There is a new, powerful enemy in the Kanto region. This enemy has been rampaging around, killing both people and Pokemon. 8 young trainers are on a quest to defeat this enemy. However, the enemy's Pokemon have planted an evil within these trainers. With every step, this evil grows inside them. Soon, if they are not careful, they will turn against each other, and the land will be destroyed. The only way to defeat the enemy, is to defeat each other, and themselves.

Name: Ben
Age: 15.
Description: Slightly tall, around 6 feet 175 lbs. Muscled, not too thickly. Ben is quick to anger, and slow to forgiveness - his greatest flaw. When not angry, Ben is nice and peace-loving, but when it comes to battling, Ben gets excited, and he dislikes losing. A lot. Ben carries a gun and a pouch of bullets at all times.
Bio: Born to parents in Saffron City, Ben was sent to boot camp the age of 4. While he doesn't remember his 2 years there, the tactical skills that were drilled into him, as well as the working out methods, which is the reason he's in such good shape. When he got home, his parents revealed themselves to be members of the PP (Private Police, Kanto's version of the CIA), and they trained him in the use of a gun. Ben lived peacefully with his parents for many years, but when he was 13, they were called away on a mission, the purpose of which Ben does not know. However, they were never seen since. It is still unknown whether they're dead, or simply missing.

Name: Robin "Drake" Keene
Age: 17
Description:
Appearance: Robin is about 6'2", with fair skin, short black hair, and black eyes. He weighs 180 lbs., and is in excellent physical condition, despite his rather sedentary lifestyle. His usual attire is a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.
Personality: Robin is a rather shy, quiet comic book geek with an affection for Greek mythology and botany. After constantly getting teased about his name when he was young, he decided to start calling himself "Drake", after the surname of one of Batman's Robins. However, this name also belies his love for the Dragon-type of pokemon.

Similarly to his namesake's mentor, Robin has a strong sense of justice, and isn't afraid to stand up for the little guy. This partially stems from the bullies of his own youth, and his unwillingness to see others treated as he was. Despite his shyness, he is an eager and loyal (if a bit clumsy and sometimes clingy) friend. His casual, laid-back demeanor coupled with his love of flowers had led many to assume that he is gay, but Robin himself is undecided -- and unconcerned -- about his sexuality.
Biography: Robin was born on Cinnabar Island, and has lived there all his life. His parents owned a small hot spring on the island, and ran a small spa while also selling herbal medicines. Because of this, Robin is very knowledgeable about plants, and plans to take over the shop from his parents when they retire.

Age: 16
Description:

Biography: A fun loving kid from Fuchsia City, he's curious about a lot of the Kanto region, having never gone further than Celadon City. He spends a lot of time in the Safari Zone and loves seeing new pokemon. He's got an arrogant streak but it's balanced out by his helpfulness. But don't make Aaron mad or you WILL regret it. He's quite skilled at strategy, but is prone to making bizarre choices not even his closest friends understand. He's not the biggest computer nerd on the planet, but he knows how to find those special people who are. He wears a scanner over one eye that can read the status of pokemon in a battle. And his gloves... well, who wouldn't want gloves that can stick to any surface? Really, Aaron is just one of the guys you just can't figure out. But you love to be around him anyways.

Name: Riku Nightjay
Age: 16
Description: Riku stands at 5'2". She has pale skin, short, straight white hair thats shoulder length, and ice blue eyes. She wears a light-weight white jacket with a black shirt underneath, and pale blue jeans. She wears black gloves that have short, sharp metal spikes on the fingertips. Riku is an odd soul, often found in the most random places talking to herself, or to anything she takes a fancy to. She's kind, very impish, and carefree.
Biography: Riku was found in the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town when she was 2 years-old. At that time, she had three black orbs around her, causing Channelers to think that she was possessed. She was taken in by John and Saya River, a recently married couple.

Two years later, some Channelers idenyified the three black orbs, two were the ghosts of Riku's parents, while the other one was a Banette. Her real parents revealed that they had brought Riku to the Tower in hopes of someone finding her and taking care of her. John and Saya promised to take good care of Riku. It was later revealed that Riku's name was Rose Nightjay. After learning what Riku's real name was, John and Saya decided to change Riku's last name.

Biography:As a child he was faced with only school and knowledge when he hit 13 he found the wonders of laughing and is now a rather intelligent comic not having ever once seen a comedian before he instantly loved it and picked up on it soon enough.His parents dis-approved of his being a comedian but william did secret shows after school to all his class mates.Now he a semi serious pokemon trainer and a completly serious comedian.

Ah, sweet. I haven't been RPGing in a while, but I'll give this a go.

Name: Maya Reynolds
Age: Almost 14
Description: Maya is fairly short, just over 5'2" and weighs 98 lbs. She has light caramel skin and striking russet irises, with long ebony hair reaching to the small of her back. She wears a lightweight, chestnut coloured jacket with a black singlet underneath, grey coloured shorts reaching to the middle of her thighs, and black leather boots reaching to just below her knees. Her gloves are short, also grey and have holes cut in them to make room for the bare skin of her fingers.

Maya is quick to make friends, and often trusts easily. However, when this trust is lost, it is extremely hard to get back. She’s happy-go-lucky, very introvert when it comes to personal feelings and problems, but is a team player nonetheless. She’s also a firm disbeliever of discrimination of any sort, and will fight hard for those suffering from such forms of injustice.

Biography: Maya’s father passed away due to an unexplained death when she was merely 2 ½ years of age, rendering her useless of any possibility of knowing her father. Due to her mother’s hectic work schedule at Saffron City’s Silph Corp, Maya lives within Viridian City under the care of her older brother, Mark, who usually expects her to complete her work both domestically at home, and academically at the local Pokémon Academy. Despite the stressful workload bestowed upon her, Maia does not mind to do so anyway, and finds it an efficient way to vent any frustrations.

Mark works altering shifts at the PokéMart, making it hard for Maia to tell when he returns home. However, when he’s granted leave, he usually buys something special, and takes it upon himself to cook a grand meal for all the work Maia’s put in for the countless days that he’s absent. Maia’s mother on the other hand does not endow such a pleasure, and only visits on birthdays or Christmas.

Maia’s introvert personality stems from the relationship (or rather the lack thereof) with her family, allowing her to become dangerously independent and ignorant towards any help that is offered to her. Because of this, she does not have many friends, and the ones that she already has, always prefer to hang around with someone else.

Description: Peter stands at 5'4, tall for his age, weighs 110 pounds. He wears blacks clothing, usually a black jacket with the Ghostbusters symbol, blacks shirt with Metallica's name, and long blue jeans with brown boots. He has 2 piercings in lower lip, somewhat long brown hair thats straight. He has a necklace with a Pokeball attached to it.
Biography: Peter is Maya's younger brother, who is goth like and keeps things quiet. He doesn't talk much, but is a more complex person, with deeper emotions. He was a Team Rocket grunt, who trained under Giovani, and lead the Gym while he was gone. He cares deeply about his sister and takes unneccessary risks to keep them both safe. He suffers from nightmares of torture that Pokemon recieve from working at Team Rocket. He plans to get back at them and destroy their team.

Name: John "Silver" Martin/Cero (explained in a second)
Age: 16
Description: John is a rather average person at first glance, around 5'10 and slight build. He has many unique features, though, among them one blue and one hazel eye, silvery hair (hence his nickname) that he dyes blonde, and large canine teeth.
Biography: John lived on the streets of Kanto since before he could remember. He was the leader of his small band of orphans until he began to develope multiple personality disorder, his alternate conciousness referring to itself as "Cero". While John was even-tempered and only resorted to crime as a last resort to survive, Cero's violent nature quickly got them removed from the travelers. Ending up in Saffron City, John began to pass himself off as sixteen, what he believed himself to be. He began to work, but was fired whenever Cero surfaced. When the band of orphans came to Saffron, their new leader had turned them into a gang using his Pokemon. Pickpocketing a Pokeball, Cero fought the gang leader and lost, both groups running before the police came. Since then, he has gone to gather more Pokemon, John catching two and Cero gaining another through illigitimate means.
