Bide and Double Kick confusion

So I'm just writing a simple text based Pokemon battle simulator in C++ (just to be like, hey I made a program). I was going down the move lists on Bulbapedia and I'm up to Bonemerang now. I noticed the secondary effect only says that Bide will only acknowledge the second strike of this move. Double Kick says for both Bide and Counter that they will only acknowledge the last attack of the move. However upon going to pokemondb.net, both Double Kick and Bonemerang say that The move Counter only counters the final hit, but Bide counters the complete damage.

Can someone clear up the confusion please?o_O Would be much appreciated. Thanks!
