Re: ATEE: Russian Girl *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*

"Estamos quase lá," Jonah said to Anastasiya. "Eu gostei do nosso tempo juntos."
"Eu também. Eu tenho uma pergunta, no entanto."
"Sim?"
"Você está apaixonado por mim?"
He blushed again. "S-s-sim. E você?"
She giggled. "Não me entenda mal- eu acho que você é bonito. No entanto...eu não acho que estou pronto para se apaixonar ainda."
At this, Jonah looked a little hurt.
"Isso não significa que não podemos ainda ser amigos, apesar de tudo."
"E-entendo." He turned to face Rex and Cal. "My Russian girl just friendzoned me. In Portuguese."

Cal gave him a thumbs-up. “Nice.”

"Better luck next time, eh, Jonah?"
"Whatever..."
The craft, then, landed properly, and a panel at the back of the room slid open, revealing the way to disembark.
"Let's just get Anastasiya back to her parents, okay?"

“Let's do that.”
Daz and Fiona were the first to exit the ship.

Rex and Jonah went next. Anastasiya followed, feeling somewhat bad for letting Jonah down like that, but consoling herself with the knowledge that it couldn't have gone any other way.

Cal brought up the rear, thinking similarly about Jonah.

From here, it was not very far to walk to the city of Fernberg. As it turned out, though, the Czar and Czarina, accompanied by King Elagabalus, were waiting at the edge of town, having come to see what the commotion was about regarding the giant, unannounced craft landing outside the city limits.

As they drew near to the royals, Anastasiya ran to her parents.
"Итак, как было ваше путешествие?" the Czar asked her.
"О, это было так весело!" came her enthusiastic response. "Блацйя это такая удивительная страна!"

Cal spotted, out of the corner of his eye, Daz and Fiona leaving them.
“Hey, where're ya going?” he asked them.
Daz did not stop for his answer. “To take this back to its original owner. Unlike a certain kleptomaniac I know.”

Rex and Jonah paid them no mind. As the Czar and his family turned to go back into the city, the King of Blazia approached Team Triton.
"I don't know what you three have done, but it sounds like you really impressed Anastasiya. That's good to see. That also means you've done your job brilliantly."

"I wasn't expecting anything less. And it means you've made the right choice about who to befriend, too."
While the King was talking, Jonah's attention had drifted to watching Anastasiya's retreating back.
Watching her go, and knowing she wouldn't hear, he murmured to himself, "Eu não posso te ter, mas eu ainda vou sonhar contigo, minha menina russa..."

Outside of his- or anybody present's, for that matter- notice, from atop a nearby block of flats, that same quartet of unknown figures from before viewed the King and Team Triton.
"I'd be disappointed," one of them- Östra, her name had been- muttered to her comrades, "but with a plan this obscure, it was doomed to fail from the start. Whose idea was this in the first place, anyway?"
"Fate," said another- a new one, of feminine and superior tone. "As a matter of fact, none of us had a hand in this...escapade. I don't doubt, though, that, had it worked and destroyed those Triton kids, Masaru would be the first to claim the glory for it."
"H-hey! As long as we're on the job, Akira, the name's Casino!"
"I'm in charge here, Masaru, and I'll call you what I damn well please. Now let's get out of here. We have actual plans to set in motion." With that, the so-called 'Akira' led her trio of apparent underlings away from the scene below.

To be continued...

ATEE: A Different World *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*

~A Different World~

“Find anything?” Travis asked his comrades. Team Gemini was currently looking through the attic of Mileena, Travis and Megan's aunt, who'd told them there might be a thing or two up here that they could take home.

"Nothing," Megan said. "Are you sure there's actually some decent stuff up here? Seems to me like Aunt Mileena was just lying to us to get us to clean out her attic, so she wouldn't have to."

Travis just rolled his eyes.
“What's this?” Jake asked, holding up a purple outfit. It looked like something a ninja would wear.

“Mileena probably wore it for Halloween, or something,” Travis added.
Jake shrugged, and put the costume back where he found it.
Travis pushed aside a stack of boxes to find a large oval-shape covered by a blanket. Curious, he pulled off the blanket to reveal an unnecessarily ornate mirror.

Jake walked over beside Travis.
Travis turned and excitedly asked Megan, “D'ya think we can get Mileena to let us take this?!”
“Uh, guys...” Jake said, seeing something Travis' attention was currently away from. Specifically, their reflections. More specifically, their gender-flipped reflections.
