"What's this movie about again?" Curtis asked from where he sat, trying his best not to fall asleep.

Liza jumped a bit when she felt Ammy's head against her shoulder, she had clearly gotten way into the movie. When she realized it was Ammy she became flustered instead, shyly wrapping an arm around Ammy while looking.

As Kai made his way into the house he noticed that the others were watching movies in the living room, choosing not to interrupt them he decided instead to go up to the rooms. He didn't know if Nova was watching the movie or was in his room so instead he chose to leave the pulse guns on the doorstep to his room. He yawned a bit deciding to go down to the kitchen and making himself something to eat.

Leon was asleep on the floor, the toll of having to train all day without his powers having finally caught up to him. He'd clocked out almost immediately once the movie started, and it didn't look like he would be waking up anytime soon.

Nova had come to sit next to Juliet. His eyes were in the TV, but his mind elsewhere.

--

"She has a daughter?" Taren blinked, taking the binoculars. He settled its lenses on Hazel, then silently whistled. "Damn, she's cute."

He continued looking, surveying over her. Then he nodded. "So, this is where they are. We'll be ready."

Rick glanced over at Ammy and Liza. Confusing. He didn't get it. They were both girls. Shrugging, he turned back to Mordic.

Juliet noticed that Nova was drifting away from her. She didn't comment, but it worried her. Reaching out from under the blanket, she gently took his hand, almost as if to impart some small bit of comfort.

Grab her hand back. Let her know you're fine.

Nova did so, intertwining his fingers with hers.

Good. It'll be the most useful thing you've done all night.

Juliet could feel Nova's mood, but she didn't know why he was upset. While she could have easily invaded his mind to figure it out, she respected him too much for that. Instead, she just tried to comfort him as best she could. "I love you." She murmured into his ear, leaning into his shoulder.

Aww, she loves her little puppy so much. How sweet~

Nova leaned into Juliet, putting an arm around her and closing his eyes. "I love you, too," he murmured back to her.

The worst part is that you mean it, too. Mortals are funny.

"Well that's too bad, because if things go our way, she should be dead by tomorrow," Finn bluntly stated, still watching through the window. After a moment of thought she added, "We should get moving. Tomorrow's a big day for us."

Hazel, completely oblivious to the scene going on outside, was now upstairs. She was in Isabelle's study: a room that she knew held numerous important items and knick knacks. Walking over to one of the bookshelves in the corner, Hazel picked up an old, dusty photo album. She slowly began to flip through it. Images of Ant, Isabelle, and his father flipped by. From baby pictures to family portraits, she viewed them all with a gentle smile; she always enjoyed going back like this. One particular photo, however, caught her attention.

The old, slightly torn image depicted two young children. It was her and Ant as children.

Just as she was about to turn the page, she heard footsteps at the door.

"Had a feeling you were here," Ant simply stated, leaning against the doorframe. Hazel immediately let out a sigh.

"Yeah, just looking through a few things," she eventually said. Ant walked over and sat down next to her. "Look how young are. We were probably like... six here."

Ant's face brightened slightly. "Yeah. That was our first day of school. The downfall of our life," he joked, taking a seat. And the two of them stayed like that for a while. Just flipping through the numerous pictures in the album. It had been a while since Hazel actually saw some of these images; most of her family's photos were destroyed years ago.

And the night continued on. The movie ended, and people went to sleep.

The next morning, the group was going to go out for breakfast. It was finally time to wake up and get on the road. Hazel and Ant were currently in the living room, completely dressed and ready to go. Ant was reading from a textbook, and Hazel was staring down at her feet, waiting for the others.

Liza yawned as she got down to the living room. "Good morning," she greeted them, she had finally gotten the hang of walking down, but she still had to hold onto the rails when going down the stairs and lean against the wall when things got too unstable. "You guys slept well?"

"Morning," Kai greeted the others as he walked down to the dining room as well, waving at Liza, Hazel and Ant.

Rick was in the corner sipping a cup of coffee. As usual, he'd been up for a couple of hours already.

Juliet was still stirring. It would take her a few minutes to be presentable before she joined the others.

Bria and Kari had both came downstairs. Bria was sporting one of the new outfits that she bought when the girls went out. It was a short, red dress with t-shirt like sleeves, a black belt to better show off her curves, black heels and she had sunglasses on her head.

"Morning," she spoke. Kari just waved.

Ammy followed soon after, popping her neck and stretching both of her arms behind her head. "Morning," she muttered, stifling a yawn.

Mordic, having been a light sleeper, was also up, sipping from a cup of herbal tea.

Yui was softly humming the song she was singing the previous day, making an effort to keep the hypnotizing effect to a bare minimum as she ate breakfast.

Leon was clearly still half-asleep, wordlessly entering the kitchen and making his way past the others to make himsrlf a cup of coffee. These nightmares were really starting to mess with him.

"Um...are you getting along well with the others by the way?" he asked in a low voice, he had been worried about how the others might take to Kari about what happened before, though he imagined that what had happened the other night had been a good way for her to become a part of the group. "Thanks about yesterday too, I needed that."

"Oh you're welcome," Kari answered simply. "I guess I'm getting along with everyone. I haven't fully had a chance to get acquainted with everyone."
