Ghost in the Shell SAC 2045 is up on Netflix today... however it's just the Japanese track only and the other foreign dubs seem to be delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. However despite this there are still English dub credits for each episode except for Episode 7 (meaning this would have been recorded before the lockdown) and fans will be pleased to see that everyone is back and I'm not talking about just McGlynn, Epcar, Freeman and Knight but also the likes of Michael McCarty, Dave Wittenberg, Dean Wein and even Bob Buchholz too.

Studio WIT's Great Pretender is on the way soon with it debuting next month in Japan on Netflix and on the very day of my birthday, June 2nd 2020 ahead of it's TV debut on July 8th and it's already got a dubbing studio that will be doing the dub: NYAV Post. This will definitely be a fun one, can't wait to see who gets cast in this one.

Cardcaptor Sakura is up on Netflix.

It's the Animax/Hong Kong dub to no one's surprise.

In a surprising turn of events for Aniplex, the Persona 5 anime series' home media release will be getting an English dub recorded at the studio used for the game PCB Productions with Keith Arem voice directing (Valerie Arem voice directed the game and the dub for Persona 4 The Animation was done at Bang-Zoom with PCB used for casting) and the main VA's reprising their roles. Aniplex being Aniplex though is charging you $300 for the whole set.

Masaaki Yasua's latest series Japan Sinks 2020 is now up on Netflix. The dub is recorded at VSI Los Angeles with Samantha Daniel (she appeared in one or two Pokemon XY episodes and has done some stuff for live action dubs) voice directing. Nice and varied cast for this one too with the likes of Keith Silverstein, Faye Mata, Ryan Barltey, Jamieson Price, Barbara Goodson and even Cathy Cavadini too.

This release features not only the new dub produced by NYAV Post and voice directed by Carrie Keranen (same voice director for the Evangelion redub) but also the original dub recorded in Canada by Ocean Productions which is exclusive to this set.

In other NYAV related news, the next Netflix series they'll be working on is the 4 episode CG sci-fi series Eden which will be released soon in the fall.

And in even more news (albeit a bit late on this one) the theatrical screenings of Children of the Sea that was meant to have been this month on August 11 and 13th have been cancelled and the movie will now be going straight to home media and digital next month on September 1st.
