After several minutes of staring at the blood-drained, eaten brothers, Mordic slowly got to her feet, her legs threatening to collapse under her as she shakily began to walk away. She should've felt better, but she didn't. She saved that girl, didn't she? Mordic could only hope as she jumped down onto the streets and slowly left the block.

"Agreed," Felicity said to Chrome. Her and Gabriel had worked as a wonderful team to take down multiple fake skill users until Kai began fighting Tyler. Gabriel then had left her on her own to watch over the fight.

And he had almost stepped in when Kai went psycho. Luckily Lovo took care of it. Thus the half breed decided to walk over to Tyler instead. "You shouldn't talk in case of any major injuries," he told him emotionless.

"You've always been a big softie Rick." Juliet said from behind the ninja, who was carrying Victoria towards the base in his arms bridal style.

"Can you help her?" Rick asked softly, knowing Juliet could do a lot of things.

"I'm no medic but I can suppress the bleeding with my powers somewhat." She replied, doing just that. A little color returned to Victoria's porcelain skin.

"You feel different to me. More alive. More... deadly." Rick mused. "And yet... your heart is back."

"And don't you tell a soul about that last part." Juliet muttered with a grin. "But I do feel better. My dad's presence was a cancer, one that needed to be removed. Now my mind is mine and I am free."

Hazel continued walking forward, but instantly froze upon spotting Kai and Lovo. His injuries appeared far worse than her own. She quickly made her way towards the two, and immediately took note of Tyler, who was also there. She glanced back at Lovo with a frown and asked, "Do you know what happened?"

"Yeah we're...relatively okay at least," Lovo reassured Damien once he noticed him walking over to them. "How about you?"

Kai looked over towards Hazel, noticing the wound on her head and immediately becoming worried, only for him to start feeling sore over his own wounds as he turned towards her. "It was a tough fight, though I guess we both had one," he said with a nervous laugh as he hid his right hand away, feel nervous as he tried his best to leave out the part where he went out of control. "I just...I just had to be tough on Tyler."

Tyler looked towards Gabriel, scoffing. "Don't act like you care now, not after what that monsters did to me, you're all just going to relax after this and keep living comfortable lives."

Leon eventually made his way to the others, though it was not without a few more fights. On top of that, as if the bright flashes of light weren't enough to announce his presence, most of these battles ended with explosive shockwaves. It seemed as if he had grown fond of his new technique.

Once he did reach the others, he was a bit worn down. His entire body was still faintly glowing, and his blade had definitely seen some use. But, aside from some tears in his black shirt and the missing jacket, he seemed to be alright. Upon hearing Tyler however, he had to remark in his usual sarcastic tone.

"Yeah, because having our Cafe destroyed, two members nearly go on a blood rage, having more than half of our guild arrested, and then fighting a small war sounds like a really comfortable life. If we were normal, we'd be looking at a few years of therapy at this point."

Mordic kept on walking, the sounds of her guildmates echoing in the distance. The white haired girl glanced back to where Kai and the others were, seeming to give an apologetic look. Then, she grew a few feet taller and bolted into the night. The wendigo had eventually began racing upon the rooftops, in a way to draw less attention.

Hazel narrowed her eyes at Kai slightly; his nervous behavior was suspicious to her. "That doesn't exactly answer my question you know," she said to him, frowning. "I'm just glad to see you're alive," she continued, looking at him a moment longer. She then looked over at Lovo. "Can you tell me what actually happened?"

"Are you sure? Well...I knocked out batman with a brick over the head at an abandoned train station." Damien said awkwardly, still concerned over both of them. After a moments pause, he said, "But that's not important right now - I too also want to know, what happened at your end."

"Well this isn't going to be pretty," Felicity said after hearing Tyler's comment.

Gabriel yanked Tyler from the ground and slammed him against the wall. His wings unfurling from his back to their full length, the gradient from the darkest black to the lightest of whites illuminated by the current time of the day. "Monster? The only monster here is you. What Kai did to you was nothing, and if it wasn't for the BHA laws, I would kill you for all the lives that you've taken, which in my culture is a lot better than what we do to the worst of criminals. You think being a skill user makes life easy? I'm a skill user and I had a hell of a hard life. Barely lived through my birth. Constantly needing medical attention. Do you know how horrible it is to hear your whole kind look down on you, to have to have your sister defend you from bullies because no one else does and because you can't breath when they attack. To have a father so great to his own kind, and fail to measure up because of partial paralysis. To have a mother who is an amazing skill user and not inherit that, but rather hear about how great of one your sister is as well. Nineteen. That's how old I was when I could finally use my wings. For nineteen years I carried dead weight on my back until I fell off a cliff and would have died if they didn't work at that moment. And the first time I used them I broke them. Do you know the pain of realigning a wing. And the paralysis still happens. There are still times I can't feel them."

"Twenty one was the age when I got my skill. And I had no one to teach me. I hurt myself so many times, over-exhausted myself so many times trying to get even a semblance of control over it. Tell me does that life sound wonderful? Does that sound like an easy life? You think Kai is a monster because his demon half came out. You think his life, that all of our lives are easy because we have skills. If life was easy I would know my mother's family. Hazel would have her leg. Mordic wouldn't have fighting minds and Nova wouldn't be stuck in armor."

"You're an idiot and a monster because a monster is someone who hurts innocents intentionally. And so many lost their lives because of you. You had it good. You created something amazing, but instead of using it thoughtfully and for good, you used it selfishly. Everyone dead because of you, everyone with family mourning. All that blood is on your hands. Do us all a favor and go kill yourself because we can't do it for you. Monsters don't deserve life, especially idiotic ones like you." And at that, Gabriel finally let him go.

"That is nothing," he responded to Leon. "Those events are nothing," he told him, obviously in a snappy mood.

"You know dad would have punched him and said something like go to hell, so you did a lot better," Felicity said to him, giving him a double thumbs up and a ridiculous smile. Gabriel couldn't help but laugh at his sister's ridiculousness.

"Nice wings. So you're half something not human," Nix commented.

Gabriel looked behind and paled seeing that he had let his anger control him too much and let his wings unfurl, un-shadowed.

"Honestly I thought you were just creating shadow wings during the fights but I guess you were just covering them up. Makes sense since you suck at using your skill," he shrugged, a slight smile on his face.

Gabriel just covered his face with his hands and furled back his wings, afraid of how others would react. Namely his fellow guild members.

Felicity on the other hand shot a look at Nix that told him she wanted to ease her brother into knowing what he had done. With a sigh she walked over and placed her hand on his shoulder in a comforting manner.

Hazel's face paled upon seeing what happened to Gabriel. She had no idea about any of it, especially the revealing of his wings. She turned look watch him as he spoke, only to notice her face paling even more upon the mention of her own situation. She had no idea he knew about how she lost her leg. Was it really that obvious? Her thoughts quickly faded to that of Juliet, and most importantly of her ability to read minds. Since the two used to be in close contact, it would only make sense for Gabriel to know. Her only concern was the extent of this knowledge. She didn't like people knowing about it.

Kai was about to reply Hazel with the truth, at least until he saw Gabriel become completely enraged and slammed Tyler against a wall. He listened carefully to him, clenching his fists as he heard Gabriel detail both his story and some of the other's, not really knowing what he should say or do in that type of situation. Part of him was grateful that Gabriel had defended him and the others, the other one on the other hand felt bad because he wasn't able to really get Tyler to understand, even if he knew that that had been an impossible goal from the start.

Once Gabriel had finished with his rant Tyler simply fell down to the floor, his body now unconscious after receiving that final hit. "Well...victory?" Lovo questioned, looking around at the destroyed plaza. "At least with a successful mission you guys should be in the clear, I don't know what that'll mean for the tension rising with the public but we can just let the BHA handle that mess," Lovo shrugged, turning towards the others. "I'm sorry that you all had to go through so much today."

Kai walked over to Hazel, no longer clutching onto her hand. "Well...I can't give you much detail on what happened but, I guess if I had to say it then I kind of lost control back there," He stated, looking away nervously. "I'm not entirely human, I'm a half Demon just like Mordic is, a really rare species."

"Well you and your brother did pretty well at least," Chrome chuckled as he turned towards Felicity. "You've really gotten a hand of this business."

The force of the portal, combined with the heat and force from the surrounding attacks had still proven too much. Nova felt his armor failing him. He knew it was close; the burning he felt on his skin was evidence to that. Over-exertion was near. A part of his helmet chipped away, revealing his face and reddened skin.

Then, he released; a massive, outward blast was wrought forth, releasing both intensity and radiation in its wake. Around him, spanning a large radius, the battlefield burned as he yelled out from the sudden outburst. It was explosive, dangerous to both he and those caught within.

"Guess I'm learning a lot of new things about everyone here today," Hazel quietly said. "An easier question would be who isn't a demon or half creature?"

Nova's blast was enough to engulf Edgar, the man screaming loudly as he quickly created a portal and jumped through out, the damage had been done though and it was obvious he wouldn't be able to last too much. Before Nova's blast could spread out more though a barrier formed around it, the barrier containing the explosion and radiation that was inside.

"That could've been bad," Jason pointed out as he stood just outside of the barrier as it began to absorb the energy from the explosion and radiation into itself. "Now I wonder how we should deal with this guy."

Kai actually chuckled at this before he looked around them. " Pretty much everyone but Mordic, Gabriel and me as far as I know," he pointed out before letting out a sigh. "Still its probably best if we don't think abotu it too much for now. We've had a really tough day," he said before letting out a yawn, noticing that the sun was already starting to peak on the horizon. He then looked at Tyler once more. "Is it bad I kind of feel bad for him...especially it was my fault he's in this state."

"Well we have been trained since young," Felicity grinned before hearing Kai. "It's not your fault. He's the one that chose to makes those choices and he's the one who chose to be a true monster. The only one to blame is himself," she told him, her face dead serious.

"Yeah but-"

"We've all had friends that we couldn't save," Lovo added, a somber expression on his face as he looked down at Tyler's unconscious bodies. "Sometimes the bond we have with them is thicker than you think," he stated, turning towards Kai. "At least you didn't have to kill Tyler, a choice that others can't afford to make."

"Yeah, you're lucky he didn't die or something," Hazel said, her first thought being that of her little sister. She lifted her hand to the bandage covering her wound. "I might need something more thick to cover this," she commented. "I was hit in the head with some concrete. Not sure my tank top will last forever."

"Yeah, wouldn't wanna flash the whole city," Kai commented, crossing his arms slightly. "Actually, maybe I can help," he pointed out as he walked over towards her. "I can't really control other's blood but if I focus hard enough I think I can at least close the wound for now."

"For now?" Hazel asked, hesitant about what Kai was going to do.
