Kai was barely able to move away from the lightning, gritting his teeth as he slid on teh ground at sighed, he had forgotten that Cora could create lightning just like Hazel could, and stronger too. "I won't let you kill her!" he called out before charging up more red ligihtning around his fist and firing it in a blast at Cora.

"Um...guys!" Liza called out as she saw all the attacks getting blocked. 'I think it's better if we retreat from here, just saying."

 

[Taengoo]

One moment Akuno was before Bria, and the next, the mutated teenager was gone. She had lunged towards Hazel, and was looming over the Skill User with her inhuman legs adding to her already-intimidating look. Her right appendage was suddenly being brought down on Hazel, and if executed correctly would practically bisect the girl, acidic substance trickling off of the blade-like claws like that of runoff.

Told you so, the human voice nearly pouted, as Mordic cursed under her breath and sidestepped the lethal substance.

Ammy vanished in a burst of black light, reappearing just in time to slash at Zed with a blank expression.

 

[Flaze]

Zed turned back, blocking Ammy's slash as he smiled. "So is it really true you forgot about me and all the fun we had?" he asked melodramatically before he threw a kick at her.

 

[Taengoo]

"I'm just gonna go out on a limb and assume that your definition of fun is not the same as mine," she remarked, catching the foot with her metallic hand, black energy binding around it and constricting it with immense force.

 

[Prez]

Cora simply dodged the attack, ramming her fist, still covered in piercingly sharp rocks, into Kai's stomach.

Hazel froze up. She couldn't help but... stare at the creature. Did her mother do that? Is that what she was capable of? Hazel's heart skipped a beat. Is... that what she herself was capable of...? The attack would have succeeded, due to these crazy, nonstop thoughts, and Hazel would have met her demise. However, at the last minute something- no, someone blocked it. The person in question let out a crippling scream.

On the ground in front of her was Ant. Dead vines were tangled about... and... blood. There was so much blood. His whole entire forearm was cut clean off, with the other part laying lifeless near him.

"Ant!" Hazel screamed, horribly loud. Forgetting the fight, or anything, the young woman rushed to his side, panic ever so present in her eyes. The young man was motionless in her arms, and he was losing more blood by the second.

 

[Flaze]

Zed groaned a bit but quickly jumped around, lifting his other foot of the ground before throwing it at Ammy's face so as to get out of her grip. "You really know how to use that new toy.

Kai was hit by Cora's arm, getting stabbed and thrown away just as Ant's arm was cut off. He rolled on the ground, groaning and coughing blood as he looked over, seeing Liza running over to him quickly. "Damn...you!" Kai yelled out, his eyes becoming feral as his hand sturned into claws. His wound began to quickly heal as his demonic energy overflowed and he charged at Cora, this time faster than before before he fired a barrage of blasts at her.

"I'll try and stop the bleeding for now," Liza said as she knelt in front of Ant, releasing Jean and summoning Aphrodite, using a small chant to try and heal his wound as best he could. "Nova!" she yelled through the mind link. "Call Doc quickly."

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

Bria stopped as she heard Hazel's scream. She turned around and saw the horrid scene at hand. She just screamed as she ran over to Hazel. Not even hesitating, she took off the belt off of her dress and ran over to where Ant was. She began trying to tie it around the injury. It took everything in her mentally to not show emotion.

"We have to get the bleeding to stop, Hazel," she stated, "Or he's going to die. Prop the rest of his arm up so I can get." she then saw Liza. "We need someone to teleport him out of here. NOW."

 

[Flaze]

Liza looked at the wuond once more, this time calling down Shati and having her start to use her flames to try and cautorize the wound quickly.

 

[Taengoo]

"More people...I have to....cut down, Ms. Cora..?" Akuno asked without turning to look at her, the compound eye's stare fixed creepily down on the the smol group. She cocked her head unnaturally, claw-like appendages twitching as she lurched towards them at a slow, calculating pace.

 

[Infinity Storm]

Leon took one last slash before warping to Bria's side, doing his best to contain his shock at what he was seeing. The last thing he needed was to be lost right now.

"Where do I take him?" Leon asked quickly, nervously watching Akuno approach out of the corner of his eye.

 

[Prez]

Hazel ignored all other people, her mind running at a million miles per second. Without hesitating, she began to assist Stati in cauterizing the wound. She could make it look pretty later.

The ground below Cora suddenly rose, thus letting her effectively dodge Kai's attack. "Boring," she commented. Looking at Akuno, she smirked. Keep all of them busy until Taren finishes," she instructed, glancing over at the young male.

 

[Alolan Ninetales]

"Right now, just hold them off until we can get this taken care of!" Bria ordered Leon.

 

[Infinity Storm]

"Got it" Leon replied before standing up, turning to face Akuno as his arms started glowing brightly, the marks becoming visible through his jacket as he sent a flurry of energy slashes at the female.

 

[Taengoo]

"...Yes, Ms. Cora..." The mutated girl replied dutifully, expression blank as she begun to hack at the smol group again, her human eye simply staring ahead while the insectoid one was boring down strangely on the squad. As Leon began to attack the distinctly feminine creature, she simply sidestepped the blasts, unspeaking.

 

[Infinity Storm]

Leon smirked when Akuno avoided the slashes, muttering "Gotcha" before he teleported away in a flash of light. Just as Akuno sidestepped his last shockwave, he would appear behind her, slamming his blade through the shockwave to rebound it into her at nearly point-blank range.

 

[Flaze]

Liza had Ventix fire a barrage of wind at Akuno in an attempt to blow her away.

Kai gritted his teeth, glancing back at the others frowning before looking up at Cora. He put his hands on the ground before liftning the area around him up, leaving him at eye level with Cora. "I've learend some new tricks as well," he smirked before a metalic aura appeared around him as he raised the fallen concret and threw the pieces at Cora.

 

[Taengoo]

Her head rotated at an impossible angle to stare directly into his soul, the feelers attached to her mandible twitching constantly as she blocked the attack with her insectoid arm. Almost immediately, the blade would begin to melt due to the extremely corrosive substance spilling from the appendage as a substitute for blood. "Wrong," she mumbled, moving faster than he could blink, intending to cleave him cleanly in half with the massive claws attached to her elongated right arm. Liza's attack didn't so much as budge the creature.

A very strong barrier of psychic energy intercepted his other foot, the physical equivalent of trying to kick a wall of reinforced steel. "So, is that the best you could do?" She asked, sounding bored.

 

[Hector]

Rick had dodged out of the way of the lava and Zed and found himself standing with Juliet.

"It's all happening just as it did last time." Rick said sadly to her.

"Naturally. Nobody was prepared. The price is being paid." Juliet seemed distant.

"What do we do?" Rick asked.

"When the other shoe drops... hold the line. They will need your help to escape this place." Juliet told him with a frown.

 

[Flaze]

Zed snickered. 'Actually, no," he said before vanishing and reappeairng on his knees in front of Ammy as he stabbed forward at her stomach with the scissor blade.

 

[Isaac Gates]

Before Leon could get hit, Curtis created a portal under his feet to get him out of harm's way and another one next to himself, the first portal shutting after Leon had passed through it.
