Welcome to my random thoughts.

Why does no one like Dewgong?
Idea for some sort of Pokemon game where you start with any base form Pokemon of choice
The ultimate Pokemon game, completely open world, region biggest ever, as big as a real country, say England or Greece sized
Character completely customizable
Gyms all over the place for every type, 18 gyms
Rivals
Gou - Starter is Scorbunny
Ash - Starter is Pikachu
Cheryl - Starter is Munchlax
Marlon - Starter is Mantyke
Serena - Starter is Eevee
Mallow - Starter is Bounsweet
Their teams are not limited to one type for Mallow and Marlon
Battle System
This will completely change. Stats and abilities remain basically the same, except for the fact that HP is no longer considered a simple stat, but an entirely different property; It is fixed no matter the EV or IV investment. The way battles work is that you are the Pokemon in battles, and the four buttons of the controller in use (i.e. X, Y, B, A on Nintendos and Xboxes) are the four moves in use. They are more similar to anime battles, as you can move anyhow, it's no longer very turn based.
New stat spread too.
Let me paint the picture of my game's Ash's Pikachu in this game:
126655

Ash's Pikachu to be Alolan Raichu for no reason
Type: Electric/Psychic
Amigo Assault: 10-Million Volt Thunderbolt (Get to that too)
Hit Point Count: 217 > 300
Attack: 105 > 393
Defense: 87 > 104
Special Attack: 134 > 421
Special Defense: 79 > 98
Speed: 178 > 476
Starting Moveset
X: Thunder Shock
Y: Quick Attack
A: Tail Whip
B: Electro Ball
Has a regular level up and TM set as a Pikachu
Amigo Assaults
Basically a combination of Z-moves and Sync Moves. You get to create a move that you and your Starter Pokemon perform, which is incredibly powerful. Every Amigo Assault is unique.

I like psychic types

But those are smol countries. Smoooool. If you're makin' the ultimate Pokemon game, you better go big or go home.

Yes yes yes.
The way battles work is that you are the Pokemon in battles, and the four buttons of the controller in use (i.e. X, Y, B, A on Nintendos and Xboxes) are the four moves in use. They are more similar to anime battles, as you can move anyhow, it's no longer very turn based.
While I wouldn't like it if the main series games changed to this style of battling, realistic anime-esque battles have been on my radar for a long time as I think it'd be pretty neat to battle as the Pokemon. And, while enjoyable, PMD's battles just don't cut it.

I've always wondered how to implement one move per button--I forgot that we have more than two buttons on the DS/Switch. I could see the bumpers or whatever they're called (the large buttons on the side, I think they're referred to as the z buttons on the Switch) being used for items like Potions or X-Defenses etc.
This is a fantastic name for a Duraludon.
