).

Players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier to participate in this event. This event will run until March 5th, at 9:59pm (PST).

5★-Select Special Scout:
Running alongside this Extreme Battle Event is a 5★-Select Special Scout. By spending 3,000 paid gems, players will be able to receive an 11x Scout, as well as an additional bonus selection of a 5★ Sync Pair from a limited pool. This scout can be performed only once during the scouting period.

This scout can be completed any time before February 27th, at 9:59pm (PST).
