Leon's emotions were in conflict once again. Just like the night before, his darker impulses had been so close to indulgence, only to be denied closure at the last moment. Part of him still wanted to harm someone, and the other half was still trying to maintain control. Struggling to remain stable, he left the cafe, running wordlessly until he found a tree a short distance away, which he immediately started to tear into with his blade.
His hope was to satiate his bloodlust by exhausting himself, but even as he slashed the tree, his anger was still clearly present. If anything, it seemed to be getting worse by every slash. His blade continued to glow more and more brightly as he struck the tree, while Troy and Juliet's words continued to echo in Leon's mind. Before too much longer, Leon let out an almost inhuman shout, his blade suddenly releasing a slash of dark, bloodred energy that cut straight through the tree.
