"Stop!" Bria yelled. The man was causing the pain to be amplified.
"Do what the princess says and let me go," he spoke simply before looking at her, "Anything you try to do to me, I just put the pain onto her. Little bitch deserves it after leaving me."
"I mean, what should we do with him now that he's vined," Kai pointed out dryly before looking back at the creep. "You were telling Bria how you were gonna knock him flat and all."
"Can't we just put him in one of Ammy's pocket dimensions or something?" Liza asked curiously, summoning Aphrodite to try and calm Bria down and ease the pain.
Rick shook his head. "It doesn't work like that." He frowned. "I don't know who this guy is or why you all jumped him... but let him go. He can't try anything with all of us around." He advised quietly.
'Well you're dealing with a group consisting of two demons, three people could literally break you mentally and physically, a...nature guy, sorry Ant, two ninja's and...you get the idea," Kai trailed off, frowning at the man. "But yeah, maybe we should just let him go and get going."
"How about calling the police?" Liza asked, worried.
"We kind of assaulted him first and..." he looked towards the airport, where the people inside had backed away and were looking at the group. "Yeah."
"Good point. We don't want to deal with the fuzz already. Not in a town like this. The cops in seedy places like this are corrupt as they come. Throw you in the hole, bleed you of all your cash... if you run into the cops in a place like this... you don't go quietly." Rick muttered under his breath. "We need to go. Now."
"Yeah, Bria get in the cab," Kai instructed, gesturing for Liza to help Bria inside along with Sakura. "Everyone get in the other cabs, once we're moving Ant will let him go."
"I'm not going unless she goes with me," the man replied.
"I'm not going with you!" Bria yelled.
"Oh, but you see, you don't have a choice. You have to be punished for running away. Of course, I knew where you were the whole time. I just had to wait until you came back to me."
"Who said I was coming back for you?" the purple haired girl replied, still in a bit of pain, "Let's just get out of here, guys..."
"If you run now, your punishment will be in tenfold. Remember Aubria, you're my property and you're gonna always end up back here."
Juliet was sitting in Starbucks drinking a latte and typing away on her laptop. She didn't realize her guild mates were in trouble. Humming to herself quietly, she seemed quite absorbed in what she was reading.
"Ant is right." Rick told Hazel quietly. "We need to go. Now. Worry about Bria, we can figure out a solution, but she's safe with us."
