Re: ATEE: Coming Home *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*

"Well, anyway, that's one crisis averted, right?"
Jonah nodded (as would Rex, had he not been preoccupied with lightly scolding Regina for nearly getting herself dream-killed by that imp's scythe). "Might as well go home, in that case."

Re: ATEE: Coming Home *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*

"Yeah. Come on, you two," Jonah said, getting between Rex and Regina to snap them back to reality.

As the five of them made their way out and to their respective homes, they would not notice four figures lurking around a corner, watching them. After all, why would that be suspicious? They were not even noticeable.
"Well, that was a bust," one- a cocky-sounding male- said to another, as the two others agreed. "And I really thought that would do the trick."
"Shut up, Casino," the accused responded. This one sounded female- not that anyone was listening. "It's not like you've got any better ideas."
"Au contraire- I have just the plan..."

To be continued...

ATEE: Solar Flare *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*

~Solar Flare~

A bat with a particularly spiky hairstyle was walking through the forest of Prolo Island. This individual was Travis, ten years older than the last time we saw him. With him was a black-furred cat and a dark brown-furred vixen, around the same age as him.
“The forest's pretty cool, huh guys?” Travis asked his comrades.

"It's not so bad," the vixen, Megan, said. "As far as forests go, there are worse."

"No, you can't," Megan said flatly. "Unless you're into dead leaves and twigs."

“Whatever...”
Unknown to him, a creature was watching them from the shadows.

This did not go unnoticed for long, as Megan had caught sight of it.
"And what is that?" She made a rough gesture in its direction.

“Huh?” Travis looked at where Megan specified. The creature, having noticed it was spotted, made its way out of the shadows. It appeared to be some sort of imp-like creature, armed with a machete.

"Oh, my mistake- it's just your average neighbourhood armed freak."

It seemed to react badly to the word 'freak', and started to advance towards them. However, by chance, it happened to step into a beam of sunlight, and hastily retreated, seeming to have been harmed by it.

“It dropped something, though,” Jake pointed out.
Travis looked. It had indeed dropped something; a gun of some sort.

Travis picked up the gun. It appeared to be out of ammunition at the moment, but it had a screen on the back of the part that held the yellow lens to the gun that said 'Taiyo!' underneath an arrow pointing up.
“D'you think it runs on sunlight?” Jake asked.

"So..?" It would not be unreasonable to suggest that she was using hostility to hide the fact that she had no idea what 'taiyo' actually meant.

Guessing he had no choice if he wanted to stop the argument, Travis raised the gun to the sky, which filled the gun's battery... and also released a small spirit that resembled a sunflower.
Taiyo!” it announced. After a moment, it said, “Oh man, that feels good! You have no idea how boring it is to be trapped in there. Speaking of which... who are you guys, anyways?”
