Hey, I've been trying to come up with a deck that utilizes the new Zoroark-GX that will be released in Shining Legends. I have a few ideas but I'd appreciate feedback on what you think the best way to use Zoroark-GX will be.

Here are my thoughts:
  • Ninetales-GX and Aqua Patch. Discard water energies, bring them back using Aqua Patch.
  • Darkrai-GX (Burning Shadows). This seems really promising because Darkrai-GX can bring itself back from the discard pile with an energy attached. This is probably the way I'm most inclined to go at the moment; plus, you get Darkrai-EX (BREAKpoint) as an attacker.
  • Pikachu-EX. I have a soft spot for the Pikachu line. Pikachu-EX probably isn't the most effective way to use Zoroark, but I wonder if it could be viable with Magnezone (BREAKthrough).
  • As a tech in my current Decidueye-GX deck. Probably not making the most of Zoroark, again, and I'm not sure whether it's worth the space...
What do you think?

I'd go both of these. Use Pikachu as a back-up. I'm a fool for anything to do with Darkrai lol.

In the end, I've built several decks with Zoroark-GX; I haven't tried Golisopod-GX, but I have seen it work pretty well. My personal favorite way to use it is with Darkrai-GX and either Malamar-EX (in expanded) or Nihilego-GX (in standard -- sounds crazy, but it's working well), and go 2-2 with the non-GX BKT Zoroark. Its attack is better and Stand In is a great ability when you're using Nihilego... it's like the only viable Nihilego combo I've worked out.

Some people did try Ninetales-GX. It wasn't too great, though. I've also heard of Decidueye-GX/Zoroark-GX, but... for the moment, I'll stick to my oddball Darkrai combo decks...
