Bad Ad Reporting Thread

It's my first time on a forum, so I hope I won't mess around, if I will, please forgive me. I' posting here what I wrote this morning on Bulbapedia main page's talk page:
I'm writing this to report a serious problem I've had since a few months: while I'm on Bulbagarden sites, I get redirected to an adult site and I can't return on the previous page. At first I thought it was a bad ad I opened inadvertently, but now I know for sure it is not that case. It first happened around December, and it got worse within the time... By now it almost happens once each fifty pages I open more or less. I usually get this problem on Bulbapedia, but it also happened once on the archives. It still haven't got this problem on the other Bulbagarden sites but I think it's because I usually don't go on them. It is not a browser problem, since it happened with opera, chrome mobile and another mobile browser. I don't know if the fact I'm in Italy matters. I wrote down the site I get redirected to when I'm on the tablet. I don't have the desktop site because now I usually use my tablet, and I didn't think of writing down the URL. I first thought to add the link hidden in this discussion, but anybody could have still opened it. If you need it I can send it by email. Thanks for your attention.
I add to this that I didn't think it was an ad problem, and that since it happened on three different devices and with Bulbagarden sites only it is obviously not a virus. I don't think it is a good idea to add the link to that site here too. However, I don't know what details can be useful. I don't think it happened with specific pages, but it is random automatic redirect that usually takes some seconds before happening (the first times I thought I clicked the ad while scrolling down the page).
I hope there's no need to sign here because I wouldn't know how to do it. By the way I'm CiaobyDany

I also noticed that said lower pop-up banners were branded with, and the exact same type as those used by Curse.

Did you sell out or something?

Why does the front page of Bulbanews have an ad for Bulbanews popping up that if you click on it brings you to the front page of Bulbanews? :lol:

Why would this be cause for concern? More or less, it just lets you know that the ad is working, as well as any targeting mechanisms you have in place.

There is an ad that makes you scroll down to the bottom of the page.
I reloaded the page several times and i recorded all the apps on the page everytime it scrolled down to the bottom.
First time around:
Second time around:
Third time around:
Fourth time around:
Image of page bottom: http://i.imgur.com/priYs7d.png
The ad at the top was exactly the same as bottom left
Bottom right ad: Total Domination: Nuclear Strategy is the best hardcore strategy game!
Bottom left ad: Falck autohjælp med over 400 rullende værksteder
Very bottom ad: redirects 2 times ending at Unibet - Odds, Casino, Poker
unable to get the redirect links
Something i noticed is that all but 2nd have a total domination thing

I've seen an ad that comes out on the bottom of the screen and prevents me from seeing it. It rapidly changes what it is advertising, and whenever I click "close", the ad comes back after 5 seconds.

I've also seen annoying ads that force you to watch a video in the bottom-right corner for five seconds. The videos are constantly buffering and cause my computer to run slowly, as well as blocking part of the screen.

But the most strange thing I saw was Bulbanews being advertised on Bulbapedia! What is up with that?

Very annoying ads from Anyclip. Example ad lead me to:
The Hobbit: the Desolation of Smaug - Trailer from The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug | Anyclip

They start out on mute (And show the mute icon) which is probably bad since they are video clips but at least I don't have to hear it. About 5 mins later (I think it's timed) the volume suddenly activates even though it still shows as Mute. You then have to go to the volume control and unmute/mute it to stop it from making noise (or pause it). The delay makes it very hard to track if you have multiple tabs open. I can't post a link since I don't have 5 posts on these forms so I cannot upload a photo.

That's probably a flaw too as I created this account specifically to report this ad.

I've been getting some new, bizarre "ads". It loads a two minute video preview of a bad vampire movie. It starts playing silently when you load a page. If you mouse over the volume comes on. When the two minute movie ends it causes a script error that shuts down Firefox.

I say "ad" because the movie itself isn't a promotion, but it plays 15 second commercials for products at the beginning, middle, and end of the video. (I've seen commercials for Oroa, Move Free Pills, and AT&T.)

I've attached a picture of the move below. Please let me know what additional information would be helpful.

I'm still getting Scorecard Research connections, if anyone needs to know:
Code:
<!-- Begin comScore -->
<script>
var _comscore = _comscore || [];
_comscore.push({ c1: "2", c2: "6035118" });
(function() {
   var s = document.createElement("script"), el = document.getElementsByTagName("script")[0]; s.async = true;
   s.src = (document.location.protocol == "https:" ? "https://sb" : "http://b") + ".scorecardresearch.com/beacon.js";
   el.parentNode.insertBefore(s, el);
})();
</script>
<noscript>
   <img src="http://b.scorecardresearch.com/p?c1=2&amp;c2=6035118&amp;cv=2.0&amp;cj=1" />
</noscript>
<!-- End comScore -->
^ That is an excerpt of page source...when I'm logged in. Haven't gotten a window from it (don't know if I will with my ad blocker), but it is indeed still making connections.

Should we get rid of those dating site ads that say racist stuff like: "DATE MUSLIMS/ASIANS/LATINOS/JAPANESE/MILFS/etc!!!!" I hate those ads soooooo much, because it is racist and sexist. They've been going on since 200X. Also, can we get rid of ads that promote MMORPGS with binki-clad girls?

If you can get us screenshots of the questionable advertisements, the URLs of the ads, and the URLs they're directing to, we can look into removing them. There's not much we can do without that information.

Oh god...

There's a pornographic comic ad showing up. There's a comic strip in pencil. The word on the ad is "Renta".

It leads to this website (NSFW)Redirect

PLEASE REMOVE THIS. I thought Bulbapedia was clean :(

Pornographic advert! There's this advert which leads to a hentai website. The advert has a panel of the comic, with all the dirty stuff like "I'm Cumming". It has the word "Renta". It leads to this link, NSFW.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to report this, but it seemed like the best option. Today when browsing bulbapidia I keep getting this pop-up. Screen Shot 2014-06-09 at 18.34.48.png I'm then immediately redirected to this site Screen Shot 2014-06-09 at 18.35.06.png and an automatic downed starts of a .EXE file called setup. I'm assuming it's the site that's the issue and not my computer, but if it is my problem or if this needs to be reported elsewhere please inform me and I'll sort myself out, Thanks.
