Avatar Problems

For some reason, every time I try to upload my avatar I get this:

"The contents of the uploaded image do not match the file's extension."

It's a .gif, the same avatar I used to use, so I have no idea what this means

From my knowledge from Smogon, XenForo's pretty picky about .gifs, so I would recommend choosing a different avatar.
