"You're fine..." Faere said to Drew. "It's just that everyone's still here, and if I left I'd be alone, missing out on everything." she said, yawning again.
"Well, I found this on the floor, and I wondered if it was yours." He held out a badge that looked similar in shape and colour to Sinnoh's Fen Badge, but it was bigger and had a different symbol; it had a kind of watery yin-yang theme, and there were several hazy points of coloured light as part of the design. "There's an engraving on the back, too." He read it out loud.
"7: PURITY BADGE
ZORESTIC CITY
LEADER: EVAN."
"Then where did it come from?"
"I used to be a trainer, too!" Sin chimed in. "But I don't recognise that badge. It must be from a region I never went to."
Munrö took a moment to try and imagine Sin as a trainer.
“I've never seen that badge before, either... but, yeah, I think we can try using my Pokédex...” I remembered hearing about the Unova region, though I didn't think that badge was from the Unova League. I pulled out my National Dex and scanned the badge.
Sin grabbed Alex's pokedex and scanned the badge. It displayed a map of a region she didn't recognise, and a few Japanese symbols in one corner of the screen. A red blip pulsated on a point in the ocean to the southwest of the region. She shrugged. "Well, that was pointless."
Sin tapped the symbols and the device slowly translated them. She read them from the other side of the pokedex, reading upside down. "A...ka...ni...mo? Akanimo? Is that the region or something?"
