Is the giant ad taking up way too much space to the point where I want to use a different wiki also an april fools day event, or do you guys just need money

You might say it was an April Fools prank that was played on us. The publisher of the game made arrangements for that ad space, and we only found out about it ourselves on March 30th. I don't believe they have long left on that ad placement at this point though.

When full skin ads like this are shown on Bulbapedia (which has been rare, this is actually only the second time it's happened - the first was when an ad was purchased for the launch of the indie game Iconoclasts), almost all other ads on the wiki are removed while that full skin ad is up, so it's a trade-off we're generally fine with (since it means there's basically no ads getting in the way of actual page content).

But I did get the General Sales Manager involved at one point. He still hasn’t figured out I was behind the duck and cover operation.
