Damian beamed from ear to ear, happy he hadn't caused any trouble. "Thank you, sir - that would be great." He turned to face his new teammates. "So why do you guys think this has been happening? The attacks, I mean not me cleaning tables." He asked them.

"Isn't it obvious? Someone has to be somehow giving skills to others," Gabriel said bringing some dirty dishes back from a table. "The true question is how and who?"

"I'd have to disagree with that. What's most important is why. So far the events seem to be widely unrelated aside from the consistent appearance of borrowed powers" Leon remarked, heading into the kitchen to start washing some of the dishes.

"I think we shouldn't get involved with this anymore," Kai replied with a frown as he looked down at the table, his eyes staring at the table with a downcast expression. He still kept thinking back to the events of the fight against those borrowed skill users and the person that they had received, he had a suspicion that the person could be related to the source of the fake powers but...he didn't want to think about it or tell anyone about it. He let out a sigh before leaning back. "We should just let other guilds deal with this one, it's too much of a mess to figure out."

Juliet sighed, it was only a matter of time before this happened. After taking care of her other tables, she slid into the seat across from her mother. "I'm happpier here. They get me." She stated calmly. "Far more than Kai or GAbe or any of them."

"Define get you," Sakura asked calmly before taking a sip from her cup of tea, her eyes staring at her daughter, not with malice but rather with curiosity. "I'm not stupid Tavalla, I know you walked off of there not cause of them not "getting" you, mostly because youdidn't really give them a chance," Sakura shook her head. "You walked out of there because things weren't going the way you wanted, you always had that spoiled side to you," she explained methodiclly before taking a bite out of the creampuffs. "I blame your dad for that one, like the time he let you have ice cream for dinner."

"So we should standby as someone continues giving people the power to kill? That's cowardice," Gabriel snapped at KAi.

"You look into those eyes of hers and tell her no." Jack replied. "I'm sorry that I spoiled my little Angel... Well okay I'm not." He admitted sheepishly.

"Should I really have to let them, you know, get me." Juliet pointed out. "Also they betrayed me, lie to me, judge me..." She sighed. "I don't need their shit Mom."

"If we're not requested to then yes," Kai replied back, a glare in his eyes as he flashed to Gabriel. "Also you should really calm yourself more man, we already lose a teammate because of your dumb shit," he said as he stood up from his seat. "Anyways, we're still a new guild, there's many other bigger and more capable guilds that can deal with all of this, it doesn't have to be us," he stated serioiusly.

"Do elaborate on that last part please," Sakura insisted, ignoring Jack's comment. "How did they lie, betray and judge you?"

"I don't know why Tavalla left, but I know it was because of her self and not me, so don't blame me. Maybe if you were a better leader then there wouldn't be issues," he shot back.

"Mom, I'm a psychic. I know what they think about me." She remarked dryly. "As for lying and betraying me, that would be mainly Gabriel's sin. Sending me in the wrong direction when I'm just trying to do a job, lying to me about it and then expecting me to apologize to him." Juliet pointed out. "My word can someone be more full of themselves than that?" She mused.

"Then maybe if you shut your damn mo-"

"Okay that's enough," Lyra clapped her hands, causing Kai to turn towards her before she put her hands on her hips. "You guys are supposed to be a Guild, stop arguing all the time already."

"But-"

"No buts," Lyra scolded. "You two argue way to much for stupid reasons, Kai, you're way too impulsive and get upseat easily and Gabiel you also get upseat easily and don't listen to anyone, you both need to learn some proper teamwork here....plus you're both dense."

***

Sakura shook her head. "That's just your powers fooling you, I knew you were begin given too much of it too early," she stated as she stood up and looked at her daughter. "You're the one betraying you friends, you should stop acting like a spoiled little child and grow up and stop letting your powers dictate what you do, otherwise you'll always be weak."

"That's rich coming from you Mom." Juliet shot back. "After all, you're the one who apparently gave Gabriel my address... I'd ask how you even got that, but I know better... and please, I haven't done anything of the sort." She glared at her mother. "They don't want me around, so there's no need for me to force my company on them. I'm wanted here, I'm liked here..."

"Okay, both of you." Jack sighed. "You're giving me a headache." Clearly a joke. "Sorry about this in advance little wing." Jack muttered before shorting out Juliet's brain, knocking her unconscious. "I had to do that because we have a problem." Jack didn't want Juliet to hear what came next. "Her emotional outbursts are no accident. Her condition is getting worse. The mental blocks I put up in her mind all those years ago are starting to falter. And as she gets more skilled..." He sighed. "I may need your help to cure her."

"I listen to others. And I'm always open for teamwork regardless of how much I don't like someone. However I won't listen on this. I'm going to see if I can find out about this. The weak don't deserve skills," Gabriel said walking out.

Mordic sighed softly, her gaze becoming unfocused as she lost herself in her thoughts. As she blocked out Kai's bickering, another lone thought crossed her mind.

They believe I'm a human, just like them. When will they find out the truth? It's not an easy topic to explain, much less talk about...

Kai frowned at Gabriel as he stood up and began to walk off. "Just go then," he groaned.

"Wait Gab-" before Lyra could stop him her statement was cut off by the sound of an explosion not too far from the cafe, the sound causing Kai and Lovo to stand up alarmed. "Now what."

"I figured it was something like that," Sakura scratched her forehead in annoyance as she leaned back against her chair. She knew that her daughter had been born with a lot of potential, so much so that it could present trouble for her. It wasn't known to many but most PSI users that reach a certain level of power will at some point have to see how much they can keep their sanity or be consumed by the skill.

"I guess I'm glad that at least she came to this assassin's guild, I'm not happy that she's killing but at least it being Lilian's guild they're able to watch over her too," she frowned for a moment. "So how do we cure her?" she asked before hearing the explosion, causing her to raise her head back.

Brought back into focus by the burst of sound, Mordic cringed as her sensitive ears were assaulted by the soundwaves. Without as much as a glance towards Kai, she jumped out of the seat and initiated transformation into a wendigo as she shoved the doors open and made a break for it towards the source.

Having heard the explosion, Damian dived under the table and bumped his head hard against it, cursing in the process. When the explosion was over, he came back from under the table with a large piece of bubblegum in his hair. "What was that?" He asked, running to the door following the wendigo. "Wait for me, Wendigo!" He called out while running, still unaware of the bubblegum in his hair.

"Wai-" Gabriel tried to say to Damian and Mordic. "Great. Well Kai, shall we go?" he asked him, motioning for the door.

"Nothing to worry about." Jack said about the explosion. Such things didn't concern him as all thoughts were on his daughter's health. "The explosion I mean..." He muttered looking around. "And you said this was Lilian's guild... I didn't actually recall that... that is very good to know." He trailed off, considering how to answer the hardest question of all. "I'm not entirely sure how to cure her. She's really a one of a kind case, and as you and I both know, the cure I chose for myself didn't really work." He frowned. "We have to make a choice... either make the blocks stronger, or let them down and let her have access to all of her power. There is a possibility that her symptoms are being caused by having too much power stored up and no way to release it."
