Leon slashed another Skill User with his glowing blade, the attacker falling down as Leon's eyes scanned for a new target. The adrenaline felt good, but he needed more. He needed a challenge. He vanished in a flash of light, warping around as he searched for someone else to battle as he resumed making his way towards the base.

The gator let out a roar, suffering as it heard Mordic's screech and the assault on its ears. It glared at the Wendigo before roaring once more and beginning to charge at her, crashing against her body and beginning to run with her. Eventually the two broke through the glass wall of the mall nearby as the gator threw Mordic aside.

However, durinig the gator's charge Mordic received something she hadn't expected. As she had been taken to the mall she began to see flashes of what seemed like someone else's memories go into her eyes. They showed a short, brown haired girl sitting in a room by herself, staring at magazines and posters showcasing different skill users. The momories began to shift, showing her standing next to her father who in turn stood on top of a podium, accepting the title of mayor, she didn't seem happy at all. With each flash Mordic was able to see the girl's life through her head, how she cursed the fact she was born a normal person, how she wished she could go out and travel like the heroes she admired, how she met a person that could grant her wish, and how that wish had turned her into the rampaging monster that Mordic was fighting now.

"Well there you are," came a shrill and psychotic voice from behind Leon, th evoice coming from the sword woman that they had supposedly captured before. "I'm so lucky I got to see you after getting out," she laughed, her black hair dishevelled and falling over her eyes.

The concrete woman gritted her teeth before crouching downwards, barely avoiding the flames. She put her hand on the ring and surrounded it in concrete, only to fire the hand shaped piece of concrete at Hazel's stomach.

Leon quickly spun around when he heard the voice behind him, surprised when he saw the psycho from his first mission. As he moved his blade to a more defensive stance, the markings on his arms began to glow, a mocking tone audible in his voice as he responded.

"Oh yes how could I forget? The psychotic temptress with an obsession with singers and a power she couldn't control. What makes you think this battle will go any better than your last pathetic attempt?"

Mordic let out another headsplitting screech, though it was much shorter than the first and only lasted a second or two. The impact and sent her crashing into a wall, a small crack forming along her heart of ice. Breathing heavily, she stood up and got a glimpse of the girl's life. It made her somewhat sad for the girl, but angry at the same time. She had a much more carefree childhood than her. Anger flowing off of her in waves, her skeletal body seemed to shudder visibly as she studied her opponent again.

Hazel quickly dodged the small amount of concrete by swiftly stepping aside. She then proceeded to project more fire at the women.

"Because I have this!" the woman exclaimed, taking out two vaccines from her pocket before injecting herself with both of them, causing veins to pop out all around her body as energy started to surround her. "A double doses should do the trick!"

Maise gritted her teeth, holding her hands forward to block one of the flames, only for her arms to be smacked aside before another one of Hazel's attacks hit her on the side of the face. She let out a loud wail as she stepped back, feeling part of the left side of her face burn due to the fire ball she had received. She clutched onto it, her eyes glaring at Hazel as she took out a vaccine from her pocket.

The gator looked at Mordic, roaring loudly before firing a barrage of fireballs at Mordic.

"Or make you burn out twice as fast" Leon remarked, mildly impressed by the amount of energy the woman was emitting. As she began to undergo the physical changes, he chuckled to himself, tossing his jacket aside as his arms' markings began to emit a red light. Within moments, the ominous aura from earlier had returned, along with a noticeable change in Leon's tone of voice.

"Still, good to know I don't have to hold back. This time I can personally end you, assuming you don't overdose from that idiot stunt you just pulled."

While the man had taken Damien through windows, Damien had summoned stainless steel from cutlery onto his skin, causing less damage to be taken from the flying blur. When he got dropped off, Damien made a giant spoon scoop him up and catapult him up. While he was catapulted up, Damien made a spoon appear under his feet, resulting into him spoon surfing down to the abandoned train station and faced the blue haired man,

"Batman, I don't know who you and where you've taken me, but it better be a good reason - I just got taken out of BH jail. And you, my blue haired, bat winged friend are observant." He commented.

"If you would stop, I wouldn't have to kill you." Mordic snarled, her voice sounding agitated. Lunging forth, she slashed right above the gator's eyes, trying to blind her as the blood trickled into her solar plexus.

Hazel took the moment to apply pressure to the wound on her head. The cloth she used was beginning to dampen, so it wouldn't last for much longer. Once she saw the woman take out the needle, Hazel immediately rushed toward her and attempted to kick her to the ground.

Each of the blasts dealt a noticeable amount of damage to Nova. Lifting his hands, made the cloud of radiation encircle him further, blocking the brunt of the attacks. His armor was going to be useless soon if he didn't think of a way out of this.

OOC: I didn't say blue hair :p I said black hair and dark skin.

"It's not like you can kill me anyways," the woman hissed as she looked at Leon, her arms taking the form of blades as she charged forward at her, her speed having increased from the last time they had fought.

"You sure talk a lot, spoon boy," the man pointed out as he looked at Damien, letting out a low sound through out the room that Damien wasn't able to pick up as he looked at him. "Why don't you come at me," he grinned.

The gator girl roared, clearly unable to understand or process what Mordic was saying as she charged forward at teh girl, her mindless eyes glaring at her as they ignored the blood and slammed a fist on Mordic's side.

The woman waited as Hazel charged at her, only for her to jump up in the air, spinning around and causing Hazel to run past her as she landed on the other side of the ring.

"And your blasts aren't the only thing I've been collecting!" he yelled out as multiple rounds of fire, electricity, and other attacks began to fire from the portals. "This is revenge for what you did to me last time you fucking freak!" he yelled out in rage.

Mordic was quicker however, and leaped over the gator. In one last attempt to end the battle before it got ugly, she tried to put a message in the girl's mind.

Skills are a curse, not a gift.. How could you be so blind? Stop. I don't want to-

The connection had shorted out as the wendigo finally had a bit of control. It willed her to bite down on one of the gator's fists.

Rick's blades clashed with that of his opponent. She had leaped at him when he had turned a corner, as he had not been bothering to cloak himself. Her blades were coated with a dangerous white fire, which contrasted neatly with his own black laser swords. The hum of combat overtook the two of them and they circled each other as they fought. Both were skilled with a blade and neither could press an advantage. Rick's eyes closed for a moment, he could feel her movements better if he focused in on her mental state rather than watching the bright lights of her blades. Ducking underneath a slash, he stabbed with the blade in his left hand. It hit home, slicing her black armor that matched his own. He heard her gasp, which stopped him for just a moment.

"Who are you?" He asked quietly. "And why do you fight like this."

"Victoria." She gave her name coldly. "And because you skill users have ran things for far too long."

Rick sighed, he was never one for dramatic speeches. "We've always tried to do good by everyone." He mused.

"And yet you are so blind." She muttered, attacking once more.

Nova wasn't able to move from his spot, still bombarded by the attacks from all angles. It was starting to wear on his endurance, having to block all of them.

"You really must be naive if you think killing is the only way to end someone" Leon growled as he leapt back, red energy flowing from his markings to form a hazy red sphere. The instant he touched the ground, he threw the condensed energy sphere towards the charging woman, immediately following it with an energy slash from his blade. If his aim was correct, the two would collide near her and explode instantly, similar to what he'd done to escape the teleporting girl earlier.

Hazel managed to stop herself before she ran into the wall. She swiftly turned around and shot a bolt of lightning at her. She wanted to finish this quickly; the cloth on her head would become soaked and useless soon. She was also becoming a bit dizzy.

The gator girl let out a loud wail, stepping back as it began shaking her hand around, managing to break away from Mordic, though her hand had been pierced by her and was now bleeding. The gator panted, falling to her knees as it looked down at the floor. At that moment it let out a painful roar, her eyes beginning to regain some humanity as her body started to convulse and shrink down. Her skin in turn began to turn back to normal and her body two began to resemble that of the girl in Mordic's visions. Once it was over the girl was kneeling there, panting loudly and looking down at the floor.

"Now I'll finish this," Edgar snickered, stretching his arm out and opening a large portal in front of Nova. The portal began to absorb air into itself, increasing the pressure around Noval and threatening to absorb him inside as well.

***

The sword woman saw Leon's attack and crouched down, only to jump up and spin around in the air. She fell down behind her and spun around slashing at Leon's back from up close so that he wouldn't be able to teleport in time.

***

Maise turned around, quickly turning her whole body into concrete as the electricity crashed with it, allowing her to take the full brunt of it. She then moved her arms back, causing the ring to split off, pieces being sent falling to the floor as the only thing left was a piece where Hazel and the woman stood, leaving no room to move around as they could only go towards each other. "No more dodging," the woman panted, her concrete body clenching around as she charged at Hazel once more, holding her fist back.

Kai noticed both Juliet and Leon going off to their own fights, causing him to look back to Hazel as well just as she was brought up into the air. He closed his eyes and turned away, knowing that going to help them out would only cause more trouble. And yet he couldn’t help but think back to Tyler, wonder where he was and if he would have to fight him for real.

He thought back to his high school days when he and Tyler used to be friends and how he had originally helped him out when he was being bullied. He never had many friends in high school, mostly due to his family, a lot of people were afraid of approaching someone that came down from the strongest guild.

He was brought out of his thoughts once he saw Tyler standing not too far from him, his hooded figure amidst all the chaos from the fights, walking normally as if nothing was happening around him.

He stopped, the noises around him becoming numb as he and Tyler looked at each other, with his friend lowering his hood so that he could show his face clearly to Kai. “It’s a wonderful night don’t you think?” he asked as he looked up at the shining moon and stars in the sky above the city. “It was on a night like this that you betrayed me.”

“You wanted me to mistreat people.”

“People that deserved it,” Tyler countered, his eyes glaring at Kai. “Instead you mistreated me and had me get captured, I’m lucky that I was able to escape that small prison I was put in, and I got to work on my drug too,” he said, taking notice of the fights around them once more. “Granted they’re still not perfect, the side effects are many and the powers are still not permanent.”

Kai gritted his teeth, fists clenched. “Stop acting like some kind of clichéd mastermind! You’re just causing trouble for everyone here!”

“I’m giving poor innocent people the wishes that they so wanted for their whole lives,” Tyler replied, glaring at Kai. “People who lived their lives feeling like they were worthless, having to look at Skill Users as if they were above them while they had to be forced to live in a world with limits. You guys get to go around, see the world, experience things no one else can and we have to stay chained up and look at you from afar!”

“You think we don’t have our own shit too! You think we don’t lose parents? Or get bullied or feel worthless!” Kai yelled out, his mind wandering as he remembered everyone in the Guild, their experiences and the things that he had both been told and noticed as well as thinking of his own life. “You think Skill Users don’t go around feeling like they’re misunderstood, at least people like you get to have a chance at a normal life, we…from the moment we’re born we can’t be sure of whether we’ll die in our beds or on the cold floor somewhere one day,” he leaned back before jumping forward, his body speeding through as he slammed a fist onto Tyler’s cheek. “I don’t give a shit about your damn whining anymore!”

Kai threw his left fist forward, aiming for Tyler’s stomach. However, just as his fist was about to collide it was caught by Tyler’s hand. Kai stood agape, noticing that Tyler was wearing the Cyborg Academy’s Powersuit underneath his cloak. Before he could react though he was hit by a kick to the side from Tyler, causing him to be thrown aside.

“Stop talking as if Skills were a bad thing!” Tyler laughed, grabbing a hold of Kai and punching him in the gut, making him begin to cough up. “You just don’t know how good you have it.”

Their blades hummed as they clashed, the deadly weapons moving faster than the un-enhanced naked eye could see. Rick and Victoria continued to duel, he now pressing an advantage. The girl had suffered numerous minor wounds, but her armor kept her from suffering critical damage. Rick had asked her twice more to give up her battle, but she had said nothing. It was painful for him to continue to attack her as he felt something, that she was not a bad person. She was just misguided and she had been warped and taken advantage of. Rick was trying to figure out how to end the fight without causing undue harm to the girl.

In his anger, grief and anguish, Todd had turned into a terrifying foe. He had lost all control over his temper and as such powerful elemental skills were being thrown in every direction. Juliet had brought up a powerful psychic barrier and she was barely holding. Fire and ice and darkness and light and water and thunder clashed against the barrier as Juliet planned her counter-attack. And then she struck, driving a mind spike into Todd's mind.

She found herself sitting in a darkened room. Troy and Terrance were playing pool and Juliet was sitting in Todd's lap, idly playing with his hair.

"I don't understand Rose... even after everything you've done to us... even after you murdered Terrance and... and what you did to Troy... why do I still love you?" Todd asked her.

"Because I'm me." Juliet replied knowingly. "And because you're into the black widow type." She mused, standing up and going over to the fully stocked bar.

"You really are a cold bitch, you know that right?" Todd asked as Juliet mixed herself a drink.

"When you're nothing more than the result of an experiment, that tends to happen." She said vaguely, taking a long sip from her glass. "At least you always had good taste in vodka." Juliet added as she walked back over to Todd.

"Are you at least taking care of the place?" He asked her softly as she sat back down.

"And everything in it." She said, leaning over. "Goodbye Todd." Juliet said softly, kissing him tenderly on the lips for a long moment. His world then went black, Juliet returning to her own body. Again she shuddered as the waves of ecstasy overcame her. Pure pleasure and pure pain hit her receptors in waves and the sensation threatened to overload her. She had never taken two in such quick succession but now she understood why she should never do such a thing. It would threaten to consume her, become an addiction she could never shake. But it felt so good, she wouldn't care.

Damien moaned and face palmed, "Why does everyone call me spoon boy? It's not like I just control spoons or anything. Cutlery boy would be an improvement. " he groaned as he ranted on. "Why don't YOU come at me?" He asked, before sending a barrage of knives across to him.

As soon as they were sent at him, they tumbled aimlessly to the ground at the bat guys feet before disappearing in a silver light. Damien watched, appalled and shocked as his attacks failed. He laughed weakly like it was a joke, but knew to something was wrong. He tried to summon a single fork, but he couldn't. Just then, the spoon he was riding on disappeared in silver sparks and he fell to the ground before rolling to the ground. His suspicions layed on his enemy.

"Alright, what'd you do to me?" He said, looking directly at the bat guy.
