Once Rick had dropped Victoria at the base hospital (he stayed to be with her), Juliet returned to find the rest of them. "Everyone alright?" She asked, smiling brightly. Unlike the others, she felt great and didn't know all of the revelations that the others had shared. Except for Kai, but that's only because she had grown up with him and she had already known his family secrets. She had also seen Gabriel's wings just before he had put them away, but she would wait for that.

"Just trust me," Kai nodded his head before unbandaging Hazel's wound, putting his hands close to her head as much as he could before closing his eyes. At that moment he began to let out energy, his hands clenching in the air as he began to try and slowly close Hazel's wound, a feeling that was sent to her through a slight tingle due to the skin putting itself back together.

"Yeah we're mostly fine," Lovo replied towards Juliet. "How about you?" he asked with worry, knowing the state she had been in before.

Nova was on his knees after the blast, wheezing and coughing as the smoke cleared from his helmet. That discharge was definitely powerful; he couldn't tell whether or not Edgar had taken damage, nor did he know if he was gone. It did, however, do a good bit of damage to Nova, with his overheating threatening to harm him. With his skin exposed to the elements, and the armor losing power, his body was now just freely leaking radiation all around him.

"Considering my idiot father was finally good for something and I'm not dying anymore." Juliet smiled at this. "I'm pretty good." She looked over at Gabriel. It didn't take psychic powers to see that he was upset. But with her current influx from the souls of Troy and Todd, his anguish was palpable to the point that it was giving her a slight headache. But there was no time for such things and she went beside him and simply rested her head gently on his shoulder. It wasn't time for words.

Gabriel finally removed his hands from his face, spreading his wings again, pushing Juliet from him, face unreadable as he left the group with a slight run and single upstroke of his wings.

Juliet frowned as she watched Gabriel fly away. "Does he really think I'm going to judge him for those wings?" She asked sadly. "Me of all people."

"You're an idiot," Felicity rolled her eyes. "You don't know him so don't assume things about him," she said sounding tired as she walked away as well.

"God I hate that girl." Juliet muttered under her breath. "I really wish Chrome would have let me teach her the meaning of respect before I left."

"We all have our insecurities. After this all cleans up, I think he'll come to" Leon remarked, watching the two leave with a look of minor disappointment on his face. His body was still faintly glowing, as red energy raced along his body, slowly seeping into any open wounds and causing them to heal. Upon hearing Juliet's remark about respect, however, a thought occured to Leon, and after a moment of hesitation, he sighed and spoke again.

"Speaking of respect.....I'm sorry for the stupid stuff I said back at the bakery. I was pissed about the cafe, and I wasn't thinking clearly."

Hearing Leon's apology, Juliet turned to him and smiled gently. "It's alright... I wasn't exactly at my best back there... as far as can be really." She said a bit sadly. "I think we both said things that shouldn't have been said, so I'm good with letting bygones be bygones." She mused. "As long as you help me rebuild the bar back at the cafe."

"Deal" Leon replied, holding out one hand towards Juliet as he smiled back. The glowing was almost gone at this point, with the majority of the excess energy he'd drained from Fake Skill Users having either been burned off or stored safely.

"It's good to have you back Juliet"

"Okay maybe I really can't do this at low capacity," Kai groaned before sighing and turning to Juliet. "Juliet, take Hazel to the hospital wing too so that she can get her wound checked up fast," he stated before seeing the explosion that Nova had caused, causing him to turn towards the direction of the noise with urgency. "That...is not good," he blinked. "Juliet, Take Hazel, the rest follow me," he commanded before beginning to run towards where the explosion had occured.

Jason had been keeping Nova inside of the barrier that he had used to shield explosion. However, he knew that even the barrier would have to come down at some point for them to fix the problem with his armor. "What happened here?" Kai asked in shock as he ran over to him.

"He was fighting against one of those fake skill users and exploded, I manage encase it and the radiation at least," Jason replied as he saw the others walk towards him. "As far as I know we can't really get close to him or touch him or the radiation will affect us, at least unless we put thse on him," he explained, taking out a pair of cuffs similar to the ones they had used to capture the others before.

Kai looked at the cuffs before turning towards Nova, a pained expression as he looked at his fellow guildmate. He knew that Nova's power was strong, but that it also came with a big toll on the guy himself, one that he didn't know how to fix or could ever hope to know. With that he grabbed the cuffs from Jason's hands, shocking the Paladin. "Get rid of the barrier," he said as he turned his whole skin into metal and began approaching Nova.

"Hey there, you sure went all out huh?" Kai pointed out as he walked up to his friend and smiled before sliding on the cuffs, ignoring the heat that he felt crawling over him as he put them on Nova. "Don't worry man, you'll be okay."

"Good to be back..." She started to say before everything quickly went to hell again. Nodding, she gently took Hazel's hand. "It'll just be a quick hop."

Seconds later, the pair appeared inside the base hospital and Hazel was brought into the same room that Victoria was in for treatment. Rick frowned at the arrival, he sitting in a chair by the other girl's bedside.

"Damn. Hazel you alright?" He asked quietly.

Nova's breathing was still harsh, though the consistent pain had disappeared once the cuffs were on. He couldn't lift his head, so he only opted to speak. "Th-thank... you..." His body was still under a lot of stress, but he didn't dare let himself lose consciousness.

"Don't worry about it," Kai nodded his head before chuckling as he went back to normal, putting Nova's arms over his shouler before turning around and lifting him onto his back. "Now let's go get s...this armor's heavy," he groaned as he began to walk towards the others.

It had been a little over a month since the battle against the fake Skill Users and winter had finally hit Central City full stop, with snow already beginning to fall over the city, coating it in a gentle white sheet. Christmas was also approaching and as thus holiday sales were booming, santas were in the street and toys were on high demand as well as eggnog and other christmas stuff.

Today was also the day in which the reconstructions for Void Cafe finally ended and in front of the new building stood Lovo and Lyra. "It's finally done, I'm quite proud myself," Lovo smiled.

"Kai wasn't too happy about he fact you used a large part of the guild's budget for it though," Lyra sighed.

"Forget him, they work for me and my shopw as destroyed so that's what he gets," Lovo crossed his arms and grinned. "Besides, they're getting a good deal out of this."

Standing where Void Cafe used to be was a completely new building. The cafe itself had been reestructured to have two floors, the usual bottom one and an upper floor with a terrace where many tables and umbrellas had been set up. The cafe itself was shaded in a gentle cream color and the name of the cafe tood proudly Across the wall.

Over the cafe stood a three to four story building overlooking the area, the building in turn was designed as an apartment complex and had the words Knight's Void across it.

"By living under the same roof they'll be able to tend to missions faster," Lovo nodded his head. "Plus no rent...now that you convinced me," he frowned at Lyra.

***

Kai was sitting down in a library near Gabriel's apartment, a small pile of bookes next to him as he stared down at the page he was reading, the sound of christmas music resounding quietly throughout the building as he read. He looked around at the empty library, basking in the calmness for a moment before closing the book. "Well I guess that's enough for today," he said to himself as he stood up and grabbed the christmas themed red hoodie on the chair next to him, putting it over his black sweater as he grabbed the books and began making his way to put them back.

As he made his way out of the library he proceeded to take out his phone, plugging his earphones in before pocketing the phone once more and beginning to walk. He couldn't stop staring at the streets and people as he walked, enjoying the feeling of snow and the view it gave the city. Having come from a city where it never snowed but still being so close to Central had made Kai dream of one day being able to play in it, even if it wasn't enough to actually do anything with it. "I gotta stop having such childish thoughts," he sighed to himself.

Over the last month Knight's Void had been taking a break from missions in order to rest up and recover from the events of the battle, only meeting up at the university where they would talk and such. Still things hadn't exactly been in tip top shape. Kai hadn't been able to get much information out of Tyler and neither had the rest of the BHA, they instead found out that he had a mind block put on him, one so strong that even the best PSI users weren't able to crack it.

The other thing on his mind was his awakening as a Demon. While this hadn't caused him any trouble like the one Mordic has that still didn't stop Kai from being afraid, he neverknew when his Demon blood would awaken once more or if he could stop it. His dad had warned him and his sister throughout their life of what to do if it were to happen sure, but actually having gone through it Kai realized that it really wasn' as easy as he thought, especially if he didn't know how to control it properly.

With that Kai decided to give up on his thoughts for the time being and made his way to Gabriel's apartment, where he had been staying for the last month. "I'm back!" he called out as he walked inside and took off his hoodie. "I got a message from Lovo too, looks like the cafe has finally re-opened and he says he's got something so show us."

Jack had shown up to Juliet's apartment to help her move some stuff over from her old place. She had resisted moving in since her old pad was nicer, but the no rent part of the deal was tough to turn down. When her father arrived, she noticed right away that he looked rather annoyed.

"Did you have any idea that trains were so slow and that cabs were so expensive?" Jack asked his daughter, who rolled her eyes. It was a slow process getting used to being powerless as he had always been an incredibly powerful PSI adept for as long as he could remember. Not being able to teleport or read minds or even light a cigarette without a lighter was something he was coping with.

"Dad, you'll get used to it." Juliet said with a soft smile and Jack nodded. It did serve as quite a bit of a comfort that Jack had sacrificed his gifts to save his daughter's life. As he had said before, it was a trade he would make every time without hesitation.

"More importantly, what do you want for Christmas? And do you have any idea what your mother wants?" Jack asked her quietly. Juliet chuckled.

"Dad, you've always known exactly what to get... you didn't!" Juliet gasped, realizing how her father had always picked the perfect gift. She slapped him lightly on the shoulder. "Dad!" Juliet shouted accusingly, now knowing that Jack's Christmas secret had been mind reading.

"I was a psychic, what did you expect!" Jack retorted, the word was feeling weird to say for him. "So, what do you girls want?" He repeated.

"It's just good to have a family again." Juliet said softly and Jack felt his heart shatter as he looked into his daughter's teary eyes.

Gabriel had been reserved for the last month, afraid to see the others after the whole thing with his wings. Mordic and Kai were nothing being well half human and all. He stuck to school work. And also waiting for a return call. Felicity just so happened to be visiting him. "Ooh sounds exciting care if I join you?" she smirked knowing Kai wouldn't be happy about it. Gabe had actually worked as the buffer between the two whenever she was over.

Gabriel sighed. That meant he would have to go to the cafe. "Guess we should head out then," he sighed. He really wasn't looking forward to it. He really didn't want to see the others.

``````````````
Meanwhile a woman with length waist layered white hair, violet eyes, and paper white skin walked up to the cafe. She wore a simple black winter coat with faux fur on the hood, and blue jeans that went into some knee high winter boots, a gold locket shaped like a leaf hanging from her neck. "Excuse me are you open?" she asked with a friendly smile.
Mordic was inside of the cafe, having been there for a while as she sipped on herbal tea. The events of the last month were constantly in her thoughts, and it was impossible to get rid of them. Especially when she had slipped into that girl's memories. Sighing softly, she leaned back and closed her crimson eyes.
Kai looked at Gabriel, a sad expression on his face as he remembered that he had kept to himself ever since the fight. He had tired to get him to talk to the others more but he always seemed to be feeling bad about it. "Oh we also have that secret santa thing for tomorrow," he explained before turning towards Felicity. "And sure you can come if you want, I was thinking of asking the others from your guild if they wanted to."
***
Lovo and Lyra turned towards the woman, the two of them noticing that there seemed to be a familiar aura around her. They didn't think too much of it though and instead smiled at her. "Yeah, we just re opened actually," Lovo cleared up as he walked over towards the door and opened it for the woman. "Please feel free to come in."
The inside of the cafe resembled the outside greatly, except that now the room was bigger and had more seats and booth. There were also a pair of tvs installed on each corner of there roof, parallel to each other. The bar was also bigger and shinier just like the newly boarded wooden floor. They also had gotten new equiptment too such as a new coffee machine and dessert bar that showcased different pastries.
Inside of Central International East Airport a man walked down the aisle, his plan having just arrived to the city. He looked around in awe as he paced through the aiport, rolling his luggage along as he did. He was wearing a long sleeved black jacket with a breast pocket on each side along with a white shirt underneat and a pair of figure hugging blue jeans. He noticed a few glances from the women that walked past him, causing him to rub his messy black hair shyly as he walked. "Well gee, now how do I get a cab," he groaned loudly as he heard his phone ring. "Oh, just in time," he sighed gratefully as he answered the phone. "Hey Sakura! quick question...how do I get a cab at an airport."
"Klay...you've travelled through plane before," came Sakura's annoyed tone on the other side. "Here I was just calling to make sure if you arrived safe."
"Yeah but I've never travelled through plane by myself, and someone else is always the one that goes to get it," Klay replied innocently as he leaned against his luggage slightly.
"Just go out and ask for a cab, then you give the directions like you do with all cabs," Sakura replied once more. "Anyways, just make sure not to get lost, it's not like it's your first time in Central."
"I always just got to the BHA base whenever I'm here though," Klay replied, staring at one of the airport's tv screens carefully. "Plus I'm a little nervous...I haven't seen Kai in 7 months since he left, I wonder if he's mad at me."
"You'll be fine," Sakura nodded her head. "Anyways if you see Juliet or Jack just make sure to tell them I'll be there tomorrow after I get this work done over here."
"Got it, I gotta catch up with Jack too," Klay laughed. "I better take some pics with Kai since Klarise and Shimo have been asking about him a lot lately," he replied, a smile going across his face before he started walking once more. "Anyways, talk to you later."
Hazel spent the day in her apartment, sitting at a small, wooden table. On top of it, there was a laptop with a middle aged man's face on the screen. He had dark skin, short greying hair, and a warm smile. Hazel was uneasily tapping her foot against the floor while he talked.
"Honey, it's fantastic to see you again," he said. "I'm glad you found the time to talk."
"I've been busy recently. You know that," Hazel said, leaning against her arm on the table. Her father simply stared at her in response. He appeared concerned.
"Is that how you got that nasty cut on your head?" he asked, pointing a finger at it. Hazel frowned in response. The wound she received from the fight with the false skill users was healing, but the mark was definitely still there. While she no longer wore a bandage, there was a scar on her forehead that was still healing.
"You said there was important information to tell me?" she replied, somewhat impatiently.
"Um," her father began to say, somewhat disheartened by Hazel's reply. The fact that she would only talk to him for important information was greatly upsetting. "Well, you know your friend Antonio, yes? He's coming down to visit for the holidays."
Hazel perked up upon hearing this. "Seriously?" she asked, a smile growing on her face. "Ant's visiting? What for?"
"To visit you I think," her father said, rubbing his chin. "We also found a few documents that might interest you now that you're studying your skill. That's also why Antonio's coming down. Since he can control plants and all, he can help with some of the papers we found."
"Oh, that's actually great news," Hazel said, her eyes opening slightly. "When will he get here?"
"Sometime after the holiday season. He has some family stuff to do before staying near you for a bit," he replied. He was about to say something, but his attention was noticeably directed elsewhere. There was knocking in the background.
"Mr. Beautel!" someone yelled, all while the knocking continued. Hazel cringed immediately after hearing her last name spoken. "I have the groceries you asked for!"
Hazel frowned. "You couldn't buy your own groceries? You always bought the groceries while mom..." her voice faded. "You get what I mean."
"Yeah, but I broke my leg a couple days ago," he explained. "Can't exactly do what I used to." The knocking continued after he finished his sentence. This prompted a sigh from Hazel as she watched the scene continue.
"This is Luis Beautel's house, right?!" the same person from earlier yelled yet again. Hazel's dad turned around and told him to hold on.
"Sorry, honey. I have to go. I'll call when I get more information about Antonio, okay?" he said, turning back to the screen. Right after this occurred, the connection broke off and left Hazel staring at a blank screen. With another sigh, Hazel grabbed her bag and began to walk downstairs. She and Antonio were fantastic friends in high school; it was exciting to think about seeing him again. It had been over two years since she last saw him. With that, she made her way into the restaurant.
