Reason had snapped within her like a twig as she charged Troy again, her soulless black sockets boring into him like the headlights of a truck as it was about to maul a deer.
"Shut up!" Leon snarled as he vanished to avoid the ice. As he appeared on the other side of the room, he saw the shield protecting Todd and decided to figure out what skillset these guys were using. Teleporting to the side of the now-encased Troy, he slammed a brightly glowing hand onto the red barrier, intent on draining whatever energy it was that sustained the ability.
The shield would prove difficult to take down. Nova lowered his hand, surveying around the shield's entirety. No feasible way to get in... then, he would keep them from attacking. "Aim for their feet!" Nova yelled out to the group, lifting his hand to send a beam that would explode near Todd's feet, attempting to send him into the air.
"Looks like greetings will have to wait, kid," Hazel hastily said, flicking her wrists forward. Water began to form at her fists, and instead of joining the others in fighting, she attempted to put out the flames in the restaurant.
Todd was thrown into the air. From the air, he returned fire at Nova, summoning a large spear and throwing it at him.
Troy allowed the shield to drop, causing it to explode outward towards Leon. He vanished once again, appearing below Troy and catching him with his magic. He then threw the shielded Todd like a wrecking ball at Hazel.
Gabriel hadn't gone to the restaurant. He was staring at emails from his mother. He hadn't noticed but they seemed like they were hiding something. So he decided to ask his sister about it, and thus ended up in the bakery.
As soon as Hazel noticed Todd spiraling towards her, she immediately used the water she created earlier in order to create a thick wall of ice in front of her for protection.
Not only had the fire been set around the bar, but on Damian's half eaten cake. "Ah! Firey cake!" Damian yelled, before summoning a large spoon and covering the burnt cake - it put it out.
"I was enjoying that piece of cake as well..." Damian muttered before creating a large spoon under both of the men's feet, their feet being on the circular part. With a flick of his hand, the men were sent catapulting towards the wall, knives and forks following them in hot pursuit so they could land on them once they landed.
"You know brother, this would be a lot more fun if Rose was actually here." Todd said to Troy after slamming off of Hazel's ice wall and bouncing away.
"Yeah you people, where's Rose. Blonde hair, violet eyes and a mean streak." Troy shouted after blinking away from Nordic's charge and burning down Hazel's ice wall with fire.
"You only added mean streak because she hustled you out of that cash brother." Todd remarked from the air, putting protective shields up on both of them to ward off the silverware.
As Kai listened to what Troy and Todd were saying he couldn't help but feel like he knew who they were talking about. "Wait, how do you know Juliet!" he exclaimed to the two of them, clenching both of his fists.
Once her wall of ice melted down, Hazel began to focus on using her life energy, something that she studied a bit further while she was away. If she wanted to extinguish the flames in the restaurant, and she knew she could, she would have to protect herself from burns. Hazel quickly glanced over at the remaining flames in the room. Focusing heavily on the protection of herself from the heat, she began working on removing the oxygen from each burning flame. Afterall, she currently wasn't under attack.
Damian decided he would help the girl who had apparently not been in the guild for some time to put out the fire as he had no idea who this "juliet" was and didn't want to get involved in this conversation. Using his PSI powers, Damian grabbed a fire extinguisher and started to put out the fire. If they were to ask him how he knew he knew, he would shrug his shoulders and tell them science class and it was true.
Kai noticed Hazel's new trick of absorbing the oxygen in the flames, a smile going through his face. "You've learned some new tricks haven't you?" He grinned towards the girl.
The explosion caught Leon completely off guard, the red aura around his hand vanishing as the force of it slammed him into one of the cafe's walls. As he fell down onto the floor, he struggled to get his bearings back, anger visibly starting to override his senses. However, as agitated as he was, the impact had still dazed him enough to make standing back up difficult.
"New? Please, the only thing that's new is that I'm not burning myself!" Hazel exclaimed with a smirk. It was true, she had managed to remove the oxygen before, however, this time her life energy prevented burn injuries.
"About damn time," Kai teased with a smirk before turning back to Todd and Troy, his eyes looking at the still burning cafe as he glared at the two. "Now you're going to get it!" he yelled out as he took out a razor from his pocket and cut across his arm, allowing him to create a blade out of blood that came out from his arm as he charged at the two.
At that moment a wall of concrete erupted from the ground in front of the two brothers, the wall colliding with the roof and stopping Kai from charging at them. "Time to go you two," came Maise, the concrete girl that Kai, Hazel and Nova had fought against before, as she stood in front of the cafe's doorway.
"Right Maise." Troy said with a sly smile. "Oh and next time you see... well whatever she goes by now... tell her that her past sins won't be forgotten with just a name change." He said to the members of Void. In a flash of light, Troy, Todd and Maise all vanished. Cop sirens could be heard approaching the burning cafe rapidly.
"Let's get out of here," Kai said to the others, alarmed as he led them out of the burning cafe to where Lovo and a coughing Lyra were. Kai panted, looking around at all the people and cops that had gathered around the place. He clenched his knees, feeling rage suddenly wash over him as he remembered what Troy and Todd had said. "Fuck!" he yelled in rage, forgetting about everyone completely as he ran through the crowd and the street, energy going down his legs and increasing his speed as he set hsi sights on the assassin's bakery.
"You!" he screamed loudly as he slammed through the entrance of the about to close cafe, shattering through the glass as he slid inside and came face to face with Chrome.
"Well, looks like the commotion going on over there has reached here," Chrome chuckled before sinking into the ground.
"Get out here now Juliet!" Kai roared, fists clenched.

"That's not ending well," Lovo pointed out, his eyes turning towards the cafe and at a Wendigo formed Mordic. "And I guess we should deal with her before she causes trouble," he pointed out as he rolled up his sleeves and began walking over.
