After a moment of stretched silence, she lowered her eyes away from the window, leaning against the counter. "...Arigatou- I-I mean, thank you. Even though I still have...doubts, it's nice to hear it from someone else." She was trying to make an effort to use more English dialect now that she had a tongue, and it was rather embarrassing for her to relapse into her native tongue now and then. Nonetheless, it was nothing short of a difficult task. Since she wasn't actually taught the language (and was trying to not rely on psychic translations), it was proving to be a tedious issue. That would have to change soon.

Juliet nodded, smiling at Ammy's use of English. "Your English is getting a lot better already Ammy." She told the younger girl with a bright smile. "You know..." Juliet pondered something for a moment. "Liza, you know that was my degree back when I was in university right? I was an English and history major..." Juliet turned back to Ammy. "If you'd like... and I'm sure Liza would love to help... I'll tutor you in English."

"It's nothing," The purple haired girl spoke, "Nothing to worry about until the time comes."

"Ugh," Liza muttered upon being called out by Juliet, though she should've figured it would happen. She quickly walked into the kitchen, a slight blush of embarassment on her face as she chuckled to try and shrug it off. 'I wouldn't mind helping out, your english is actually pretty nice to hear Ammy," she said reassuringly.

Kai glanced at Bria, it really was true that everyone had their own shit to deal with, they all also didn't want to talk about it from what he gathered. He crossed his arms for a moment, realizing something before he spoke. "That's okay then," he told Bria. "Just know you can count on us when the time comes."

"I'll prepare some stuff." Juliet said, leaving Ammy and Liza alone in the kitchen.

Nova had been pulled from his thoughts when the conversations began. However, he didn't have the energy to try and join. "I need to go prepare. Lots of things to pack."

With that, he left back to the room to get ready.

"Me too," Hazel quietly said, leaving to pack her belongings.

Kai glanced at Nova as he saw him get up, he turned towards Hazel for a moment. "I'll get ahead on packing my own stuff too," he said as he stood up from the sofa and began walking off.

Liza looked at Ammy for a moment. "I'll have you know I'm a very strict teacher!" she pointed out, trying to sound strict and stern but clearly failing at it. "Um...we'll...start tomorrow, we can get some work done while we head for Estelar."

Ammy couldn't resist snickering at Liza's bluff. "Sure you are, and I didn't spend my whole life learning to be a shinobi."

Bria had shut the door before she continued to pack. Her heart raced as she felt herself break out into a cold sweat. Every little noise would cause her to basically jump. She needed to get this finished.

Ant also got up to pack. He wasn't too crazy about this tournament, but he figured he would get out of it soon enough. He's dealt with worse. He could take losing early on.

Hazel, meanwhile, began to pack. As she was doing so, an image flickered in the corner of her eye. The young woman immediately jumped, clearly caught off guard; apparently this would be a reoccurring thing. It was a young girl, around the age of fifteen. Tan skin, brown, curly hair. It was Eve. Hazel went quiet.

"Hey," the young girl said with a smile. "Isn't it kinda neat to see me?"

Silence.

"You know, not mutilated and stuff?"

Hazel's eyebrow's furrowed in pain.

"You should just give up on trying to help this guild. You don't actually want to fight in this tournament right?"

One plus side of having Magog take on the form of her deceased sister: Hazel knew it couldn't be real. It was impossible. Taking Nova's advice into consideration, she continued to work. Images of her sister flashed through her mind. Most particularly, images of her dying. Repeatedly. She continued to pack.

"....shut up," Liza replied embarassingly as she went to grab chips.

The next day the group set off, taking the train once more, though this time only to get down the mountain. From there they would go to Estelar by plane.

Unfortunately it would be a six hour plane ride so it was bound to get quite difficult after a while, but the plane was now quickly approaching Estelar.

Kai looked out from his window seat as the city approached. It didn't really seem as bad as he usually heard, gratned he was only getting a bird's eye view, but the city, like any of the other big cities he had seen was surrounded by buildings, though he could tell there were a lot of unfinished ones as well as a lot of sandy fields filled with metal houses. "So, this is Estelar," he said towards Kari and Curtis who were sitting in the aisle along with him. "It's...going to be an interesting day," he pointed out, also noticing that the South Continent's famous heat seemed to be at full force, at least from how bright everything seemed to be from outside.

Liza meanwhile was sitting in her aisle alongside Ammy and Yui, the girl had followed through with her and Juliet's promise and had been teaching Ammy english with the material Juliet had given her. "All right, one more time before we arrive Ammy," she instructed.

As before, Rick had put himself to sleep as soon as they'd gotten in the air. He still hated flying.

Juliet was idly typing away on her laptop, sipping from a drink on her tray table as she did so. She was half paying attention to Liza and Ammy doing their English lessons.

Ant glanced out the window with a frown. He wanted to avoid Estelar at all costs. Patis was so much cozier.

Hazel was listening to music; it always calmed her nerves.

Bria sighed as she saw a stewardess walk back.

"Can you bring me some vodka?" She asked.

Nova was sitting next to Juliet, flipping a silver coin in between his fingers.

"How much do you think a silver coin would get me in Estelar?"

Juliet popped out the earbud on Nova's side so she could answer the question without shouting. "Silver coin. No idea honey." She shrugged. She knew many things, but currency exchange off the top of her head for a country she'd never consider visiting was one she didn't. "Hold on, I can try to look up their exchange rates..." She muttered, typing away some more on her laptop.
