This is the story of a school were students go to learn miraculous powers. Some of them are humans born with traits of Pokemon, known as Gijinka. Some of them are humans who have trained to attain similar powers, known as Aura Users. And some of them have close bonds with Pokemon, enough to be able to take on their forms. The Pokemorphs. This is the story of these miraculous students and their adventures.

The World
The world this RP takes place in is more or less the same as the Pokemon world we see in the games. One addition is the Gijinka and Pokemorphs. These people are accepted throughout most of the world, though some regions stigmatize them. It's rare, but it happens. Most people realize that if nothing else, their talents can be useful to society. There are many facilities for educating Gijinka, Pokemorphs, and Aura Users throughout the world.
Another difference is that Legendaries are much more intelligent and powerful. They can take human form, and sometimes take a direct hand in the affairs of mankind.

The Academy
Aura Academy lies on Lemon Island in the Orange Archipelago. Considered one of the best schools for Trainers, Aura Users, Pokemorphs, and Gijinka, it's easy to see why. The huge facility is well-funded, with luxurious conditions and some of the best of the best as teachers. It's surrounded by forest and lake, so students can go out and catch Pokemon. The school also has watercraft the students can borrow to visit the other islands of the archipelago.

The Students:
Anyone can come to Aura Academy. While it's a private school, they hand out scholarships very often, and getting in isn't all that expensive. The school is known mostly for it's programs on education of Gijinka, Aura Users, Trainers, and Pokemorphs.

Aura Users
Aura Users are humans who have trained in the use of the energy known as Aura. Arceus granted Pokemon extraodinary powers. Through the use of Aura, humans can tap into that boon, and gain powers such as flight, control of flames, or the power to summon storms, among others. This training can take the form of meditation, physical exercise, special treatments, or other things. Each Aura User has an element. One of the eighteen Pokemon types, this has much the same effect as a Pokemon type: It determines resistances and weaknesses, and also makes moves of that type stronger.
As Aura Users are human, they cannot Mega Evolve. However, after completing a certain ritual, Aura Users can unlock a power called Full Force, allowing them to surpass their limits in much the same way Pokemon can by Mega Evolving.

Gijinka
Sometimes, human children are born with traits similar to Pokemon. They may have sharp fangs, or a pair of animal-like ears, or strange eyes, or tails. While uncommon, this is typically considered a blessing. These people are called Gijinka. These creatures have powers much like their base Pokemon. A Charizard Gijinka could breathe fire, and may even have wings that let them fly. Meanwhile, a Voltorb Gijinka might be able to power electronics.
Aside from being mostly human, there are other differences Gijinka have from regular Pokemon. Most of them are born as first-stage Pokemon. They can evolve, but it doesn't do much in terms of raw power. Evolution in Gijinka is caused by emotional development. It can be induced by great joy, such as falling in love or learning you won a contest. It can also be brought on by great trauma, such as loss of a loved one. On that note, any Gijinka can Mega Evolve. But in addition to a Mega Stone, they must undergo intense training.

Pokemorphs
Pokemorphs are humans who have been blessed by a Legendary with the power to talk to and turn into a Pokemon. This typically happens when a Legendary is nearby and a human does something that pleases it. This is typically something like helping a Pokemon in need. But it can be something more obscure than that: Darkrai may be impressed with a human's ability to frighten others, and grant them the power to turn into a Pokemorph. Shaymin might just decide to grant you power if you have a nice garden.
Pokemorphs can turn into different Pokemon. Most of them are granted one form by the legendary to start out with. To gain more, they must serve other Pokemon. Protecting a forest with lots of Pidgey in it would likely allow a Pokemorph to take a form of the bird Pokemon, while helping a baby Buneary find its mother would possibly grant the Pokemorph the form of a Buneary. Individual forms evolve in the same way Pokemon normally do: By battling. They also Mega Evolve normally using a mega stone. However, without special training, a Mega Evolved Pokemorph will go berserk, attacking anyone in sight. Also, Pokemorphs can only Mega Evolve while in the form of a Pokemon that could also Mega Evolve. Finally, between transformations, a Pokemorph has a cooldown period. Most Pokemorphs can only transform once a minute, though very good ones only need a matter of seconds.

Trainers
Trainers are just humans that train Pokemon. Many professions also require that one be an adept trainer: Professors, Rangers, all of them need to understand Pokemon. While Aura Users, Gijinka, and Pokemorphs all could have Pokemon, they usually don't have the time to train them to be as powerful as a Trainer's. And while Pokemorphs may be able to turn into and speak with Pokemon, good trainers can understand their Pokemon just as well with intuition. In other words, a Trainer and a Gijinka with equal training could fight, and it might go either way.

Rules:
-All BMGF rules apply.
-No god-modding, no auto-hitting. Try to keep your character at the same power level as the others. And don't hog the spotlight too much.
-Try to keep things PG-13. No hanky-panky. Hugging and kissing is okay.
-RPing is about having fun. But RPing well is about making sure everyone has fun.
-If you read the rules, mention the name of your character's mother in your SU. You won't get rejected if you don't, but I'll know that you did and I'll think that you're a cool guy.

Sign-Ups:
Put as much as you feel comfortable adding for each category. More is usually better, since these will tell other RPers and me about your character, and also provide a chance for you to get in on worldbuilding. You can either be a teacher or a first-year student. Should you choose to be a teacher, I must warn that the focus will be largely on the students. As such, there won't be a lot of focus on classes.

Aura Guardian:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance:
Personality:
History:
Element: What element does your character use? It can be any Type, whether Normal or Dark or Fire. Your character can learn moves from other types, but moves they use from their own type are stronger. A Guardian can only have one type. They inherit that types weaknesses and resistances. A Fire-type Guardian would take more damage from Water attacks, but less from Grass-types.
Moves: An Aura Guardian can know up to four moves. List each one, and describe exactly what it does here. A single move can do different things depending on who uses it. When one Guardian uses Shadow Ball, they might charge up a ball of darkness and fire it at an opponent. But a different guardian might shoot smaller balls at a faster wait, or use concentration to generate Shadow Balls that slowly follow enemies around.

Gijinka:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance: Most Gijinka have some feature that resembles their base Pokemon, whether it be an extra set of ears sprouting from their head, oddly colored hair or eyes, a tail, or wings.
Personality:
History:
Base Pokemon: What sort of Pokemon is your Gijinka based on? It can be any non-legendary. The moves your character can learn are the same as those of the Pokemon type. Note that Evolution doesn't do much for a Gijinka aside from change their moveset. A Pikachu Gijinka and a Raichu Gijinka would be about the same power level. Evolution in Gijinka is caused from emotional development, such as falling in love or the death of a loved one.
Moves: A Gijinka can learn up to four moves. However, they can only learn the moves of their base Pokemon.

Pokemorph:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance: Feel free to list the appearance of your Pokemon forms here, should you feel it appropriate.
Personality:
History:
Forms: List each form and their moves here. At character creation, a Pokemorph can have: Three unevolved forms -or- one second-stage evolution and one first stage -or- one final-stage evolution. Pokemorphs gain more evolutions by helping Pokemon out. They can evolve a form by battling with it. All Pokemorphs have the ability to converse with Pokemon.

Trainer:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance:
Personality:
History:
Pokemon: Up to six, like in the games.

Example
Name: Joshua Joeman

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: Joshua is average height, but nonetheless comes off as imposing. First off, he's pretty muscular. Not huge. He's toned and athletic. He also has a bad case of Male Resting Bitch Face. He rarely smiles, and usually looks pissed off. He has a small scar over his left eyebrow. His black hair is perpetually in a medium-length mop, and it 'so the same color as his dark eyes. Josh's skin is tan, because he spends a lot of time outside, skipping class to train.

Personality: Josh has a lot of anger built up. He's never had a good way of releasing it. He tries to only take his anger out only on people who he thinks are asking for it. He tries to be nice. Sometimes he's good at it, other times he's just not sure how. He enjoys fighting, and he's very knowledgable at combat sports. Josh also has a low opinion of authority figures. He doesn't like being ordered around. If he does something, it's not gonna be because he's asked to. It's gonna be because something he cares about is on the line. He has a strong sense of justice, and he likes to tackle problems head on. Like many boys his age, he likes comic books and video games.

History: Josh is a bastard child. His mom spent most of her time drinking or at work, so he didn't have a lot of guidance as a kid. When he was little his mom sometimes left him alone, and it just so happened that the only thing that was on during those times was usually boxing. So Josh got really interested in combat sports.
Josh was pretty small when he was younger, and the cool kids picked on him because he was poor. It got worse when they found out he didn't have a dad. He started working out at about middle school, and learning how to fight, and eventually he didn't get picked on anymore. But he kept going. Every day, he pushed himself a little farther, until he unlocked the power of Aura. Shortly after, he got a scholarship to the academy. Now he's entering his first year.

Element: Fighting

Moves:
Arm Thrust: Edward launches a series of powerful punches at a much faster rate than any human is capable of.
Endure: Allows Edward to endure attacks far beyond that which a normal person can. In practice, this power means that injuries don't affect him much. They still hurt, but they won't actually weaken him or slow him down.
Bullet Punch: Edward launches an incredibly fast punch, while his aura hardens his fist, giving it a metallic coat for a few seconds.
Teleport: Edward teleports a short distance. He must be able to see where he's teleporting to.

Okay. I've shrekked you out, and while you seem
a little ogreenthusiastic, I'll give you a reserve anyway.

@Kimono Dragon reserved.

Are legendaries allowed?
As player characters? Naw. I might let people kinda take them over as NPCs. Seeing as in this world they're more powerful, we'll see about trainers catching them. Not anytime near the beginning.

She was later adopted by an upper middle class family who wanted a child. Her being a Gijinka was just a bonus to them. She does not know that she is adopted and her parents are worried about telling her. Her parents, Sally and Seto were both very caring and often-told Chloe about how her abilities were a gift. They also threated to sue the schools if any of the teachers said anything bad. While she was not one of the popular girls at school Chloe did have a good group of friends and was able to get though Middle school and part of high school. Once Sally heard about Aura Academy they decided that she would be sent there. With a tearful goodbye to her friends she set off.

Name: Terra Hynemann
Age: 15
Gender: Female

Appearance: She is four foot eleven and has lightly larger than average red eyes, and dark blonde hair. Due to her base pokemon, Terra looks a little...freakish. Her skin is dark yellow, and covered in chitin. Her teeth are slightly enlarged, especially the canines, which are visible even when she closes her mouth. Due to her waist being thin, she has an hourglass figure. Her legs are covered in hexagon-shaped holes, which seem to generate grubs from inside them. She has small wings on her back, though they aren't strong enough to achieve lift for more than a few seconds.

Personality: Fitting for a queen, Terra is rather vain. She is a perfectionist when it comes to her work, and doesn't take failure well (both hers and others). She is rather demanding, and a bit pouty when she's not in charge (which makes her relationship with her parents, Colby and Megan, rather broken).
On the other hand, she is a rather hard worker, and quite creative.

History: Terra had three heads until age 11, when she evolved through that she doesn't like to talk about. Despite, or rather, due to, her frightening appearance, she was not bullied that often in school, and was often allowed to do whatever she pleased. Those that didn't let her get what she wanted tended to "get the flu".

Her parents enrolled her into Aura Academy against her will when they figured teachers wouldn't be so scared of her. They also "got the flu".

Base Pokemon: Vespiquen
Base pokemon moves:
Infestation- The grubs on Terra's legs break off of her, and then rapidly swarm whatever she chooses, pinning them in place.

Poison sting- Terra's fingernails sharpen and turn purple, and she then digs them into her foe. Wounds inflicted by this attack are often poisoned.

Defend Order- The grubs on Terra's legs rapidly undergo metamorphosis and become bees. They then surround her, forming a protective shell. They revert back to grubs afterwords.

Gust- Terra's wings beat rapidly, producing a strong, though short lived, blast of wind.

Name: Joseph Niskogasa
Age: 16
Gender: Male

Appearance: Joseph has shaggy light green hair that surrounds his upper head and slightly covers his black eyes. He often wears a t-shirt that matches his hair color, faded jeanshorts, and a pair of dark green sneakers. Sometimes he can be seen wearing a straw hat to avoid accidently releasing any spores into the air.

Personality: Short-tempered, cynical, and crass, Joseph is always quick to pick out the flaws in other and voice his opinions sarcastically and constantly. On the other hand, he takes great offense on mention of his prosthetics and won't delay in picking a fight with the slimy little *** twinkle-toed *** that mentioned them.

History: Joseph was born to an middle-class family in Petalburg City. Upon his birth, his underdeveloped arms were immediately noticed by the doctors and his parents. In order to resolve this issue, his parents paid for a set of prosthetic extensions. However, these didn’t seem to work very well when it came to activities such as catch, swimming or drawing. This caused Joseph to be constantly ridiculed by the other kids in the city, which started making him ornery and abrasive toward others. He eventually earned the nickname “The Un-Fun Guy” (say it out loud uwu) and in an effort to soften his heart, his parents shipped him off to Aura Academy to hopefully mingle with fellow gijinka.

Base Pokemon: Shroomish

Moves:
Bullet Seed - A stream of hard-shelled seeds are shot out of Joseph's mouth at the opponent.
Leech Seed - A vine grows on the opponent and saps some of his/her energy to revitalize Joseph.
Tackle - Joseph tackles somebody/thing. That's it.
Spore - Joseph shakes his hair and causes yellow pollen to fly out. Coming into contact with them causes drowsiness and fatigue.

Name: Dell Conagher

Age: 37

Gender: Male

Appearance:
300px-Engineer.png
tf2_pokemon___engineer_ampharos_by_jestermation-d4os90f.png

Personality: He is known as the Engineer for a reason: He loves to design and build things. He is laid back and relaxed, making contraptions that allow him to do just that. He is always polite and kind to everyone he meets. But if you are not on his side, or simply mess with his contraptions, you better start prayin', boy!

History: Son of Sandra Conagher, this guy has gotten himself 11 PhDs in hard science that let him design and build almost anything he can dream of. Though he was always fascinated by pokemon, he never became a trainer, and never caught any pokemon officially. However, recently he has attracted the attention of a few legendaries, especially Victini, for inventing a toaster that can toast bagels evenly inside and outside from every direction, other things could be toasted as well, but mainly bagels. Either way, Victini decided to bless Dell with the power of an Ampharos. Therefore, Dell headed out to the Aura Academy to learn more about his new body.

Form: Ampharos

Flash: Dell shines his tail into his opponent's eyes, due to the fact the tail is visible from space according to the pokedex, good luck getting your vision back!
Zap Cannon: Dell charges up a huge ball of electricity using his tail, and flings it at the opponent. It is very strong, able to cause paralysis every time it hits, but at the same time very inaccurate
Fire Punch: Dell finds his inner Pyro and punches you in the face with a flaming fist, nuff said.
Thunder: Dell channels his energy to drop a bolt of lightning on the opponent, works best if it is rocket jumping flying.

The nicest and one of the most sane out of the Teufort Nine, he usually is polite to everybody he meets. But if you are not on his side, or simply mess with his contraptions, you better start prayin', boy!

History: From Bee Cave, Texas, the grandson of eccentric Radigan Conagher and son of his mother, [REDACTED] Conagher. Dell has 11 hard science PhDs, a natural curiosity, and ten years as a roughneck in the west Texas oilfields that inspired him to design, and build various deadly contraptions. He was later hired into Mann Co where he became an engineer on a team of mercenaries fighting an army of clones of themselves. One day a freak accident happened as he was using a teleporter, and he somehow teleported into the Pokemon universe. There, he found a cute little floating gear, and set off to learn more about this world, eventually ending up at Aura Academy.

Pokemon: Klink
I don't like doing this, but I have to reject it. While it's not a bad character, per se, if I let a Team Fortress character in, then I have to let other fictional characters in. Then we have Sonic the Hedgehog, and Princess Peach, and Donald Duck, and before we know it, we've got a Smash Bros RP. Which is nice, but not what this one is. You can keep the name and appearance, but I must ask that you make it so he's not actually The Engineer from Team Fortress before I accept you.

Alright, sure. Don't really know what I was thinking then. But sure, i'll change it.

Name: Keira "Kei" Shinohara
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: Kei has a normal skin tone like a human, and a very human-esque face. However, she doesn't have very many other similarities to the mortal race. She has dark raven-colored hair, with a blue tint to it. Two large Lucario ears sprout from her head, as well as the four aura-sensing appendages extending from her long hair. She has a large tail, and a spike on the back of each hand. Her legs end in paws, and she stands on the tip of her toes in a force of habit. Visible aura often surrounds her hands and forearms in the form of a blue energy. Lastly, she has a spike protruding from the center of her chest, set upon the upper abdomen. She wears blue shorts and a beige sleeveless hoodie as normal clothing.
Personality: Kei is relatively quiet, and aggressive when the situation calls for it. She is very serious, and isn't one to joke around. Kei is a hard worker, and a straight-A student. She doesn't speak very much, as a result of intense training over the years. If you stay on her good side, she can be an extremely loyal friend. However, if you betray her trust, she will see you as an enemy - something you definitely don't want to be in her wake.
History: There isn't much to know about her, besides her impressive prowess in combat. She's pretty tight-lipped about it, as well. Don't ask about her family, much less her mother; you'll become a subject of temporary torment if you do.
Base Pokemon: Lucario
Moves:

Aura Sphere: A large sphere of aura accumulates in Kei's hand, which she then proceeds to fire at the enemy. This attack never misses.

Extreme Speed: Kei moves faster than the human eye can track, and directly assaults the opponent. This gives the illusion of vanishing into thin air.

Close Combat: Kei runs up to the target and attacks them with a flurry of uppercuts and punches. This does end up tiring her out after several uses, however.

Flash Cannon: Controlling the aura around her, Kei gathers all her light energy into one large blast. This can leave the opponent dazed.

As a note, I'll post one or two more sign-ups later.

Ah, I like it, but before I accept you, I'd like some more detail on what exactly each move does. Like does extreme speed make her faster, or let her teleport shirt distances, or what? If you do that, you're good.
