Welcome to the Assist Club! Seattle Tech is a school with six leading branches: Science, Social Studies, Culinary, Art, Language, and Athletics. The campus is large, and it is a prestigious school only few get into. To get accepted, one must take a test to see if their intelligence up to par, as the school itself has an outstanding academic program aside from the main branches. On top of this, there are various events that occur during the year that each student can participate in. From dances to large scale fundraisers, there is always something going on at Seattle Tech.

Each student who attends ultimately decides what branch they want to focus their studies on, and from there, chooses which part of the branch they want to specify in. For example, if one were to join the Arts Branch, they would have the option to focus on acting, painting, singing, or anything that the school has to offer in regards to art.

The school also offers the opportunity to create clubs. Recently, one of the students from the Science Branch decided to take inspiration from her cousin, and chose to create the Assist Club. As the name suggests, any student who joins will help others throughout the school with any issues that arise. What will happen to this club is unknown, as it was only just created.

How this will work is that your OC joins, and then just does various tasks with the club. It's a slice of life roleplay, and it is mostly focused on character. It's a fun time, and it just works well!

Appearance: Ashlyn is 5'4", with slightly tanned skin and long, black hair that reaches to her mid back. She is Chinese American, and her appearance shows that. Her body his quite slim and fit. Her ears are pierced multiple times, and she wears a different cuff each day on her left ear. Her clothing consists of pretty dresses and casual skirts. Ashlyn also enjoys wearing makeup, which mostly consists of eye liner and some eyebrow pencil. She loves to wear yoga pants whenever she is dressing casual, and is almost always seen with a frappuccino from Starbucks.

Personality: A very bright person with a good head on her shoulders. She's gifted in speaking to people, and she has a strong desire to help everyone she meets. She has a short temper, and can be a bit overwhelming at times, but she is an overall nice person. Ashlyn can also come off as a bit full of herself, her abilities, and her strength.

History: Ashlyn has two parents and three younger brothers. For most of her life, she lived near New York City, but soon moved when she became a junior in high school. She gets along well with her cousin, as she was actually the inspiration for the Assist Club at Seattle Tech. She can drive, has a job at a local retail store, and leads a pretty typical life. She's a skilled ice skater, and she loves to practice this in her free time. After her father brought home an electronics kit back when she was in middle school, she gained a definite interest in that topic. Ever since then, she's been dedicated to becoming an electrical engineer. Despite her knowledge in this type of math, she isn't too bright in any other school topics.

Appearance: Ryuusei has short red that is shorter in the front, and reaches the end of her neck in the back. Her eyes are hazel in color and she stands tall at six feet. She dresses boyish and has a deeper voice. Overall unless you actually know her, everyone assumes she’s a guy.

Personality: Ryuusei is cheerful and loves to do exciting things. She especially loves soccer and hopes to be a soccer player in the future. She is protective of those she cares about, and has no issues talking about herself or her past. She doesn’t care when she’s mistaken for a guy, and merely shrugs it off.

History: Ryuusei was born to two Italian parents. At eight they went to Japan to visit some friends. Her parents died in a car accident, so one of their friends took her in as she had no family. From there she lived in Japan until she was fifteen, moving with her adoptive father to the US.

Other: She speaks Italian, Japanese, and English fluently. She is the best soccer player at the school. She has a heart condition. Birthday-August 3rd.

Appearance: Mikey is of just under average height and has a thin, slight build. His dark brown hair is neatly combed and he is always put together in terms of attire. He wears a pair of thin rectangle frame glasses that cover his light blue eyes. He is otherwise unremarkable.

Personality: Michael is a nice guy. That is the first thing people notice about him. He is simply genuinely nice, never having a mean thing to say about anyone. He also tries his best to cheer people up if they are down. He's also a bit of a quirky goof, he not exactly being 'normal' in terms of his hobbies. He would much rather play strategy computer games or read history texts then go to a concert or watch a football game.

History: Michael has the pretty typical American life, growing up in the suburbs at a nice house with a lawn and a white picket fence. He was lucky to grow up in a small but loving family, his father is a computer programmer with a stable job and his mother works as the manager at a bank. He has a younger sister Heather and the family has two huskies Kemba and Allen.

Appearance
Unkempt brown hair with a general look of serenity in his sapphire blue eyes would be the most prominent thing about him. Despite his typically aloof attitude, he does care about his appearance, though he typically disregards his hair with the excuse that it "takes too long". He forgoes wearing glasses, though only because they don't help him much when he's typing on a computer screen. He is 5'08" in height with a thin body type.

Personality
Aloof and calm; he is known for his general disregard for most things not pertaining to the topic at hand. This, compounded with his bluntness and very technically-minded literalness, gives off the aura of unpleasantness. He is well aware of that fact and actively works to better himself; this includes trying to make awkward small talk with those around him.

History
Kylan grew up fascinated by computers from a young age, as is the story of many techies. His mother was very supportive of his interests, getting various computers for him to tinker around with from her job as a network technician. His father passed away when he was younger, though he was left with his dozens of journals, which Kylan reads on his off-time. He has an older sister, Kim, currently working as in forensics.

Appearance: Avery has shoulder length brown hair and skin that is not super dark, but not super light, more like a dark tan. His eyes are blue and he stands at 5'9''. He usually wears a variety of comfortable clothes and hearing aids.

Personality:Avery is sociable when he knows what's going on, and is open. However he is also sensitive about deafness. Outside of that he is calm and tries to think things out. He is also kind and caring, but also tries to fit in.
History: Avery was born in NY. He was born deaf, with a hearing aid only working for his left ear, allowing him to hear ambient sounds. He went to a deaf school all his life until they recently moved to Seattle for his father's work. He then decided to attend a hearing school as his sister decided to as well.
Other: June 10th. He has a twin sister. He is fluent in english and sign language and can read lips well. His sister knows sign language too.

Appearance: Connor has fair skin, stands at 6'2" and weighs 230 pounds. Most of him is solid, toned muscle from playing football. He has strawberry blonde hair, green eyes, and a neatly trimmed mustache. When not playing football, he wears a pair of black glasses with amber tint and typically wears polos and matching pants.
Personality: Connor, despite his outward appearance and role as an aggressive power running back on the football team, is actually a very antisocial and quiet person who puts his all into everything he does. His aggressive side is normally reserved for the football field, but he has several berserk buttons that someone is always trying to push. Namely, questioning his sexuality, making fun of him for being one of few left-handed people, and messing with the few friends he has may earn you an absolute wrecker of a left hook, or worse, him putting a lot of effort into sending you to the hospital. He is by no means a hostile person, but he isn't willing to take anything from anyone. As selfless as he is, he's more than likely going to go out of his way for the sake of someone else, often at his own expense.
History: Connor comes from a family of athletes. His father coaches football, his older brother plays football, his mother played tennis and his younger sister is an aspiring cheerleader. They all push each other to become better athletes and better people in society.
Other: Connor is learning to speak Latin, French and Japanese. He also has Aspergers Syndrome. His birthday is August 9th.

Appearance: Milo has long brown hair that is usually messy, but always soft and clean. Her eyes are blueish gray, and she has a very pale complexion despite loving the outdoors. There's a bridge of freckles across her nose and she carries her guitar everywhere. She's not very well muscled and is fairly thin. She's been mocked as having an eating disorder, even though she doesn't. She wears wife-frame glasses.
Personality: Milo is very loving and friendly with her friends, and sometimes just spontaneous, but for the most part she is very quiet and shy. She took up music because she needed a way to express herself, and it's pretty much her life. She enjoys all kinds of music but particularly likes country, and is very fond of fellow musicians
History: Milo has twin older brothers that used to mock her whenever she opened her mouth, which led to her current insecurity about speaking to strangers. Her parents were divorced and fought so often that her household was deemed unfit for her. Her happiest memories take place in her aunt Laurie's house, where she was raised.
Other: Milo is bilingual (she speaks Spanish). She's nearsighted. Her birthday is October 3rd.

Gender: Unknown. Most people assume it's a he, just from height.
Year: Takes year 3 classes.
Branch: Culinary Arts. Also cheers at sports games, what with being the school mascot.
Appearance: Trampy wears the school mascot uniform. Nobody has ever seen him outside of the goat costume. With wide eyes and a mouth constantly open, it can seem a bit unsettling. He seems to be on the tall side, standing at a total of seven feet at the horns, That might be just because of the costume, however.

Personality: Trampy has a way with words. He never uses them. Nobody has heard him talk in all his three years at the academy. He tries his best to communicate with gestures. Trampy seems fairly mild mannered: Even when people tease him, he does very little about it. He seemed to enjoy trying new things, as he has enrolled in several clubs. Aside from the goat costume, he's a model student: he takes good notes, and does well in regards to grades. He doesn't really participate in. Class, but when called upon, he'll try his best to answer in the form of gestures or writing on the board.
History: No one knows a lot about Trampy, though rumors abound. Some say that he's part of the school's special ed program. Others say he's the ghost of a former student, possessing the costume. Still others say he's an escaped convict, hiding in plain sight. Still others say he's some kind of creepy pervert. Trampy makes no effort to obstruct people finding the truth, but whether by choice or because he is unable, he's never told anyone. People have tried to unzip his costume, but the zipper is simply stuck too tight. Nobody knows how he gets to school: the janitor finds him at the door every morning at 5 AM.

The only actual trouble he's been in was when another student tried to punch him. But the costume is actually very hard, and the student hurt his hand. Otherwise, he has technically followed all school rules, other than the dress code.
Other: Nobody knows his birthday. He's a good cook, and does indeed perform duties expected of a mascot, such as cheering at games.

Appearance: Vanessa is a darker skinned woman with long, black hair that falls down to her shoulder blades. She usually has her hair tied in a french braid. Vanessa is always seen with a stoic expression, carrying herself with confidence and professionalism. She dresses business casual nearly at all times, adding to her overall professional visage.

Personality: Due to her manner of dress and upbringing, Vanessa can come across as cold and unfriendly, which is not entirely true. She can seem a bit standoffish with her attitude, often preferring to be busy with something productive rather than engage in idle chit-chat. Her confidence can be so much that it comes across as arrogance, and because of this she tends to chase away would-be friends with her pride.

However, once people work past her professional demeanor, Vanessa can prove to be a good friend. She enjoys time spent with company, even if the activity in question doesn't suit her fancy. While she'd rather spend her time at more engaging events, if it means spending time with a friend, she'll be willing to accompany them most anywhere.

Vanessa is also, for better or worse, honest. She's not afraid to speak her mind, even if it means feelings will be hurt. Whatever she says, it can be reasonably ascertained that she is telling the truth. Vanessa is always offering her own advice to others, even if the advice isn't necessarily what the other person wants to hear. She tries to keep an unbiased opinion on any situation, preferring facts and logic over emotional ties.

History: Vanessa grew up in a fairly privileged childhood in the upper class. Growing up, Vanessa always attended the most prestigious private schools in the area, taking a wide variety of extra curricular activities to accentuate her skills. Eventually, her parents settled on music lessons, hoping their daughter would follow in the footsteps of her father, who had become a talented composer himself. She picked up the Violin at the age of 12, learning the instrument all throughout her life afterwards. When she was 15, she enrolled in Seattle Tech to hone her music skills further.

Other: Vanessa's birthday is June 23rd.

Appearance: Avi is a bit above average in height, reaching 6' 02". He has a fair complexion, and has semi-long brown hair that he pulls back in a ponytail. His eyes are a pale green, almost light gray in depth. He has a little stubble as well, but that's as far as his facial appearance looks like. He wears a dark purple jacket over a black shirt and dark green jeans. He sometimes wears sunglasses, but that's only for special occasions.

Personality: Avi is laid-back and calm, and shies away from others more often than not. His nose is buried in books more than half of his free time, and takes his classes very seriously. However, he isn't to be mistaken for a nerd, as he packs quite a punch in self-defense. His favorite animal is dragons, and if you tell him any differently, he'll give you a more than hostile stare. He can be a pretty funny guy, but he is very serious about his school work. He will also lapse into Japanese occasionally on habit. He isn't open at all to talking about his parents, nor his history.

History: For the most part, Avi never really had anything interesting in his life. He was born to a French woman and an American man, living his life in an apartment of downtown Seattle. There was a time, though, that his parents fought. And it was from then on that they spat venomous words towards each other any time they crossed paths. After a month of the ongoing fighting, his mother filed a divorce and fled to France. Soon his dad became an alcoholic, and beat Avi to let out his pent-up anger. The boy was kicked out at the age of fourteen, and was left to fend for himself. He eventually found a job at a place that sold Japanese merchandise, and soon enough scrounged up enough money to afford a small apartment and school. After a few years, he bought a bearded dragon as a pet and named it Attila. He's taken care of her ever since.

Other: He has a very low voice.

Name: Shane Maxwell
Gender: Male

Branch: Art-Music

Appearance: Shane has short black hair that he usually keeps combed back. He has brown eyes and white skin with an average thin built and standing at 5´8. He likes to wear jackets a lot regardless of season and he always wears jeans. He also has a slightly boyish face.

Personality: Shane can be easily defined as a timid guy. A lot of the time he tends to keep his thoughts to himself and it makes it hard for him to properly talk to others due to being shy about saying what's on his mind but also being afraid of saying something that could land him in trouble. He's a lot more talkative on a phone though and feels much more comfortable getting his words out to people when speaking through texts or messages. His shyness also vanishes when he sings as he gets caught up in the song and forgets everything around him.

He does have a hidden determination though and while he's someone that has a hard time dedicating to something he's also the type that won't give up on the things he really puts his spirit behind on, this aspect is one that has helped him out in his growth as a musician, though he still has a lot to go on.

History: Shane grew up with his parents and his two older sisters Emma and Sasha. Their parents divorced back when he was young and while the they all lived with their dad he was always off traveling around which basically meant that Shane was raised by both of his sisters throughout most of his life. He was always reserved as a kid and up until he was 15 he used to spend all his time either on the internet or his phone, always trying to turn away from others and keep to himself.

When he was 15 years old he met a girl at his old school that changed his life completely. At first he thought she was annoying because she always tried to get him to talk to others andpushed him out of his comfort zone but with time the two began to become real friends and he even began to fall for her. Her dream had always been to start a band and become a star and so the two began a rock band of their own along with their friends, though Shane had to learn to play the bass from scratch he still found it odd that he was willing to do something he had never even thought of before, his life was really turning for the better.

Then things changed. Things he doesn't talk about. After that he decided to move in with both of his sisters in Seattle, trying to pursue a new beginning and joining Seattle Tech in order to become a better musician, learn more instruments and about music and start a new band.

Branch: Language - Poetry/Short Stories

Appearance: Samantha is a five foot two caucasian girl has short, reddish-brown hair that's done in a bob cut. She has a round face, green eyes, and a small nose. She has an average build, and is slightly underweight. She usually wears white or green, and prefers pants over skirts.

Personality: Samantha isn't incredibly socially inclined. She has problems figuring out how she's supposed to feel or act at certain times. She's also not the best at figuring out other people's emotions without being told, though she's pretty good at guessing if given context.
Her mind is a bit warped. It often drifts off, causing her to space out. Because of this, she tends to ramble when she speeks unless she's prepared her speech ahead of time.
That said, she's still rather caring of others, and is often the first to help out if she knows something's wrong (though in her own oddball way). She also doesn't hold grudges.

History: Samantha grew up in Olympia, Washington until moving to Seattle two years ago. While her family was rather wealthy, she didn't grow up spoiled, due to her not asking for that much. She tends to spend her spare time in her room, either reading or browsing the internet. Both of her parents work.
She has a brother who's 8 years older than her who goes to the University of Chicago (though he visits frequently). He was a rather successful, managing to get straight A's in high school.
