This is kind of based off the Japanese Tokusatsu show called Garo.

Plot: Do you feel like there is a presence watching over you? Protecting you? Do you feel a strange connection to a certain animal you can’t quite explain? Then you may be one of the few people who can awaken their Beast Soul.

Beast Souls are guardian spirit animals that protect and guide their host. Most merely protect their users from daily harm…but there are those who have an even closer connection. They can Beast Merge with their Beast Soul…what happens next is a matter of their heart. Those with good in their hearts become Beast Knights, heroic warriors who protect the innocent. But there is a far worse fate for those with evil in their hearts…

Those who seek the power of their Beast Soul but have a black, twisted soul, the spirit is corrupted by their evil and they become a Black Heart, a creature of evil who exists only to kill and destroy. For centuries the Beast Knights and the Black Hearts have fought, but a new leader of the Black Hearts has mobilized them under his power and seeks to destroy not only the Beast Knights, but normal humans, leaving only the twisted and evil Black Hearts to inherit the Earth.

Can the Beast Knights defeat the evil Black Hearts and disperse their threat? Or will darkness rain over this world? More importantly, which side are you on?

History:
Armor Appearance: (Beast Knights have a fierce animalistic appearance but it still looks like knight armor. Black Hearts are demonic animalistic beasts in their Beast Merge forms.)
Elements: (You can have two. Elements are Fire, Water, Ice, Darkness, Metal, Wind, Light, and Earth)
Weapons: ( A Main Weapon and secondary weapon)
Finishing Moves: (Have at least two, one for each weapon, but you can have more. They involve one of your elements and either a weapon or physical attack. They don't need to be fancy and all it takes to activate one is to say it's name, but don't be afraid to add cool effects. These attacks are used to kill a Black Heart enemy, but aren't unblockable)

Name: Eiji Takashi
Beast Knight/Black Heart Name: Moto (Fierce Tiger)
Age: 50 (looks 20)
Personality: Strong willed, somewhat stubborn. He can come off as a bit pushy but he’s got a good heart. Eiji hates the Black Hearts with a passion and his fighting style pretty much amounts to completely obliterating the enemy. However, to his friends, he’s a strong and loyal ally.
History: Eiji was a normal person, that is until a Black Heart attacked his home, killing his entire family. That night, Eiji’s Beast Soul awakened before Master Isao arrived and destroyed the Black Heart. Seeing Eiji’s Beast Soul, Isao took him to train under him and master his Beast Soul. Isao also trained Eiji to keep his thirst for vengeance from tainting his heart so he didn’t slip and fall into becoming a Black Heart. Ever sense then, Eiji has assumed the form of the mighty tiger Beast Knight Moto to battle the Black Hearts.
Armor Appearance: Moto’s armor is pearl white in color, and built for strength. It has black stripe markings on the chest, arms, and legs, along with golden highlights on the shoulders and chest. His belt design is gold and has a roaring tiger with a white gem in the mouth as it’s symbol. His right shoulder has an orange sun shaped shoulder pad symbol while his left has a silver full moon shaped symbol on it. His right hand has a ruby, sun shaped jewel and his left has a silver, full moon shaped jewel. The helmet resembles a roaring tiger, with real eyes visible, having a more animalistic and biological appearance.
Elements: Fire and Light.
Weapons: Sun and Moon Swords: A pair of pearl white hook swords with golden hilts. The sword in his right hand has a ruby, sun shaped jewel in the hilt while the other has a silver full moon shaped jewel in it’s hilt.
Tiger Fangs: A pair of sais with much the same design motif as his hook swords.
Finishing Move: Sun And Moon Slash: His sun sword ignites with red fire while his moon sword becomes engulfed in a blade of light. He slashes the opponent, images of the respective celestrale bodies appearing behind him as he does so. He ends it with a double slash with an image of an eclipse.
Critical Bite: One of the sais with the sun motifi ignites on fire while the moon one gains an energy blade. He stabs the opponent in the chest with the sun sai and knocks them back with a kick to the sai's hilt. He then throws the moon sai into a vital area (head, throat, heart, ect.).
Tiger Ambush: Spins around, hooking the ends of his Hook Swords together, causing the sword at the end to ignite or become a laser blade depending which one it was. He then bisects the opponent with the hilt blade.

Name: Master Isao
Beast Knight/Black Heart Name: Akio (Glorious Hero)
Age: 1,000 Years old (though looks about 70)
Personality: Wise, understanding. He’s a bit of trickster however, and can sometimes use methods to teach that don’t seem to make sense at first but really do when you think about it. He’s mysterious, but a good friend who will always listen to those who need advice.
History: Not much is known about Master Isao’s past, except he’s a legendary Beast Knight whose fought thousands of battles and has defiantly earned his rank as a Master Beast Knight. He’s retired and hasn’t fought often, but when he does, he doesn’t need to use his Beast Merge often, as he’s an extremely skilled martial artist who can kill weaker Black Hearts with his bare hands. However, due to his advanced age, he’s not able to fight for long before he becomes too tired. As such, his fighting style normally relies on swift, powerful blows to kill the enemy quickly. But if it gets dire, he will assume the form of the Legendary Phoenix, Akio, for battle.
Armor Appearance: His armor has a vermillion base color and is very regal and powerful in appearance, but also lightweight, built more for speed than defense. It’s based off a phoenix and has a cape which he can convert into a pair of golden wings. His armor has golden highlights and a fiery golden marking on the chest and shoulder pads.
Elements: Fire and Light
Weapons: Blazing Staff: A Golden staff with orange flames flowing over it along with jewels, giving it a very regal appearance.
Inferno Swords: A pair of Chinese Broadswords. The blade is silver in color with a golden hilt marked with a phoenix symbol at the hilt.
Finishing Move:
Holy Crusher: Spins the blazing staff around rapidly, holy light radiating from it before he slams it into the opponent.
Inferno Retribution: Ignites the Inferno Swords and does a series of powerful, rapid slashes to the opponent.
Beast Soul Awakening: A master level technique of awesome power. So far few have ever seen it, and even fewer have mastered it, all that’s known it is Master Isao’s ultimate attack that no opponent has ever survived. It can be learned, but it’s a technique which Isao refuses to teach except to those who are ready.

Name: Kuro Enjeru
Black Heart Name: Terrorclaw
Age: 65, Looks around 31
Gender: Male

Personality: Kuro has a personality akin to that of stereotypical depictions of hyenas. Very aggressive, very easy to anger, very insane, and very, very merciless. Almost anything can get this guy riled, and if you do anything to tick him off, consider yourself lucky if you make it out in one piece. But, even though it seems like this guy isn't too smart, he's actually a pretty good strategist. Not the best in the world, though, and he always takes a violent approach to just about any situation. He's not trustworthy, either. Trust him with just about anything, and he will use it to his own ends, with almost no exceptions.

History: Kuro, even before his Beast Soul awakened, wasn't perfectly right in the head. He had a particularly bad habit of getting into fights with his peers. He had caught word of the enigmatic Beast Souls, and became interested in them. He thought that, in order to awaken them, you had to demonstrate strength.

So, naturally, he did this by fighting, and later, killing, as many people as he could.

Eventually, his Beast Soul did awaken, but it had adverse effects on his mind. He quickly became obsessed with using his powers to become stronger, and stronger. To get rid of all who dared challenge him, and to prove himself the strongest being on Earth. It tainted his reasoning, as well as his sanity. Even when not morphed, he showed signs of brutal, almost feral behavior. Soon, he would become a killing machine, who only believed in violence and brutality.

Blackheart Appearance: In his Blackheart form, his appearance becomes similar to that of a werewolf, with black fur coating his body, and red, slash-shaped markings on his back. His eyes turn to bright red slits, and he grows fangs. But, probably the most noticeable part of him in this form is his hands. They become hideously malformed, changing into his namesake, a pair of vicious, jagged, and unnatural claws that he uses to rip his opponents to shreds.

Elements: Darkness and Earth

Weapons: His main weapons are two gloves with wicked claws sprouting out of the knuckles. He also uses a dagger tipped with a paralyzing poison, but he doesn't normally use it. In his Black Heart form, his hands replace the use of the gloves.

Finishing Moves

Black Curtain: Kuro creates two giant, shadow-esque claws, which Kuro controls by moving his own hands. They latch onto the opponent, before literally ripping him/her in half.

Black Apocalypse: Kuro raises the ground beneath the enemy's feet, flinging him/her into the air. Kuro does the same to himself, launching himself towards the opponent, clawing him/her repeatedly, before slamming them back onto the ground. Then, right before they reach the ground, he raises the ground below them in a spike shape in order to impale his unfortunate victim.

Name: Yoko Hayasaka

Beast Knight Name: Kei Washi (Powerful Eagle)
Black Heart Name: Hagewashi no Chimatsuri (Vulture of the Bloodbath)

Age: 95 (Looks 21)

Personality: She's brave, fearless, has a reckless streak, and is very mischievous. She is also very honorable, regal, good-natured, caring, and a softie-inside a somewhat gruff outside. Deep within her though is a depressive side to her, knowing that she has the tainted blood of a Black Heart flowing within her, as she has attempted to calm down her dark blood every time she gets mad. And when she gets outright mad, she is downright murderous, she breaking limbs, smashing bone, and crushing organs.

History: She was the offspring of a forbidden love: against all odds, she is the result of Beast Knight Shinsei Shiratori (Pure/True Swan) and Black Heart Satsubatsu Hayabusa (Savage Falcon). Both were considered the greatest aerial combatants and they clashed many times, but eventually they gave up fighting with each other because of how tied they were in abilities and how senseless their fights can be. Years later, Hayabusa was slain down by Master Isao during a misunderstanding when the Black Heart was found the resting place of a nearby Beast Knight, he not living long enough to know that Shiratori was going to tell him she was carrying his chick.

A year after Yoko's birth, her mother committed suicide near Hayabusa's death site. Yoko was then adopted by her aunt, who was the secret keeper of Shiratori's relationship with Hayabusa.

Armor Appearance: Her boots have a high ridge going slightly outwards at the knee. Her boots end with a point at the toes. Her gauntlets has the same feature her boots has at the elbow, as well as small claws on her finger tips. Her helmet is that of a cawing eagle, with piercing eyes on it, with a hidden darkness to them. Her armor is strong yet form-fitting and light, which is what an aerial combatant needs. Her shoulders have raised additions to resemble tiny wings.

Her armor's color is a mix between gold highlights, brown primary, white accents, and black undertones.

Once her Black Heart blood kicks in, she sheds much of her armor to reveal gunmetal gray skin and feathers, as well as bird feet for lower legs and arms, with the talons large and hook-shaped. Her head gets ruffled, the tongue that is normally flat is raised into an arch, and the pupils of the eyes are dilated.

Elements: Fire (Beast Knight mode); Darkness (Black Heart mode)

Weapons:

As a Beast Knight:

Providence Cleaver: A halberd with an exceptionally sharp double-headed ax head and a sharp, spiral-shaped tip. Along the sides is the phoenix insignia of Yoko's family. This is her main weapon.

Brave Blades: Twin katana with a flying phoenix design from tip to sword guard, beak to tailfeather tip. The guards are shaped to resemble hawk heads. Grip cloth is gold and fire engine-red. This is her secondary offensive weapon.

Elegant Sun: A giant fan the size of Yoko herself when folded up. It requires great focus and technique to properly wield. This is her secondary defensive weapon.


As a Black Heart:

Eclipse: A battle axe with a head as big as herself. Etched onto the side is a falcon attacking a swan, and seems to be winning. This is her main weapon.

Full Moon: A crossbow with the power to channel power into the arrows. It is fashioned to look like a flying falcon. This is her secondary weapon.




Finishing Moves:

As a Beast Knight:

Hōō no Ryusei (Meteor of the Phoenix) - Yoko tosses her Providence Cleaver like a javalin while it spines, it creating a veil of fire in the shape of a phoenix.

Suisei Giri (Comet Slash) - Yoko throws her Brave Blades like they are boomerangs and shred through their targets all while on fire.

Hoshi Arashi (Star Storm) - Yoko ignites the Elegant Sun and blasts forth a blast of intense fire five times.


As a Black Heart:

Chūseishisei no Kobushi (Fist of the Neutron Star) - Yoko grabs the head with both hands and uses the power of darkness to intensify the power of her grip pressure, ending only when the head is popped like a fresh cherry.

Hissatsu Yajirushi: Eien no Yami (Hissatsu Arrow: Eternity of Darkness) - Yoko aims and fires at her target. If it hits the desired target, it will become a mini-black hole and suck up her foe, then vanishs once the foe is no more. Uses a lot of Darkness to make this brutal attack, so she has to make sure the arrow hits its intended mark, otherwise it would just be another plain arrow.

Beast Knight Name: Rippanaro (Honorable Wolf)

Age: 35 (Looks 16)

Personality: He's scared easily, not a big bruiser, and one of the guys considered to be a bench warmer when compared to his fellow Beast Knights. He is however highly idealistic and compassionate towards others.
